Cronus lingered at his damaged painting with a dark glance to the knotted destiny, while the coming future would be excellent for those of his kind, he still did not like the trials the princesses would have to go through. Sighing, he dipped his fingers in the tangled mess his message had become and worked to soothe those wrinkled roads, studiously unwinding vast threads, mostly his own. Cronus may be the weaver's envoy, but he was a father first, and had no want to tempt the woman who was his wife with the notes of disaster that would fall upon his daughter. However, seconds later he stopped, caressing his daughter's image in the painting as he saw her happiness there in the future as well. Sighing once more he straightened and turned from the painting leaving it slightly worn from all the interference. "Be happy my dears, and sweet princess you may have to forgive me, I want what is best for my daughter's happiness." His pleaded with the empty air. Turning once more to the painting he tilted his head sorrowfully, and sighed for the final time. "Though if it's any consolation, it was destined from the start to be this way, even before your lunar birth cycle and so shall it continue even if your heart is led astray."
In a palace of gold and warmth a shrill cry split the morning glory sky travelling far reaching to the throne of Olympus. The large doors of the gilded castle slammed open and a woman of far reaching beauty stormed into the wild flowers that decorated the pathway. "Cronus you idiot, my brother how could you?" She yelled to the heavens, eyes of demented sapphires peering into the far yonder of that which could be seen. "To mess with the heart, you overstep your bounds weaver, the heart is mine and mine alone!" She thundered, whipping her gold spun hair from her face. Pulling an elegantly crafted bow from never-space she laced a heart tipped arrow into its strings and tucked her dress into her tunic lacing. "Mighty Aphrodite is going hunting," She snarled, though it did little to withdraw from her beauty. Along with her bow she pulled a luminous lavish pearl out and whispered to it. "Little princesses near or far my love tip arrows will break the scar." The words dripped from her cupid-tipped lips and the pearl shifted and swirled before showing landscape of an Asian culture. A destination before her, she vanished in a circle of golden-orange hearts and a seashell.
Aphrodite alit onto a wooden pathway, gazing every which way while huffing to herself. Though invisible due to the belief of the people no longer giving power to her she was still cautious not to bump into any of the common men and women as she made her way to her destination. Flipping her glorious hair behind her, her eyes alighted on the path she was hunting for, restringing her bow she locked it to her side while gracefully walking toward a home surrounded by wooden fencing. Leaning slightly on the fencing once she reached her destination she tapped her fingers to her chin thinking heavily about what she was going to do. "I would apologize to the young ones whose destiny I'm about to change, but I will not leave them lonely." She mused, picking out the shapes within the house. "Besides, my daughter and god daughter deserve better than what fate had directed me to overlook." Aphrodite stated, fingers gliding down to grab the bow. "Though I will probably, well maybe apologize for the tears I'm about to bring, but Cronus should have left my domain alone." Aphrodite finished while bringing her bow to bare, just as the door slid open in front of her eyes.
Red hair softly waved in the bizarre wind that sung through the doorway, eyes narrowed in suspicion as the person felt the air being off. Subconsciously the stance changed from open and relaxed to tense with fingers wrapping around a hilt. Noting that something was setting off the senses but unable to see anything caused the body to shift in front of the doorway, blocking and guarding the others inside the house. Seconds later, they could swear there had been an impact to the chest, and a sparkle of warmth flooding through their body, but nothing could be seen.
Aphrodite shook her head as she saw her target tense up, possibly sensing her presence, but she had a job to do, and others to change. Luckily her target did not believe in Grecian or Roman pantheons, so she was safe from discovery. Smirking slightly she strung her true love arrow to her bow and aimed right for the red head's heart. Kissing her firing fingers while stroking the arrow straight she felt her power wrap her arrow. Winking she let the arrow fly and watched as it impacted the person before shifting into the house before her. Shuffling around, she found her second target angrily yelling at a young boy and shook her head. Muttering to herself that wasn't very ladylike she notched another arrow, and acknowledged that at least this target was getting the better end of the second deal. Her arrow made purchase with the second target which caused them to stop yelling and brush their chest. With herself made mission done in this dimension she chuckled slightly and popped over to her daughter's dimension. A small thought to the previous dimension of feeling her daughter's energy as well as her god daughter's.
