A Light in the Dark

Hey everyone! This is my first poem that I just thought of one day. It's a just a chapter of poems about Emiko when she was younger. Please read and review because this is my first shot at a poem about Emiko.

"It's not your Fault"

A young girl,

Innocently beautiful,

Yet deep inside,

Was the hidden guilt,

She wasn't,

And she never will be,

The male of the Niwa's,

To carry the family name,

To carry not only that,

But the curse,

The curse everyone adored,

But will never know the truth of.

The curse,

Of Kaitou Dark.

Small Emiko,

Running in the shadows,

Calling, calling, calling for the thief,

Hoping, against hope, the Phantom was there,

The guilt grows,

"It's not your fault," says her father,

But she knows,

Deep down,

He wanted a male, another person to be the Tamer of Dark,

The Thief who would steal from hands of the Hikari,

To fight Krad, curse of the art makers,

Fighting, curse against curse,

But never satisfying either families,

That was what she wanted,

What her father wanted,

For she, seeing through all the love,

She knew she,

Emiko Niwa,

Was a failure to her family.
