Chapter 5: Adventures in Baby Sitting

"You should have seen it! Dash went-"

"I went whoosh! Then Vi-"

"I stayed invisible til Dash was in the-"

"Vi, sucked that ugly ghost monster right in the thermos!"

Danny, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker stood in the door way of Fenton's home, jaws dropped. The two excited kids continued to describe their first ghost battle to their parents as well as Danny's. They didn't seem the least bit annoyed with each other as they kept interrupting each other.

"Aren't they just fantastic, Daniel?" sneered Mayor Vlad Masters.

"Ah-"

"Danny! You and Jazz wouldn't mind staying here with kids would?" interrupted Jack Fenton.

"I don't kno-"

"Danny and I would be delighted to stay here," Jazz said, "we could show them how the op center works as well as show them the lab downstairs."

"That's great idea Jazmine." Beamed Jack.

"Now we won't be long. We are just going to show Mr. and Mrs. Incredible around town with...Vlad." Maddie said giving the mayor an evil stare.

"Violet, Dash please keep an eye on Jack-Jack while we are away. And please listen to Jazz and Danny." Mrs. Incredible said as she was walking out door with the Fentons and Mayor Masters. Danny and Jazz looked at each other, thinking the same thing. We don't have time baby-sit them! We to know what Vlad is up too! We-

"Jack, Maddie. I do believe you should activate the ghost shield, that way this adorable baby will be protected from ghosts." Vlad said with sincere smile.

"Sure thing Vladdy." Jack said with big grin on his face, as he walked out the door. Before Vlad left with the others he pulled Danny aside.

"Now Daniel, I don't want you getting ideas about following me. If you step out from the shield I might have to give the Incredible, a very credible hit as to where Danny Phantom lives." Vlad said with an evil grin. Danny gritted his teeth, his eyes quickly changing from sky blue to electric green. "Come now, you don't want the Incredible kids finding out who you are." And with that Vlad walked through the door, gently closing it. He moved to the window, and saw the green shield rain down from outside. But what he didn't see was Vlad splitting himself in two, the submissive half was walking with the Fentons. The dominate half of evil ghost was phasing in to the basement lab.

Violet and Dash stood there staring at Jazz, Sam, and Tucker who stared right back. Danny was looking out the window, and Jack-Jack was crawling away from all of them.

"Well, which do you want to see first the Op-center or the lab?" Jazz asked them.

"Let's see the op-center first." Violet responded.

"Hey, Vi. Where did Jack-Jack go?" her younger brother asked. The group of teens glanced around, and the baby was nowhere in sight.

"Jack-Jack." Violet calls out, "Dash can you check the house see where he went."

"Yep!" Dash said as he ran down the hall.

"Got him! I found him in your room." Dash said to Jazz, "Hey was in your room listening to, what is that music his old baby sitter used to play for him?"

"Classical...Oh no." Violet went pale, she stared at her brothers.

"Vi...GAH!" Dash dropped his brother who just set himself on fire. Tucker gave a small scream, Jazz and Sam looked at him and the the baby who was no longer on fire but phasing through the floor.

"Come we got to get to the lab." Jazz ordered. They all followed the red headed teen to the basement lab.

Vlad Plasmius was standing in front of the portal to the Ghost Zone, just as the door slide back revealing the glowing green world of ghosts, he heard a giggling baby. The evil ghost turned around and didn't see anything in the floor behind, but then he heard the sound of laughter again. This time he looked above him, a mix of shock and amusement crossed his face as he saw the youngest of the Incredible kids phase through the ceiling of the lab. Jack-Jack looked down at the ghost laughing and then floated right down to him. Vlad caught the happy baby.

"My, my what-"

"Put him down, Plasmuis!" Danny shouted from the foot of the stairs, with the older Incredible kids at his side. Sam, Tucker, and Jazz stood behind him.

"Well, I wasn't expecting this powerful little guy to land in my hands. I think I will take him with me to the Ghost Zone, and just see how powerful he is." Vlad said with a grin. Jack-Jack just smiled and waved at the kids on the other side of the lab.

"You will do no such thing! Dash!" Violet yelled, just had her brother ran full force toward Plasmius. But Vlad was quicker, throwing up a force field.

BAM!

Poor Dash couldn't stop fast enough, he flew back from the force, and his sister caught him with her powers.

"Dash! Wake up Dash!" Violet yelled.

"Well, this has been fun but we must get going." Vlad said as he flew with Jack-Jack in the green portal.

"NO!" Violet screamed as she ran after him.

"Violet, wait!" Danny yelled running toward her. "You can't go in there!"

"I have to! I have to save Jack-Jack!" She cried.

"I know but you don't what it is like in there. But we do. We'll save Jack-Jack together." Danny reassured her. "Sam, Tucker get the specter speeder ready. Jazz you stay here with Dash. And if their parents return distract them."

"Thank you Danny." Violet said.

"Don't thank me yet." Danny replied.

"We're ready!" Tucker shouted from inside the speeder. Violet and Danny got in to the speeder. jazz picked up Dash and head up stairs to get some ice for the large welt that was from on his head.

"Danny, are you sure we should take her? You won't be able to use your powers." Sam whispered.

"No. But it is her brother and she knows more how to get his powers under control than we do. I don't think Jack- Jack is part of whatever Vlad has planned, so I might not have use them." Danny explained. Violet looked at the three teens in the front of the speeder. They were hulled together and speaking to low for her to hear, but she had a feeling the knew somethingabout this ghost that they weren't telling her. She would have put them in a force field bubble and make them tell her, but she need there help to get Jack-Jack back.

Tucker started the speeder, and with in seconds they were in the Ghost Zone.
