Hello again, everyone. Yes, I' m back, and this time its another poem I've
had buried on my hard drive for ages and never remembered to post. Its
Dilandau/Von slash, so if you have a problem with slash its probably not a
poem for you. Not really anything heavy, however, just a little hinted
lime. Either way, I've been meaning to put it up, so now I have. Enjoy!
Oh, and the reason I finally posted it is cause Anime the Fallen Angel got
her chapter out for her Beyblade fic out so quickly. Thanks Anime, so this
one's for you! ^_~
Okay, I've uploaded it a zillion times and for some reason it won't format.
So just that you know, the poem is in four line stanzas, not actually one
big chunk, okay?
DISCLAIMER: I do not own, never have owned, and never will own Vision of
Escaflowne. Happy? Got that? Good.^_^

Unity
Sky's bright angel and Night's demon,
One sharp and cruel, one pure of heart.
From the East and West they met,
Lovers twined yet worlds apart.
The angel, son of Atlantis born,
Gifted Light's own shining wings.
Raven hair for shadow's balance,
Taking flight his life-blood sings.
The demon, cunning, cruel of heart,
Blood burning with dark desire.
Hair of moonlight, a phantom wraith,
With ruby eyes of crimson fire.
The one between to bring them closer,
But push away, deny their love.
The Black-Winged Angel, Fate's own soldier,
To unite Light's raven with Darkness' dove.
But warriors are ever fighting on,
Husband, cousin, father, brother.
Brought together in pain and fear,
But must love and hate to keep the other.
Striving always to keep the balance,
Light and Shadow, both blood-stained,
Run hand in hand along the sand,
Temporarily unrestrained.
But both know it will start again,
The fear and death, the pain of war.
Light's angel cries his mournful song,
Dark's demon sings his love and awe.
The angel's loss is hard to bear,
His heart broken and torn.
The demon calls his love of war,
For his love is the rose, and he the thorn.
But he lies within his lovers arms,
Light and Shadow make one whole.
Both combined, they lie entwined,
Joined together, heart and soul.

Well, there you have it. The product of my mind after daydreaming about too
much D/V fluff. Please review and tell me what you think, as I'd really
appreciate the feedback. But keep in mind, any flames will be laughed at,
and then given to Dilandau to keep him amused for half an hour or so.
-Dilandau- BOOYAH!
