Chapter 50: Enter Milordo Z
Zatch was happy and cheerful again… thanks to Dr. Riddles he was able to see what would make him more powerful... plus the training with Luffy was a lot of fun, though Luffy kept bringing up his grandpa which no one knew anything about…
Both Luffy and Zatch entered the galley to find a crying Usa being doted on by a love filled Sanji… she was stuffing herself with cakes… it didn't matter she would gain wait due to her Ki manipulation…
"What's wrong?" asked Luffy.
"Ko's still missing…" said Sanji.
"After this I'm going to look for again!" said Usa.
There was a loud squawk as a bird arrived with a letter… it was addressed to: Monkey D. Luffy, Kaya, Zatch Bell and Nya.
"Strange…" said Zatch.
Luffy got the letter and opened it…
"To Monkey D. Luffy, Zatch Bell, Kaya and Nya,
you 4 are invited to a party at the mansion on the hill at 8:00 o'clock tonight… no one else is invited… signed…" read Luffy.
"Who it is sign by?" said Zatch.
Luffy looked at both sides, "Don't say…"
Then it erupted in flames… Luffy dropped it as the burns on the paper made the signature.
"Milordo Z…" read Zatch.
Both looked at each other and knew what it was… they showed the others this right away.
"Definitely a challenge…" said Zoro.
"But why me?" asked Kaya.
"I don't know… Ko gave me this chart of our mamodo offensive power…" said Luffy taking out a chart.
The chart was Brago was 1st, Kolulu was 2nd, Zatch was 3rd, Yuki was 4th, Nya was 5th, Tia was 6th, Ponygon was 7th and Kanchome was last…
"I wonder why Zatch and Nya… Zatch is high… but Nya is average…." Said Zoro smirking that the fact Kolulu was ranked 2nd.
Brago stared at the note, "I have a theory… but…" said Brago.
"What?" asked Tia.
"I need to see what happens at the "party" first..." said Brago.
"Why am I last?" asked Kanchome.
"Because you're weak." Said Tia with a sweat drop.
"When did she give you a chart again?" asked Usa.
"I don't know." Said Luffy with a shrug.
""Your sister is the one how gave it to him, why can't you remember it?" asked Zoro with a sweat drop.
"I don't know." Said Usa with a shrug.
This just made almost everyone else sweat drop.
"Anyways its time to look for my sister!" she yelled out.
She ran out of the room.
"500 barriers says she comes back very depressed." Said Zoro with a sweat drop.
"I say she never even leaves the deck…" muttered Tia.
Indeed Usa didn't leave the deck as she planked right after leaving the galley causing those to sweat drop.
'I'm going to hold you to that bet." Said Tia.
"Great…" muttered Zoro with a sweat drop.
Sometime later Luffy, Zatch, Kaya and Nya were all heading to the location of "The Party".
It was a large mansion on the island.
"This is the place." Said Kaya.
Luffy nodded.
"So, do you think this party will be fun?" asked Zatch.
"I hope so." Laughed Luffy.
"This isn't a real party." Sighed Kaya with a sweat drop.
They entered the mansion when they got to the main hall they saw people having a grand ball.
"This isn't the type of party I was expecting." Said Zatch.
Kaya and Nya on the other hand were on edge, Luffy was just confused.
"Hey! Who's here!" yelled Luffy suddenly.
"So you're wanting a fight, that's good." Said a voice.
All of the dancers stopped dancing.
They all floated away.
That was when a Mamodo and a woman walked in, both of them were wearing masks.
"Who are you?" asked Kaya.
"Yeah!" yelled Luffy.
"I am Milordo Z." Said the Mamodo who then looked at Luffy, "Looks like I didn't make a mistake in inviting you."
"I told you he was an idiot." Said the woman with a smirk.
"As if I couldn't tell on my own." Said the Milordo Z.
Luffy looked at the two, he knew he knew them from somewhere but couldn't put his finger on it.
"Hey Zatch you getting the feeling we met them before?" asked Luffy.
"Yeah…" said Zatch.
"I'm not." Said Kaya.
That was when she realized something.
The reason why it was her and Luffy called.
It was so obvious now that she thought about it.
"You faced off against the straw hats before haven't you?" asked Kaya.
"What?" asked the woman.
"So you figured it out." Muttered Milrodo Z.
"It was before I joined." Said Kaya.
"Who are you?" asked Luffy.
"Why should we tell you?" asked the woman.
"If you haven't figured it out… which I doubt you will." Said Milordo Z.
"What's the supposed to mean!" yelled Luffy.
This just made Milordo Z and the woman sweat drop.
"You really are an idiot." Muttered the woman.
The woman took out the book.
"Radom!" she read.
Milordo Z shot a fireball at them.
Luffy grabbed Kaya out of the way while Nya and Zatch dodged.
"I think I remember who they are!" said Zatch.
The woman gritted her teeth.
"We have to get out of here!" said Luffy also straining to realize who they were facing.
Kaya could tell that whoever it was a threat.
"Like that will help you." Muttered the woman.
"Gigano Radom!" read the woman.
Milordo Z created a very large fireball.
"Rashield!" read Luffy.
The shield appeared and blocked the attack.
"That won't work." Laughed Milordo Z.
"Kaya get out of here." Said Luffy, "Go back to the ship and tell them it's that one that brainwashed Smokey's friend."
"What?" asked Kaya.
"They'll understand it." Said Luffy.
"Is that what you seriously think!" yelled the woman.
"Is that what you were?" asked Luffy confused.
"I was his subordinate!" yelled the woman.
"Whatever." Said Luffy.
"You ready?" Kaya asked Nya.
Nya nodded and they started to leave.
"Oh no you don't." muttered the woman.
"Zakerga!" read Luffy.
Zatch shot out the lightening beam.
"You really think you can stop us?" asked Milordo Z.
"We can try." Said Zatch when he regained consciousness.
The two teams glared at each other unsure on how the fight would go. Only that it was going to be very important in the future.
