Finally, a Baten Kaitos section! I do have an angsty story planned, but for that you'll have to wait until the end of the semester. For now-retarded humor!
Riki cheers
Shut up, Riki.
It had been a hard day. The group, consisting of Kalas, Xelha, Lyude and Gibari had just arrived in town, after ridding numerous palaces of numerous evil people. Who had guns. For now, they rested in an inn. Kalas shared with Lyude and Gibari, and Xelha had a room of her own because she's oh-so-special. Gibari was out at the moment, probably getting drunk because that's what oar wielding fishermen who hang out with people half their age do.
"Damnit, my back hurts!" Kalas griped, while trying unsuccessfully to get at the spot on his back that was causing him pain.
Lyude looked up from cleaning his incredibly gay looking weapons. "Didn't you, like, get shot or something? Maybe that's why."
"Why do you stupid imperials use guns, anyway? They're lame." Kalas laid down on his stomach in an attempt to take weight off his back.
"Would you rather us use whips, like that Folon guy? He's so totally an SM wannabe." Lyude rolled his eyes.
"Hey, at least he's not making up for something by using…never mind." Kalas trailed off.
"Excuse me? By using what? You're the one using giant swords, with a metal wing!" Lyude bristled.
"Hey, it's not like-OW!" Kalas had tried to sit up, but fell back down, the pain in his back overwhelming.
Lyude relaxed, and grew concerned. "Here, let me see that." He walked over to where Kalas was laying.
"What? Why? I'm fine, go away!" Kalas tried to shuffle off the bed, but in vain.
"Dude, there's a bullet in your back." Lyude held Kalas down and tried to examine it. "Yep, I'm gonna have to remove that."
Kalas's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "What!"
Gibari was walking back to his room when he heard the commotion.
"What are you going to do with that!" Kalas's voice, sounding rather panicked.
"Just cooperate and it won't hurt!" That was Lyude.
"I'm not into that sort of thing! Go away!" Muffled thumps were heard. "OW!"
"Don't make me hold you down!" Gibari was surprised at how demanding Lyude sounded.
"Damn you! That hurts!"
"It won't for long. You'll feel better, trust me."
Gibari heard a surprisingly high pitched shriek. "NO, I don't want to…!"
Gibari had heard enough. He walked away, shaking his head. "That Lyude…shoulda guessed."
Within the room, Kalas lay on his stomach cursing while Lyude held up a pair of tongs with a bullet. "See? That wasn't so bad."
Stupid, I know, but I love BK and if I don't have the time to write angst, humor is the next best thing. Peace.
