Walter stood before Seras's room, there to deliver her evening meal of medical blood. He raised a hand to knock on the door, but paused as he heard voices from the other side.
"After trying it myself, Officer Victoria, I must concede that you are correct. The advantages to doing things the way you've suggested have become quite clear. You have successfully converted me to your way of thinking."
"That's so great! Thank you, Sir Integral!"
"You're most welcome. I must also add that your idea as to what to do with my clothing during this time was not only effective, but added substantial entertainment value to this affair."
Walter hesitated, wandering if this was, perhaps, not a good time. He gingerly tapped on the door.
"Come in," Seras's cheerful voice responded.
He had been anticipating several different sights as he opened the door. However, he had not quite imagined the scene that met his eyes.
Seras looked at him and blushed slightly as he stared at them, biting her lip. Integral just put her hand on her hip and chewed slightly on her cigar. "What is it, Walter?"
"I've merely come to give Miss Victoria her supper." He debated internally for a moment before asking the question that was hot on his mind. "If I may be so bold, why is it that you and Seras are wearing one another's clothing?"
"Oh, that," Integral replied. "I was just trying to find out if this skirt truly made doing things as awkward as Seras has claimed."
"Ah, I see." Walter said, "but, my lady, that doesn't explain why Seras is wearing your suit."
"Well, I didn't have any hangers," Seras stated, "and I didn't want her suit to get wrinkled. So, I figured this might keep it better than setting it down someplace."
"Very well, then." He set down the bag on the room's table. "Enjoy your dinner, Miss Victoria," he told her as he headed back toward the door.
"Walter," Integral said before he reached the threshold.
"Yes, Sir Integral?"
"I would like to speak with you about getting Seras some trousers."
