A/N: Inspired dragontai by who replied to my Ron/Hermione story and said she would like a Harry/Ginny story. Well here it is.
Harry knows what everyone sees when they look at him.
They see a hero, the boy who lived, the boy who defeated he-who-must-not-be-named. They don't see the pain he feels or the loneliness, and if they do they ignore it. The boy who lived doesn't need comfort and shouldn't seek it.
Ginny knows what everyone sees when they look at her.
Just another bloody Weasley with the hair and the freckles and the unabashed laugh. She wishes she was the one and only, that she didn't have her family looming over her, that she was an individual and not tied to her name.
Harry doesn't have to go looking for comfort, he finds it wrapped up in Ginny; he doesn't have to be brash or brave to keep her with him. And Ginny doesn't have to conform, doesn't have to be just another Weasley, she's the girl who won Harry Potter's heart but she also more than that, she's herself.
