Chapter 1

The magnificent city of Atlantis was glowing under the ocean. It wasn't just the city even the various merpeople and naiads that lived there were glowing. Today was indeed a day worthy of celebration. The sea was about to witness the birth of its second prince of the sea. Today Prince Perseus would be born. The graceful Lady Amphitrite had been pregnant for months now and today was the day the baby prince would be born. Just outside the royal chambers the king of the seas Poseidon was pacing back and forth as he waited anxiously for his beloved wife. A sudden cry from the chambers stopped the god's pacing and he rushed into the room. Laying on the bed clearly exhausted after giving birth Amphitrite was holding the newborn prince in her arms.

"Look at him milord. He looks so handsome. Takes after you no doubt." the weak queen said as she cradled the baby and she was right.

The prince had raven black hair just like his fathers and his eyes were a vibrant sea-green that just seemed to radiate intense power and intelligent despite being no more than a minute old.

"He is indeed very cute dear. Now rest up as I take care of him so that you can be ready for the coronation tomorrow. Triton also wants to meet his baby brother." Poseidon said as he took the baby out of Amphitrite's embrace.

"When will you take him to the Olympian council?" Amphitrite asked as she knew it was customary for a new god to go to Olympus in order to receive his or her domains. Gods without domains were extremely weak as they didn't have an energy source to tap into and in some extreme cases even fade away.

"I planning on waiting for a bit. Not only so that he becomes a capable warrior but also to allow him to mature a bit. I think I'll bring him to Olympus the same day Leto's twins are brought there." Poseidon said.

"Why would you want to wait for them? Wouldn't Zeus be angry that you're trying to steal attention from his kids?" Amphitrite asked nervously. Everyone knew how power hungry and egotistical Zeus could be but no one apart from Poseidon dared to say anything in case they get blasted Zeus.

"Well. I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have Percy bond with the twins. That way Zues wouldn't really be able to punish Perseus without Artemis getting angry. You know how much Zeus loves his daughters " Poseidon pointed out. There was a moment of silence before Amphitrite spoke again.

"So I guess you're going to let Perseus spend time at Delos with Letos and the twins?"

"Of course."

"Fine. But I'm letting you know right now if my son gets blasted by Zeus you will not see me again for the next two millennia."

"As if I would ever let that happen dear." Poseidon said reassuringly. "Now rest. You must be exhausted."

500 years later

Right outside the throne room of Olympus there were three figures anxiously waiting. One of them was a blonde hair teenager with blue eyes and a smile so bright it could've blinded half of Greece. Standing to the right of him was a young girl with beautiful auburn hair and startling silver eyes. In between these two was a raven haired male with sea green eyes that looked just like the surface of the ocean calm but ready to explode at any second.

The blonde teen turned and said

"C'mon Perce, Arty we become gods today! It's so exciting!" As he pushed opened the doors

The girl rolled her eyes and replied with

"Only someone as childish as you would behave like this when receiving your domains."

"Back me up on this Perce."

Percy just rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"Not fair. You're only agreeing with Arty cause she's your girlfriend." Apollo immediately ran into the middle of the throne room before the other could say anything and greeted the other gods before either Percy or Artemis could kill him.

"Father, Lord and Ladies. Percy, Artemis and I have come before the Olympian council today to receive our domains from the Fates."

"Welcome to Olympus children." Zeus boomed loudly from his throne earning himself a murderous glare from Hera sitting next to him. Swallowing nervously he continued. "We will now await the arrival of the Fates in order for them to announce your domains."

A flash of bright white light burst from the middle of the and blinded the whole room. The light faded to reveal three elderly women. All the gods present in the throne room rose and bowed respectfully to the three ladies.

"By the power given to us by our mother Ananke and the creator Chaos we the Moirai will now announce the domains of the three new gods." the three ladies said in perfect sync "Phoebus Apollo. Son of Zeus and Leto come forward."

Apolllo walked up nervously in front of the fates and knelt on one knee.

"We name the you god of Music, Medicine,Prophecy,Sun,Truth,Archery and Poetry.(Let me know if I missed any) Rise young Olympian. May your insightful domains guide Greece and Olympus into an era of peace and prosperity." As the Fates talked a new throne rose up from the ground on the side of the male gods. Apollos throne was just a solid gold throne.

"Phoebe Artemis. Daughter of Zeus and Leto come forward." Artemis like her twin nervously knelt before the Fates. "We name you the goddess of Childbirth,Virginity,Maidens,Moon,Hunting,Archery and Wild Animals." Artemis's throne rose out of the ground just like Apollo's it had two date palms on the back full moons on the back and a wolf-skin cushion to sit on.

"Perseus Apollyon. Son of Poseidon and Amphitrite. Prince of the Seas." Poseidon beamed proudly from his throne. "We name you the god of Tides,Darkness,Night,Shadows and Monsters." Percy's throne rose out of the ground as they spoke. It was a pitch black throne with sea green outlines on the edge of the throne with hellhound heads as armrests.

"Hold on!" Poseidon called out from his throne. "Why did my son get such unusual domains?"

"And why is my nephew an Olympian? Isn't 14 gods too much for the Council?" Zeus questioned quite shocked (get it?) that one of his brothers children would have such major domains and given a seat on the council. He liked to have as many children on the council as possible.

Clotho responded "Earlier today our mother appeared before saying that Chaos himself has taken dictated what domains he should have and who are we to question the creator? And besides 14 gods on the council is fine. Now if there are no further questions we will be leaving now." The three elderly women then disappeared in flash of light.

"Now that the official business is over I would like to give both of my children a gift for not being able to help them for the past few centuries. What would each of you like."

Apollo eagerly answered first "Father I would like to have a bow as my symbol of power and I would like the most modern and fashionable chariot to perform my duties as the sun god in."

"Very well. I shall get Hephaestus working on it immediately. What about you my dear Artemis."

Pondering for a moment Artemis replied with "I would like three things father. The first is a bow like my brothers but better. The second thing I ask for is your permission to travel around the country to recruit young maidens into my hunting party as companions and lastly I ask that I shall never be forced to marry a man like my sister Athena and Aunt Hestia."

"Of course daughter these are simple wishes."

A brief moment of silence later Zeus stood from his throne and dramatically announced the start of the welcoming party for the three new Olympians
