The room was bathed in darkness. Riven had just dozed off in his corner, after a tiring day taming the wild dragons, tempered by the warm air of early summer that filtered through the small window. He had left the blanket on the bottom of the bed, and lay on his back barechest.

His regular breathing sounded in the peaceful silence of the night, when a slight movement beside him made him shake in sleep. As in a dream, he felt something touch his face, like a blow of wind with a special perfume.

By now definitively awake, he decided to open his eyes and in the twilight he saw the smiling face of a female figure slightly lighted by the moon.

-Boo.-

He opened his eyes wide and his heart skipped a beat. He sat up, but a hand pressed to his chest prevented him to do that. He recognized the pale face and winced.

-Darcy...- he then glanced towards Brandon and Timmy, who slept blissfully a few meters away, in their bunk beds.

The girl let go of one of her malicious giggles, amused and satisfied for the successful surprise. -Shh ...- she hissed, placing a finger on Riven's mouth. -No one can hear us. We are protected by magic.-

Riven lost himself in Darcy's smiling face, one palm away from his, and after recovering from his fright, he felt like an idiot and was almost amused by his own reaction. Relieved that Brandon and Timmy would hear nothing thanks to the spell, he finally focused on his girlfriend. He was pleasantly surprised that she had come to Red Fountain for him, by late night and wearing only a short, sleeveless shirt that showed off her neckline. Darcy had lain beside him (as far as he knew, she could have been there for hours), and one of her legs had clung to Riven's, while her left hand wandered on his face and chest, tracing his outline with the index finger.

An irresistible vision, with no doubt.

Riven responded to Darcy's mischievous smile with an expression of appreciation, as she approached him further like a constricting snake, almost overhanging him.

-Relax, Riven ...-

Her delicate mouth slowly began to move from the boy's cheek to his neck, down to the smooth skin of his chest, which showed the strong and barely hinted muscles.

Riven closed his eyes letting himself be lulled by that sensual voice and fiery kisses that continued to tickle his skin causing chills all over his body. She had an extraordinary ability to awaken his senses.

Without inhibitions, he rode the wave and reached out his right hand to slide it along the girl's leg, who was now hanging against her lower abdomen.

Darcy reached his abs, tickling them with her long hair, while he stroked her thigh; the skillful hand slipped under the black shirt, climbing up her soft hip.

Sleep was now forgotten and perfectly expendable in favor of that wonderful vision.

With a snap of her fingers, Darcy freed both of them from their clothes, leaving their skin exposed to the soft moonlight that brightened the dark room.

With a sinuous movement, the girl climbed up on Riven with her body, bringing their faces back together and starting to kiss him again, sending him into ecstasy. The boy's hands were anchored to her hips and seemed never to want to move away. He indulged in the warmth infused by the contact with Darcy's skin. Not a sound or a suspicious movement came from the beds next to them, a sign that Brandon and Timmy were not realizing anything.

Riven deeply inhaled Darcy's perfume, which reminded him of the sweet and enveloping smell of wild undergrowth flowers.

The girl was now moving with an almost imperceptible rhythm above him, their bodies perfectly adhered. Riven was on another planet; Darcy was able to surprise him by giving him sensations he couldn't even name. Love; passion; adventure; desire; good mood; safety; all of them put together, in a disarming combination.

His mouth had pounced on her neck, while his hands made their way relentlessly under the long coat of hair that covered her back.

-Mh, Riven ...- she moaned from time to time, swaying with transport on his body. The boy let himself be captured by her ecstatic expression, before she grabbed his wrists and blocked them over his head, and then reached the climax in a crescendo; Riven, connected through mind and body with her, reached her in perfect synchrony, relishing her slight moans.

Darcy lay down on his side again, not wanting to move away from the warmth of his body and without taking her eyes off his.

Riven hadn't moved his hands away from her for even a second, and now they seemed to want to hold her there next to him forever, as a treasure too precious to let go.

-You drive me crazy ...- he whispered to her. He would like her to stay with him for the whole night, and knowing her, she would be able to, despite the Cloudtower's night time call. Darcy let out a new little giggle of satisfaction as her index finger began to slide again on his profile, gently lulling him towards sleep. Her brilliant ideas always worked, and above all, they allowed both to spend pleasant nights away from prying eyes and bothering rules.

-Sleep, now ...- she murmured, placing her thin hand on his forehead, where an imperceptible discharge of magical energy made him fall suddenly into Morpheus' arms.

Darcy stayed with him for a while longer, to make sure he had fallen asleep.

Then, reluctantly, she left with a snap of her fingers, as quick as she had come.
