Disclaimer: I don't own Gravitation or Petrarch's sonnet 189

This was done for an assignment - comparing the two songs and uh, I'm bad at poems :P

Reverberate

A voice echoing oblivious melody sings

Repeated silent screams of the emptiness

Among production and the audience,

The songwriter, no, enemy fire, covers words;

By piece, a chorus of inane and innate psyche

A sense of shun for concerts and it's representation;

The refrain, erupting everlasting cries,

Of wrecked aspiration, dream devastation;

The scatter of sheets, a page of my contempt

Ripping and erasing the ever fading worn words

Built from trash, snarled with naivete.

Invisible is the heart to this song of mine;

Forgotten in the lyrical haste with taste,

And I, despondent of the nearing performance.
