Note: This doesn't really make sense, but I felt like writing something
different than my usual stuff.
I am actually Hermione in this story. And two of my ex-friends are Lavender
and Parvati.
"Hermione is madly in love with Ron," said Parvati to her best friend Lavender. "Yes she is, but he has a girlfriend," said Lavender. Parvati Nodded, "and Hermione is mad with jealousy. Poor girl"
Lavender and Parvati were sitting in their dorm, talking about Hermione, and her feelings for a certain boy, Ron Weasley. She'd had a crush on Ron for a long time, but the problem was, that he already had a girlfriend. A steady girlfriend.
"I don't think she should tell him," continued Lavender, "it would only make the problem bigger. And it wouldn't be fair to his girlfriend either"
"I don't agree," Parvati said, " of course it's not fair to the girlfriend, but Hermione says she's never felt anything like this before. And you know Hermione, when she's serious about something, she's really serious."
Lavender looked at Parvati closely, and said, "Parvati, my friend. We both know how Ron is. And we know how he treats his girlfriends. He's not very attentive. And Hermione likes boys to be attentive.."
"Lavender, you don't understand. Ron is not like that. He actually CARES about his girlfriends. And besides, they have so much in common. They're both Harry Potter's sidekicks. They'd be perfect together! They can walk in the shadows hand in hand!"
"No, you don't understand! Hermione needs to move on. She's been talking about Ron for months now, and clearly he's not interested. And why would he be interested in Hermione? She's such a stupid know-it-all! "
Parvati and Lavender continued their discussion a little longer. They both knew that they shouldn't be talking about their friend like that behind her back, but the truth was that they both had miserable love lives.
Lavender's boyfriend had left her for another girl, and Lavender was still crazy about him.
Parvati had never even had a boyfriend. Her motto was 'love is nothing without tenderness' and she couldn't find a boy, who could live up to all she wanted. So she was alone.
And therefore Lavender and Parvati had nothing better to do, than sit in a room, talking about Hermione and her crush on Ron.
What they didn't know was, that at that exact same moment, Ron had just confessed to Hannah, his girlfriend, that he had fallen in love with Hermione.
This would give them more to gossip about, and they could both be happy alone, for a couple more months with these shocking news.
Who knows, with all the gossip and rumours in the world, maybe Parvati and Lavender will live happily ever after?
