His hood over his head, Zelgadiss watched with emotionless eyes as the fiery-haired girl before him finished yet another plate of roast beef. Lina flashed a grin at the chimera before ordering a third round of food much to the dismay of the waiters.
Leaning his cheek upon a hand, the cursed youth shook his head; he could scarcely believe that the greedy bandit killer opposite of him was the very sorceress who destroyed Shaburanigdu and saved the entire world. A rare smile touched his lips as memories ran through his mind.
Lina thumping him upon his back, naming him as her personal bodyguard.
Lina dying from a blast of Kopii Rezo's, before miraculously returning to kick the latter's ass.
Lina standing triumphantly upon a charred bandit, clutching a bag of treasures.

Sitting upon the soft grass, Lina gazed up at the azure blue sky, her fiery red eyes closed in relaxation.
"Ne, Zel…"
The chimera next to her pulled his hood back. "Hm?"
"Have you ever wondered what you would do after finding your cure?"
Silence filled the air, as a breeze whipped the bandit killer's hair about.
"I never gave much thought about it." Averting his head, Zelgadiss looked far beyond the
field calmly.
Running a gloved hand through her tousled hair, the fiery-haired sorceress stared sadly at the grass before her. "I see."
"However, I wouldn't mind exploring the world along with you." The cursed youth's head remained averted.
The smile on Lina's face was beautiful, almost radiant.