Minako popped her head up and soon as she felt familiar energy flitter passed her senses. "Momma?" She queried gazing out the window and causing Artemis to startle. Sure enough warm golden energy swept passed Minako in a hug before settling in front of the young blonde. "Momma, why are you here, and how?" She asked. Her mother just grinned and wrapped the befuddled Venusuvian Warrior in a hug.
"My little heart, my precious little heart, I have missed you." Aphrodite mumbled, wrapping warm arms through her daughter's hair. "I cannot stay long, Hades giving me little time to do the mission I have been given, but I just had to see you my little heart." She cried out softly. Minako blinked confused but responded to the hug with a small smile. "You were so right those so many years ago, I go to correct the oversight now, and chin up my darling your curse will not last forever." Aphrodite prodded. Minako tilted her head in confusion while tears slid down her mothers' shoulder enjoying the small moment she could have with her past mother. "Now my little heart I have to fix the Crystal Millennium's love-line." Aphrodite stated while wiping tears from her daughter's face. "Be strong My Little Heart, and know I love you no matter what, not even death changes that." Aphrodite swore, then turned to orange-yellow hearts and flew past her daughter brushing the last tear away.
"Mom, what do you mean?" Minako questioned to the empty air, her worried eyes resting on Artemis who looked shocked and worried as well. "Momma, are you going to hurt Usagi?" She also asked, but the air offered no words to her questions. Worrying her lips between her teeth she quickly grabbed Artemis and hopped out her window dashing to her princess's house.
Mamoru flicked an eyebrow up at the light show that appeared before him, his teacup listing against pursed lips. "Aphrodite, why are you here?" His deep tenor echoed in question. Aphrodite shook her head, kissed her fingers to her lips and then tossed a strange colored spell his way. Without blinking he shifted into Endymion's armor and spun out of the way of the lights. "Explain yourself goddess!" He barked hands darting for his sword and raising it to his face blocking another range of lights. Aphrodite frowned and then summoned up a chain of red hearts in a whip like form.
"If I had more time Endymion, I'd be more than pleased to explain myself, but time I do not have so stay still!" Aphrodite roared before the chain of hearts wrapped around the Earth prince and stopped him. "Believe me, I may have not liked you matched with my god daughter, I also cannot say you have treated her well, but I'd be damn before I'd cause her grief anytime." Aphrodite swore. Tapping her fingers to her lips again, golden light tinted with black and blue grew at her kiss. Once it reached heart-shape she flung it at the bound prince with a tight growl. "Trust me Endymion if it wasn't for me in the first place you would never have kissed those lips at all, but what the queen wants the queen gets." Aphrodite avowed, walking close to the bound prince who was currently soaking in the light show he was hit with from her. Leaning close to him, her lips brushing his ears and she grinned. "Though the White Queen is no longer in charge princeling, and if you would have treated my god-daughter well maybe I wouldn't take so much enjoyment in this, then again at least you will end up happy at the end." Aphrodite affirmed. Then to finish the spell she pressed her lips to the bound prince and summoned her chain back. "At least you are cute princeling, but King you definitely will not be, your ego has grown far too much, become humble you will." Aphrodite attested against him lips. "Be a good toy for me." She wished and winked before vanishing from his sight.
"What did she do?" Endymion mumbled while settling back into Mamoru. Confused he rested his own fingers on his tingling lips. "Why do I feel I'm going to regret this moment for the life of forever?" He wondered. Shrugging the situation off, he leaned back onto his couch and picked up his tea. The thought to call his princess did not even enter his head as he pondered what had just transpired.
