Ron was a boy,
Hermione was a girl,
He didn't notice.
He didn't do homework,
"Do it now!" she'd say,
"Or there'll be hell to pay."

They wanted each other,
But both were too stupid to notice,
And their friends
Laughed and said
"Those two might never know!"

He was the Keeper boy,
She said "Do your homework, boy!"
He didn't study enough for her.
She had more than a pretty look
But her head was always in a book
She needed to come back down to life.

Five years from now,
She sits in Hogwarts
Grading papers, because of her smarts
She turns on the television,
Who does she see?
Keeper boy rocking Magical T.V.!
She apparatus, she tells her friends
And they already know
And they all have tickets
To see him play Quidditch.
She tags along,
Stands on the side,
Looks at the boy she turned down with pride.

He was the Keeper boy,
She said "Do your homework, boy!"
He didn't study enough for her.
Now he is a Quidditch star
Riding on his Shooting Star
Do your good looks see what he's worth?
