An Izzy Easter

'What's this?' Hawkeye asked.

'It looks like an egg,' BJ replied. 'Look, here's another one.'

'What, you guys never heard of the Easter Bunny?' Izzy asked. She was sitting cross legged on a crate near the stove, watching their reactions to the eggs around the Swamp.

'Yeah, but what's the Easter rabbit doing in Korea?' Hawkeye asked.

'Wondering why it was drafted, like everyone else,' BJ replied.

'Come on, don't tell me you guys don't celebrate Easter over here,' Izzy said.

'I think Father Mulcahy holds an extra long service,' BJ said thoughtfully. 'Why would we celebrate Easter here, anyway?'

'You celebrate everything else,' Izzy said. 'Christmas, birthdays, anything to break up the boredom.'

'So you did this?' Hawkeye asked. Izzy nodded enthusiastically.

'I spent all this morning going to Korean houses in the area looking for fresh eggs,' she said. 'I thought they might be a nice change from the powdered ones we usually get.' Hawkeye and BJ both grinned.

'Fresh eggs?' BJ asked. Izzy nodded.

'Do you know how long it's been since I had something not from a can?' Hawkeye asked BJ. He stood up and gave Izzy a hug. 'Thanks, Izzy, it's a great Easter present.'