Aphrodite perched on her god-daughter's window and winked at Luna who had whirled around to face her. Gently she pushed open the window, flicked her hand at the wide awake guardian sending her to sleep before switching her twinkling gaze to the sleeping princess. Smiling while shaking her head, she strolled to the side of the bed while sliding her hand up the bedspread. Fondly she brushed the silvery-blond hair from resting eyes and leaned down to Usagi's face. "I promise you'll be happy my second daughter, unlike the past millennium, and you'll be free." Aphrodite promised. As she leaned closer to the sleeping princess a naughty thought crossed her mind. A bubble of pink hearts slipped from her open lips and slipped into the slightly open lips of the princess. "Though I see you as a second daughter, I'm going to give you the gift of eternal beauty like my daughter and to do that…"She simpered softly and pressed gentle lips to Usagi. A glow passed between the two before she pulled swiftly away. "Maybe I'll share that memory with Eros?" She muttered in question. Sweetly smiling Aphrodite pulled the covers up and covered her god daughter's shoulders. "Sweet dreams god daughter." Aphrodite wished. Her mission done she transported back to her own realm to watch the drama unfold.
"I was always a sucker for tragedy and true romance, though true romance only comes to those who love fully and happily." Aphrodite pipped to the empty air before settling into her red love seat.
Minako panted as she stood before her princess's door, knocking frantically she impatiently waited for someone to open the doors. Before anyone could open the door and admit her passage, she was kidnapped from the doorstep. Just as Shingo opened the door and gazed around in confused anger. Struggling Minako freed herself from her kidnapper grabbed her henshin pen and whirled on her captor only to stop in confusion. "Setsuna, what the hell was that about?!" Minako screeched out.
"Calm down Minako, I'll explain." Setsuna vouched. Minako huffed, dropped her arms and plopped down on the couch that she was standing by when she was whisked here. "You cannot interfere with what Aphrodite is doing." Setsuna rebuked, and that caused Minako to rise up.
"Are you serious?!" Minako roared ignoring the fact that the other outers could be home. "You know any of these outcomes will destroy the princess!" Minako growled out.
"Enough!" Setsuna scolded and Minako sneered back but slammed her lips closed. "Trust us Minako, and if not us, then me, I would not allow our princess to get hurt." Setsuna deposed, and Minako winced. "I do not wish this situation at all to happen, but it's our future that's crumbling and the timelines have become tangled." Setsuna informed while sitting down in the chair across from the couch. Minako followed her lead and settled down on the couch again, crossing her arms while almost glaring at the time senshi. "The only way we SURVIVE, and that's including our princess, is if we go through this." She said while her eyes saddened before the love senshi.
"Tell me everything." Minako stated and Setsuna nodded while beginning her explanation of the situation as she knows it at the moment.
Usagi woke with a yawn as she stretched from her weird dreams. Shaking her head she tilted it slightly as she could swear sweet whispers taunted her ears. Shrugging she slipped from her bed and stumbled to her closet, acknowledging slightly that Luna was still asleep. "Weird," She mumbled while entering into the bathroom. Minutes later she came out with a robe wrapped around her staring dazedly at her shirt clutched in her hand. "Pretty sure that fit last week." Usagi declared while shuffling through her dresser. Sighing that she needed to do laundry, she grabbed a day kimono and decided to wear that instead. Changing she brushed her hair and felt like ignoring her buns for now and instead to just gaze into the mirror across from her. "I feel so wacky today." She uttered. Shrugging once more, she brushed her fingers through her fringe and starred at the locket glittering on the counter. Grabbing up the star locket she pressed a soft kiss to it and smiled softly. "I haven't called Mamoru today; I should now that will make me feel better." She maundered.
Cheerfully skipping to her pink cased phone she popped it open while ignoring the dangling bunny charm and punched in the number she knew by heart. Humming she waited out the rings until she would hear her dear prince's voice.
Mamoru blinked slowly when the harsh sound of the phone broke through his thoughts. Glancing at the black cellphone vibrating for all its power beside him his eyes trailed to the name revealed on the LCD screen and pursed his lips. Feeling lethargic he merely sighed and flipped his eyes back his book. He felt unnecessarily unconcerned with the call and went back to his book ignoring the once joyful ring of his phone.
Usagi blinked as the phone went to voicemail, before shrugging and instead decided to visit instead. She bit the inside of her cheek in concern while eyeing her phone before sighing and walking to were her shoes were resting. Picking them up a light purple portal appear beneath her, and she only had a second to screech before plummeting and the portal snapping shut behind her.
