(A/N): This is a one-shot. I think I'm happy with it tho…lemme know what ya think…

Hermione jerked out of her daydream. Sirius Black was standing at the front of the classroom staring at her. Hermione wondered vaguely how long he had been calling her name.

"Hermione?"

"S--sir?" Hermione squeaked.

"I said I'd like you to stay after class." Sirius said.

"O--ok." Hermione followed him into his office.

"Have a seat."

Hermione sat down nervously in the seat in front of his desk. Sirius had started teaching DADA in her sixth year after he was cleared of the charges that put him in Azkaban. Hermione had always seen him as Harry's godfather, but suddenly she found herself thinking about him more and more. Sirius leaned on his desk and stared at her. Then, he pulled a folded piece of paper out of his pocket. Hermione recognized her neat handwriting; the latter was addressed to Ginny.

Hermione paled. They had written that letter in the library the night before. She knew he'd seen them, and now he knew. He knew everything. He was still staring at her, but Hermione finally noticed the smile on his face.

Oh Gods! He thinks it's 'cute'. He's patronizing me…ugh, I want to crawl under a rock and die.

"Hermione". Sirius softly called her back from her thoughts, "You really shouldn't leave stuff like this lying around…and in the library of all places."

"I--I--Uck---Eck--" Hermione muttered wildly.

"I didn't quite catch that. English, please. I don't speak goblin." Sirius laughed.

"I…"

"Hermione, I--" Sirius stopped.

He put a finger under her chin and gently forced her to look at him. He didn't say anything for a moment, just stared at her. Then, he leaned in and dotted her lips with a soft kiss. The kiss grew in strength as she responded after a few seconds of shock. He picked her up easily and sat her on the desk. Fisting her hair in his hands at the nape of her neck, he pushed her backward onto the desk. Hermione didn't need much coaxing.

Just as suddenly as it started, the kiss stopped. Sirius' eyes popped open and he pulled himself out of her grasp. Shaking his head and muttering wildly. He paced away from her, and sharply whirled around to face her again.

"We--w--we can't! You're my student!" He stuttered.

"I graduate in a week, Sirius." Hermione said softly.

Sirius' eyes lit up. His face muscles relaxed into a slow smile. He came slowly closer to her.

"You do!" He whispered.

"Shut. Up. Kiss. Me. …You understood that English right?" Hermione was smiling, she had gotten what she'd wanted for two years, and she wasn't going to let it go.
