Constant Reminders

He tells himself that he does not mind the fact that he cannot feel the raindrops that fall on his face. He is not jealous when his older brother stuffs himself with food, and he does not wonder what the food tastes like. He also does not feel uncomfortable when the company he's with is delighted from the current weather that they are blessed with. He tells himself that he does not mind. Everyday, he reminds himself that things so trivial do not matter; but in the end, everyone knows that it's the simple things in life that matter most.
