Sorrow of a Keeper of Time and Space
I live alone, standing in darkness, the mist of fate
carressing the self, I hear a whisper in the wind, the
wind carressing my name. I smile in hope as
light fills my being, warming the self breaking the
chisled mask I wear with the smile of a child. I
reach out hoping to be embrassed, hoping to be loved,
and needing that in which another can offer. The
light slowly fades, I try to run, try to reach it, yet
the mist holds me as if it were a rope. I scream,
tears flooding my hardening face, the mask of sorrow
hardening with eash tear. I try to scream, to beg,
yet my voiceis hoarse. Pain fills me, the mist
steelily grip tightening with everybursting sob. I
stand in darkness, alone, chisled in stone. Unable to
feel, unable to care or love, unable to cry out from
the pain I feel deep inside. My fate is this and as
the mist of fate swirls around the self, taunting it
with its carress, and promeses, and lies. In the mist
I slowy die away leaving nothing but a stone shell.
