"John?" She sounded unsure, as if it might not really be me.

"Yeah, Casey."

"How long... How long have you been here?"

"I haven't been here too long, but as soon as I could come, I did." I looked at her, hating the bastard who hurt her with every inch my being. "Casey, what happened?"

Her eyes teared up and she turned away. I felt heart break a little more when she did that. It hurt that she couldn't lok at me. "I can't remember," she whispered and I realised she was ashamed. Embarrassed she couldn't remember who had landed her in this place.

I ran my hand through her hair, my other hand already firmly grasping her's. "We'll get him, Casey. I promise." I hated promising anything to anyone, but this promise I gave readily. This bastard I'd hunt and bring down myself.

She looked back at me, tears runing down her bruised face. "Hold me," she said.
