Sixteen years has passed since the ceremonial battle.

Life went on for Yugi Moto and most of his companions. Yugi returned to high school. Since he

defeated Atem and became World Champion, he was never bullied again. He maintained close

ties with Joey, Tea, and Tristan. He entered college and received his degree in

History/Archeology. He married Rebekah Hopkins and has two children Rebekah 10 years

old and Yugi 5 years old. They live and run the Game shop since Solomon Moto and

Professor Hopkins passed away. After graduating from high school, Joey played Duel

Monsters full time. He is the third ranking duelist next to Yugi and Seto Kaiba. He and Mai got

married and have twin sons James and Joseph 10 years old. They aquired significant wealth by

taking the prize money and investing it. Mai manages their portfolios while Joey duels. Tea

was depressed after Atem left. With her friends help, she slowly moved on. Tea planned to

finish high school and pursue her dancing career. Almost a year after Atem's departure,

Tea was diagnosed with a terminal illness. She was given 1-3 months to live. The Gardner's

were devastated, since Tea is their only child. They heard of a experiment where a person

could be placed in hibernation and kept alive until a cure could be found. Also, she will remain

sixteen years old, because the chamber prevents any ageing. One day, Tea was given a

sedative and placed inside the chamber. Sixteen years have passed, and she is still asleep.

Yugi and the gang visited Tea everyday afterschool. Tristan entered the police academy once

he graduated. He is now a motorcycle cop. He and Serenity are married and have three

children Taro aged 10, Jiro age 7, and Kohana age 5. Duke found great success with his

Dungeon Dice Monsters Game and still runs his own game shop. He is still single not wanting

to settle down. Seto and Mokuba Kaiba are still at Kaiba Corporation. Mokuba is Vice-

President of Marketing and overseas all of the Kaiba Land Theme Parks around the world. He

married his high school sweetheart Tani . She is pregnant with their second child. Their

daughter Taniko is 4 years old and just learning to play Duel Monsters. Seto Kaiba is still the

number 2 duelist. After all the theme parks were built, he started his next venture opening

duelist training schools global. All of the team's school aged children are attending the one in

Domino and are top duelists. Seto Kaiba married Kisara. She is the reincarnation of the same

Kisara back in Ancient Egypt. Their son Seto is 12 years old and is arrogant as his father. Ryo

became an archeologist like his father and married his college girlfriend Victoria. They

currently run the Domino Musuem. Their son Kiyoshi is 5 years old. Isis and Rishid are

married and work on behalf of the Egyptian government. They have no children. Malik Ishtar

has spent the last 16 years completing his education. He just graduated from the University of

Cairo and is in Domino on his vacation. It is a graduation gift from Isis and Rishid. A new

adventure is about to begin.

Tenma Yakou took over Industrial Illusions after his brother Pegasus died. He

discovered the old paintings his brother made of the 3 gods. He decided to mass produce the

god cards to replace the old ones. The remnants of Malik's rare hunters attempting to regain

their former glory went to Duelist Kingdom and stole the 3 card prototypes and Pegasus' old

paintings to prevent any competition. Two of them without consulting the others decided to try

them out on unsuspecting duelists. They decided to travel by boat and try them out in Japan.
