I had to try and get ahead of you, to reach out – somehow – to tell you thank you for all of your reviews. I have been working on the other stories but your reviews, your words, they have reminded me how much I loved this story myself. How much this world had been a refuge in the time that I lost my own Skyla, the woman who saved me from myself – a young child who didn't understand herself and the world around her.
