A note on time:  You will notice that this story adheres to the timeline where 29 August 1997 is Judgment Day.  It assumes that some or all of the events of Terminator 2:  Judgment Day and Terminator 3:  Rise of the Machines did not happen, though characters from the two sequels (Miles Dyson, Robert and Kate Brewster) will be included.  It is based loosely on my short story "Master and Creator."
