Response to a challenge by 'THEORETICAL', I hope you like it…

Looking in Abby's cupboards for something to eat McGee found a small box, right at the back. Picking it up he looked at the label and read out loud,

"'Necco Sweethearts.' What on earth are they?" walking into her bedroom Tim went to see if Abby was up and to ask her but found she was still sleeping. Standing in her doorway he just watched her for a minute.

"Tim, I'm bored, come over," she had begged down the phone, "we can play that space game you always play." Tim had just sighed, told her he would be over soon and left his apartment.

Tim watched as she turned in her sleep muttering something. 'She's so beautiful.' He thought as he left the room. Sitting down at her kitchen table Tim opened up the 'Necco Sweethearts' and started to look through them still puzzle by what they were.

Little lollies with 'MY GIRL', 'MISS ME', 'IT'S LOVE' AND 'LET'S KISS' written on them fell into his out stretched hand.

What the?" he muttered, now even more confused than before. Shifting through more he found even more little 'romantic' sayings. 'HEART OF GOLD', 'AMORE', 'BE KIND', 'BE MINE' and 'BE MY HERO' were only a few that fell out.

Starting to get the idea that you could make messages with them Tim tipped the rest of the packet over and started making sentences.

'MY GIRL, YOUR NICE, WANT YOU, YOU ROCK, FOREVER.' Smiling at his work of art Tim picked up 'S.W.A.K' and popped it in his mouth sucking on it. Immediately he gagged. 'How can anyone eat this stuff?' he thought to himself quickly swallowing the sweet whole.

Looking at the time he realised that he had to get to work to finish some paper work that he had been doing when Abby had called. Getting up to see if she was now awake Tim had a better idea. Quickly shifting through the lollies that remained on the table he gave a self satisfied grin and then left.

Upon waking up Abby realised that Tim had left a while ago.

"He could have at least said 'goodbye'" she grumbled as she rolled out of bed and went to make some tea. Whilst passing her kitchen table Abby stopped. She saw a packet of 'NECCO SWEETHEARTS' that she hadn't seen for months on the table and then a sentence that someone had obviously written.

'MY GIRL,

BE GOOD MISS YOU.

CALL ME. E-MAIL ME.

BE MINE, YOU + ME.

LOVE HIM.'
