Chapter 3. Mwa.
I finally finished a chaptered fic. I am proud.
Yes, I know it's only a 3-chapter drabblefic, but still. A finished chapterfic of only 300 words is... well, actually... that's pretty sad. XD
Oh, and Silently Broken - the whole ficu is about Bakura Ryou, who is called Bakura-kun by his friends. It seemed as though you thought chapter 2 was about the Spirit of the Ring, aka Yami Bakura, etc. Just thought I'd let you know. Everything I write is Japanese-manga-verse, so perhaps it is a little confusing.

3 - Realism

The child was quite interesting - he was one of the few true realists. He always smiled and hoped for the best in public; but in private, he would frown and prepare for the worst, his intelligent side making him unable to be truly oblivious to it.
And yet... when all was said and done, there would still be the gears turning in the back of his mind assessing the true likelihood of any given outcome. His optimism gave him home, his pessimism cynicism. He was a true realist.
How do I know? I'm the other half of his soul.
