Prologue

"Frank?" Carol shook her husband of three years, trying her best to wake him up, "Frank?" She whispered again, with the same results, nothing. "FRANK!" Carol practically boomed, this time he shot up out of the bed and stared at her oddly.

"Whaaattt? I was having a really good dream Carol, why the hell are you waking me up at…" Frank Lambert glanced at the clock, "oh jeez, one in the morning? Are you out of your mind woman? I have to be at the site at five." He leaned back onto his pillows and closed his eyes hoping Carol would come back to bed and go to sleep, in turn leaving him the hell alone.

Sighing Carol rolled her eyes, "Frank, I wouldn't be waking you up if it wasn't something serious. Dana isn't in her room."

"Not hearing the serious part yet." He whispered sarcastically. Frank tried to burrow deeper into the covers but Carol grabbed his ear waking him up fully. "Ye-ow! All right, all right. She's probably just downstairs studying or something."

Frank crawled out of the bed and followed Carol around the house searching for his stepdaughter. When neither could find Dana anywhere in the house Frank began to worry. Granted Dana got on his nerves on a regular basis but that's what daughter's were supposed to do.

Both parents were concerned enough to drag all the kids out of bed despite their whining and began to question them. "All right one of you must know where Dana is. She isn't anywhere in this house so start talking now."

"Wait, Barky is missing…that's why you dragged us out of bed? Aww man, I was having a great dream, Barky just ruins everything doesn't she?" JT complained.

One by one Frank and Carol went through the children until they were completely satisfied none of them knew where Dana went off too. When even Mark and Karen didn't know the entire family became concerned. They might all rag on each other but something that's this serious banded them all together, "Maybe Cody has seen her; he's normally up late working on his Harley." JT suggested.

"Good idea son." Frank pointed to JT and as a family they rushed into the back yard and a sight none of them thought they would ever see greeted all of them. Cody knew exactly where Dana was, if his tongue down her throat was any indication.

Jaws dropped as Dana's moan was heard and Cody brought her body closer to his own. Her hands clutched his shoulders, the leather jacket groaning under her palms. Carol got over her shock first and walked right up to Cody and Dana and cleared out her throat, loudly.

Quickly they turned around to face Carol. "Both of you, inside, now."
