A Day Demons Would Cry

Rain drizzling,

Pouring down the crowded street,

    A lone wolf and a once-deadly dragon,

  Constantly fighting the tempest within,

  Once strong limbs moving neverendingly,

Dull eyes only remnants of past keenness,

Shadows tremble as one-time legends clash,

Painful torment always hidden, even in death,

Bitter smiles as a end comes to doomed souls,

Sun breaks through dark clouds,

Finally giving these men their greatest desire,

Something never achieved in life,

So terrifying, so vile, so bittersweet,

Love,

Not a simple love,

Nor a pure love,

But a love infallible through it's own glass-like fragility
