"Fred? FRED? FRED?" Bingo was knocking on Fred's door, impatient and furious. Oh, if he...
"Yes, Bingo?" Fred looked down at the red cherry. Bingo looked redder than usual. "Bingo are you sick?"
"No, I am not sick. I'm just furious because everyone is going goo-goo ga-ga all over the new coconut!" Bingo started mumbling, but Fred just looked at the girl.
"Boy, she's beautiful! I can see why everyone's fallen for her!" Fred also became love dazed.
"Get off of me, you slobs! I only want coconut boyfriends!" the girl pushed all the boys away, even Butch.
"But there's only one other coconut...Fred" Mr. Greenrind said. Everyone turned to Fred.
"Oh my gosh! He is so cute!" the girl said. "Hi, I'm Sammy. What's yours?"
"Fe, fe, fe...fe, fe, fe..." Fred studdered a few moments, amazed by Sammy. Then he choked the words out. "I'm Fred."
"Well, Fred, how about you pick me up tonight at seven? Here's my address." Sammy wrote the address on Fred's hand and walked away.
