Teresa woke, covered in cold sweat. Her heart was beating rapidly and she was breathing fast, like she had just sprinted a race. She sat up and looked around to see that everyone in the glade was still sleeping. Laying back down, Teresa tried to piece her nightmare together.

The dream started with a laughing woman. Her laugh was soft and rich and her smile spread from ear to ear. Something happened and the woman began to laugh louder, as well as say what sounded like 'Deedee'

Teresa frowned as she recounted the dream. What did 'Deedee' mean?

The dream suddenly shifted. Teresa was waking towards a group of people. Rotting piles of corpses lay around her. She was shaking slightly and her eyes looked sad. The group consisted of two surprised teenagers and two adults. One teenager was a male as was an adult. She started talking to them, although the dialogue was not clear, and showed them a wound on her arm and pointed into the woods. The female teenager seemed very sweet and comforting.

'Who are they?' Teresa said out loud. Thomas shifted in his sleep, laying a hand on top of the girl. Teresa blushed softly before going back into trying to figure out who the people in her dream were. First was the woman, then the girl, then the group of people she bumped into.

Quite a lot of time went by, she reckoned. Now the dream was set in a room, a basement perhaps? And she was holding the hand of the kind female teenager who looked at her with a blank expression on her face, like she wasn't there. She felt so sad. Suddenly the names came to her, this was Trina and the male teenager was Mark. Alec was one of the adults and Lana was the other.

Teresa blinked in shock at the names. How did they come to her? Who were these people to her? She shook her head slightly, shifting Thomas' hand. Sighing, she tried to calm her rapidly racing brain and work this out logically.

The next part of the nightmare was in a house. It was filled with ill and crazy looking people with knives and bats and all sorts of other things. She was holding Mark's hand as he pushed through trying to get to the door of the house. When they were a few steps from the door, chaos urupted. The people swarmed towards them and separated Teresa from Mark. She screamed.

Thomas awoke with a start when he heard the scream and quickly learnt over Teresa. She was shivering and her breathing was rapid. She looked at Thomas with his concerned expression and with a shaky smile said 'It's ok, sorry I was just a nightmare. But I'm ok now so go back to sleep!'

Thomas seemed to buy it, 'Okay, if you're sure. Goodnight.' Teresa watched as he plunked himself back down and fell into a slumber. He seemed so at peace. Teresa decided she had had enough of the nightmare for tonight, so she lay flat in her back and closed her eyes, hoping to drift off like her friend.
