Song of the Fallen Angels.
Disclaimer: don't own anything except the poem.
Summery; when Vader's mask goes up, the fallen angels sing.
I got this idea when I was watching Revenge of the Sith (for the 2nd time). Do you remember the music when Vader sat up? It reminded me of fallen angels, so, um, hence the poem, began at 9 at night and finished at 6 in the morning.
Please read, and thank yous to all who review.
Song of the Fallen Angels.
The dark song is sung
By the fallen angels
Cast down from the heavens
For what, only heaven tells
They sing when the Day wanes
And before the Night is born
They sing when dark arises, kisses the land
With bleeding hearts and spirits torn.
Their songis of hate
Seething with anger
At the gods, at Fate
For denying them a cure
To heal their bleeding hearts
And spirits torn
Day is waning
Night is born.
Their song is of horror
The terror, the fear
Echoing in all mortal souls
For all mortals to hear.
Their song is of jealousy
Twisting the hearts of men
Into dark, ugly versions
Of who they should have been.
Their song is of sorrow
The deep, haunting grief
Stabbing and slashing deep
Beyond all mortal belief.
Their song is of pain
Born from the grief, the anger, the hate
Chilling as the winter rain
Creeping darkness, sealing Fate.
Hear the song of the fallen angels
Those who have walked with open eyes and seen
The blood-tinged, fiery, lightless hells
The darkness where light should have been.
Well . . . did you like it?
