Cale and Akima stood at the top of a cliff on New Earth. The drifter colony had just landed and the Titan had accomplished its mission and self-destructed. All was good in the world.
"Hey, what's that?" asked Akima.
Cale looked up to see a Drej planet-killer looming in the sky, blocking out the sun. It charged its main weapon. "Oh shit!"
