Author's Note: Another poem about Samurai X: Reflection. This is at the very end. I don't know, but now thta I'm depressed, I feel like writing. Maybe this will help with my writer's block.

GONE

You lie asleep on my lap,

And I pray to the world that you're only taking a nap,

But then I look at you and your scar is gone,

So are you really in the great beyond?

Why do you you have to leave me,

Especially under this sakura tree?

Though I'll be with you soon enough,

But for now it's going to be tough,

I never thought of losing you,

So please someone tell me this isn't true,

Tears fall down my cheeks like beads,

Each one for all your deeds,

I look up into the sky,

Wishing that I can die,

But I know that we'll be together soon,

Most likely under tonight's moon,

So just sleep in my lap,

And take your nap,

For when you wake again,

You'll be in Dream Land.
