I know sometimes these things spoil the whole good story (and this one IS good), but how about a sequel ? Even if it's just a shot one...PLEASE ?

Okay, I've been wanting to add more to this story.. so im gona add 1 incy wincy lil "epilogue2"

Eve, this 1s for you! (see ch 4) let's just say it's a whole different perspective to how Nat was sent 30yrs back in time.

EPILOGUE 2:

[July 27th 2031]

Daniel wanted to stop and hug Natalie with all his might. Unlike her, he knew what fate had in store for her. He knew she wasn't the same girl he knew all those years ago.. well not yet anyway. All he had to do was dial the gate and send her through it, so she could go back in time and change Sg-1's lives forever. Countless times Daniel thought about not sending Nat through the gate, changing the course of history forever. But he figured that if he didn't, then she would die on the base, along with everyone else. Sending her through would prolong her life, for a while. He looked at the short brunette and he couldn't believe that it was her that sacrificed herself and destroyed the majority of the replicators.

"Nearly everyone's already gone through the gate, and everyone who hasn't has been killed! You go to the gate room, and I'll dial the alpha site," Nat said quickly, pushing Daniel towards the spiral staircase that led down to the gate room. Daniel didn't budge. "What are you doing!? GO!" She yelled, but Daniel still didn't budge. Daniel took Nat's hand off his shoulder and wrapped his hands around hers. He looked as if her had something else to say.

"Nat, I'll dial the gate. You go to the gate room." He stood and watched her run to the gate room. He wished he could tell her more, about what to expect on the other side.

Daniel felt the room light up behind him. "You know you can't do that. Can you imagine how different things would turn out if I knew that I was about to be sent back in time."

Daniel turned around to see who was speaking to him. "Natalie?" he whispered in awe. "How!" Daniel looked back into the gate room and saw his student, Natalie Manslow, standing anxiously in the gate room. He looked back behind him, at Nat, his girlfriend who sacrificed herself for him, and Earth. She had a white aura around her and she smiled brightly.

"Don't look so confused Danny boy! Teal'c wasn't when I came to help him ascend," Nat smiled.

"You're the Natalie that died.. for me.. us," Daniel's eyes became watery. "You ascended?"

Natalie smiled. "Yes. And I've been keeping an eye on you and the others the last 30 years," Nat smiled. She then put on a serious face. "Daniel, there's no time. You have to dial the gate now."

Daniel did as Natlaie said, and he dialed the alpha site. Three Jaffa entered the control room and Daniel called out to his young student to run through the gate. He managed to see her go through the gate before being knocked down by one of the jaffa. "What is the address of the alpha site!?" The Jaffa yelled at Daniel. Daniel fell to his knees. He wasn't afraid because he could see Natalie watching him. Daniel started laughing.

"You mock me, human?" The jaffa replied sternly. Daniel continued to laugh.

"Yes, I do mock you! She didn't go to the alpha site. And No, I'm not going to give you the address for the alpha site!" Daniel laughed. The Jaffa aimed his staff weapon at Daniel's face. Daniel continued to laugh.

"Daniel, we're all waiting for you. You know what to do," Natalie whispered in his hear. Even though Daniel could see her, with her bright aura warming his face, the Jaffa couldn't.

"Do you think dying is funny, old man!? Maybe you should be used as a host then!" The Jaffa yelled. Daniel laughed even harder and pointed at the computers.

self-destruct in 10 seconds

"You know what's funny? What's funny is you're all going to hell," Daniel laughed. The Jaffa started to walk backwards, away from Daniel.

Natalie put her hand on Daniel's shoulder. "I missed you so much!" She cried. Daniel felt his body relax and start to glow. The Jaffa shielded their eyes as Daniel ascended. As he floated through the roof, the base exploded.
