She glanced behind her, then back at the redhead.
It was a long way down.
Yuffie rubbed anxiously at the yellow orb in her bracelet. The shine of mastered steal materia did little to ease the jitters that fluttered in her stomach. She turned to the nothingness once more. "I… I just…"
Reno pulled up behind her and began to push her forward with him, towards the edge. They stopped, and Yuffie leaned back into the comfort of him, a solid being, against her.
" 'Sall or nothin', Yuff." Hands around her waist, he peered over her shoulder and down into the jaw of a precipice. "I won't go if you don't."
"But… you really want to."
She felt him shrug.
"Falling alone," he stared out into the emptiness, "doesn't mean anything anymore." A quiet wind caused a few strands of her fine brown hair to brush his cheek. "It's different now."
"…Oh…" she said.
And he knew she was smiling.
"Well," she moved to hug him tightly, "then lets fly, Turkey. Let's fl—iieehhHHEEE!"

The harness jerked and "TURKEEEY-EY-EY-EY!" could be heard echoing off the canyon walls.
End.
My first Reffie.
