Author's Notes: This fic is inspired by my niece and nephews. grin We often play this game or something along the same lines. As much as they hate to play, they can't seem to help themselves. I could easily see Kitt running into the same predicament.

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Do you know where we are going?"

"Yes Kitt."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Could you tell me where we are going?"

"No Kitt."

"I see..."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why can't you tell me where we are going?"

"Because."

Pause

"Michael, because is not a proper answer."

"Who says?"

"It's not so much a 'who', but more a 'why'."

"Ah."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"How long till we get there?"

"A bit."

"How long is 'a bit'?"

"Shorter than a while, but longer than soon."

"Michael, that's not very helpful."

Chuckle

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Might I ask another question?"

"You just did."

Pause

"Michael, Please..."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Why are we going there?"

"Because."

"Again with the because?"

"Yes Kitt."

"Does it have to do with foundation business?"

"Maybe."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"What are we going to do there?"

"You'll see."

"You can't tell me now?"

"Sorry."

"No you're not."

"You're right. I'm not."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Are we meeting someone there?"

"Possibly."

Pause

"Michael, you are not being overly informative!"

Chuckle

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"How long are we going to be there?"

"That's impossible to determine."

"Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks?"

"Somewhere in there."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Will you tell me anything?"

"We are headed west."

"Michael, I already knew that."

"You weren't specific."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Will you tell me something I don't already know?"

"My favorite cookie is oatmeal chip."

"Actually Michael, I already knew that."

"You did?"

"Yes."

"Oh."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Will you tell me something I don't know about where we are going?"

"Sure."

Pause

"Well?"

"Well what?"

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"You're not going to tell me anything are you?"

"About what?"

"About where we are going?"

"Do you really want me too?"

"Yes."

"I don't think so."

"So I won't like where we are going?"

"I didn't say that."

"Yes you did."

"No I didn't"

"Yes, you did!"

"No, I didn't!"

Pause

"Really Michael, this is all rather childish!"

Chuckle

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"Are you having fun?"

"Ahem. Yes Kitt."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"I don't think I like this game."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Are you?"

"Yes."

"Are you really?"

"Yes."

"Then can we stop playing?"

"Sure."

Pause

"So?"

"So what?"

"So, are you going to tell me where we are going?"

"No Kitt."

Pause

"But we are no longer playing."

"Then stop asking questions."

"But I still want to know."

Pause

"Michael?"

"Yes Kitt?"

"You are insufferable!"

Chuckle

"It's not funny Michael."

"Yes, it is."

"No, it isn't"

"Alright."

Pause

"Alright, what?"

"Alright, it isn't funny."

"But you're still laughing."

"Because it's funny."
