Disclamer: I don't own Fullmetal Alchemist or any of their characters, ideas, blah blah. The same goes for Yu-Gi-Oh! I do own Vic, though. He's me, so I'm allowed to do that. And I guess I own any of the other characters in here that aren't part of Fullmetal Alchemist.

"Is he dead?"

"Unless he can survive being turned to stone, he is."

"Good...And, no one knows you were even in the building?"

"Well, one person saw me..."

"And?"

"Stone."

"You like that little trick, don't you?"

Vic watched the heavy rain pelt the sidewalk as though heaven itself had opened its flood gates. It was hard to imagine exactly how he had come to be arrested in the first place. As of present he was waiting patiently inside the police vehicle, trying to recall what had happened that morning...

He had awoken during the very early morning; when it was still pitch black out. Dawning his usual colorful attire, charred black shirt with jet black pants and a soot black coat, Vic made his way out the entrance of the Lustport Inn and wandered down the sidewalk absorbing the cool air before the scorching sun rose and sucked it all away. Of course this brief moment of blissful peace hadn't lasted long, and it was the sound of blaring police sirens and rampaging foot steps that broke the serenity.

"You are arrested for the murder of Jonah Vanyes."

Vanyes...His father...Vic's eyes watered at the thought of him, partially because he had shunned his father years ago. Vic had always hated the misuse of Alchemy, and his father would not be the exception to the rule...

Vic was jarred from his day dream by the thud of a heavy oak door belonging to the small bick office outside. He watched as the officer who had arrested him strode towards the car, finally peering in through the window of the driver's seat.

"Looks like they want you inside," the gruff cop voiced.

"Why?" Vic replied. It was obvious, but he needed a couple more seconds.

"Question you," he snorted impatiently.

Vic stepped out of the white vehicle. "Alright..."

As the officer turned towards the building, the last things he heard were a click and a clap before losing consiousness and gaining a few memorable scars.

Yey, you like? Not sure how well this is turning out. I just hope that it isn't too boring or becomes so.
