Hey everyone NaruAi here. I'm here with a new story inspired by many other crossovers. This time it's DBZ x Highschool DxD. I wrote this one because it was probably easy than doing DBZ and Naruto. That would take a lot of time. But I'm planning a Naruto x Highschool DXD once I'm free. Believe me it's hectic being a medicine student and that too in the current situation. I'll update The New Vanishing Dragon as soon as possible. But for now enjoy this. Also don't worry about power scaling. It's DBZ and DXD so they are both equal in that department. Until you introduce Super. So anyway I'll also be mentioning useful things and character info in the upcoming chapters. Read this and enjoy.Disclaimer : Both Dragon Ball Z and Highschool DxD belong to their respective authors, so support the original work.

1. Arrival to DxD

Life is not fair. Especially for Son Gohan. His life had always been full of trials and obstacles. Life-threatening or should we say Planet-threatening ones. But he always got saved in the end. Whether it was Piccolo, his teacher, or his dad. His dad. The same person who he always admired and looked up to. He was his hero. A lionheart. A warrior. A savior. He always thought about other's safety before his own. This time wasn't an exception. They were fighting the biggest nemesis of their lives, Cell. A bioengineered android made by the infamous Dr. Gero. Whose whole purpose was perfection. And that means he can't take imperfection. So he started to terrorize the whole planet and threatened to kill everyone. And that's why they fought him in a martial arts tournament. Organized by him. His father fought him and we really, really thought that he could defeat him. Maybe he had some kind of trump card. And indeed he had. In the form of his son. Goku forfeited and asked Gohan to fight Cell. He fought him till he could but his fear to kill didn't allow him to go all out. Well everyone has some limit. And so had Gohan. But when Cell started to torment his friends and insult Android 16's sacrifice, he snapped. And everything turned upside down. He ascended to a higher level of Super Saiyan, a level that was out of Cell's reach and pounded him in the ground. He had brought down that monster on his knees. He could see his win only a blast away. He could free the Earth from this terrorizing monstrosity.

But he did the only thing that you must never do in a fight. And that's to let your guard down. He was so much power-drunk and egoistic that he failed to notice Cell's evil plan. And he regretted it. He regretted not listening to the warnings and words of his father and Piccolo. He regretted not finishing his foe when he had the chance. And his father paid the price. Once again, arriving as a savior and leaving as a hero. And then he remembered that a true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength but the size of his heart. He could only live with this regret for the rest of his life.

Just as the hope came, it got lost. The very calamity he sacrificed his life for, was standing in front of them and more powerful than ever. His return killed Future Trunks and severely injured Vegeta, if it wasn't for Gohan saving him in the end, sacrificing his left arm.

And now here we were, in a final clash of powers. A Kamehameha battle. Pieces of debris were flying around wildly as the struggle between two beams was going on. On one side was the very monstrosity, Perfect Cell. And on the other side was Son Gohan countering Cell.

Gohan grunted as he tried his best to overpower Cell's Kamehameha but the injuries he got from protecting Vegeta were making it too difficult to focus. Something that didn't go unnoticed by the bioengineered villain.

"Alas this must be very hard for you to fight with those gruesome injuries boy. Why don't I make them more torturous?" Cell roared making his Kamehameha much larger, at the point of nearly overpowering Gohan. He started to stumble a bit, all of this too much hard and tiring for him.

"Hang in there Gohan! I know you can do it son! Just let go of your fear!" Goku's voice spoke telepathically to him from the afterlife through King Kai.

"I can't do it Dad. I just can't! I'm not strong like you! I'm tired and broken. It's too much to handle. I'm still a kid! I haven't changed at ALL!!" Gohan cried with low confidence as frustrated tears prickled his eyes. Why couldn't he do it? Why was he so weak? Why couldn't he become a hero like his father?

"What's the matter boy? Chanting your final wishes? Praying God for help? Or are you finally broken down? Well it doesn't matter. Because you're going to die. By the hands of the mighty Cell!!" Cell laughed hysterically as his beam started to overpower and more.

"Will you stop attacking yourself? Why are you getting these stupid ideas in your head? You've saved the lives of so many people before. You've saved my life. And now you're going to do it now once more!" Goku roared with the utmost faith he had in his son.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Gohan screamed with his full power bringing the beam to another stalemate and even empowering it bit by bit.

"It's gigantic! He's overcoming Cell!" Piccolo observed the battle as Gohan was back in the fight. All of a sudden, Cell started to overpower the beam once again.

"So much power!" Gohan gasped he was brought down to one knee due to sheer power of Cell.

"Don't give up Gohan! If anywhere in your head you're holding back in fear that you'll hurt your friends, then let it go! We'll fix all the damage with Dragon Balls so just do !!" Goku reminded his son who was still unsure of his power.

"Y-yeah but … I….." Gohan admitted reluctantly.

"Yes! I can see you slipping away boy! Admit your defeat and just die!!" Cell yelled in pure ecstasy. As the Z-fighters watched this in utmost horror, Piccolo started to fly off to help his student.

"Wait Gohan! I'm coming for your help!"

"Piccolo!!!" Krillin yelled in worry as he saw the Namekian flying towards his death.

"I just can't watch while my friend's son sacrifices himself for all of us. I'm gonna help too!" Tien said this and nodded to Yamcha. He also gave a nod and both flew away for Cell.

"If it's that now, how can I be here sitting on my ass?!" Krillin said in frustration. He gently placed Android 18 carefully with Trunks and flew away.

"Masenko-Ha!!" Piccolo fired down the beam, hitting Cell on the back getting his attention. And also Gohan's. A Kiai from Cell sent Piccolo away like swatting a fly.

"Piccolo No!" Gohan yelled in worry for his first teacher. "Hahahaha to think that you can defeat me, Piccolo. What a nuisance." Cell laughed as he humiliated Piccolo. As Gohan gritted his teeth in frustration and anger, Cell's smirk grew.

"Count your last minutes boy because after that you're just DEAD!!!" Cell smirked in pure evil glee before couple certain voices interrupted his perfect moment.

"Special Beam Cannon!!"

"Tri-Beam HAAA!!!"

"HAAAAAAA!!"

"KamehameHAAAAA!!!"

Several powerful ki blasts were fired by Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin towards Cell in order to aid Gohan.

"Not too close guys! Be careful!" Gohan worried after his friends.

"Focus on your attack Gohan! They can take care of themselves!" Goku reminded his son as he was their last hope.

"I'm trying!" A vein popped in Gohan's forehead in frustration.

"You're too hasty to die, aren't you all?!" Cell yelled in frustration as he fired a huge Kiai towards them, knocking out all of them several meters away.

"You hurt them…. DAMN YOU!!" Gohan roared in sheer outburst as he discharged his inner flame and empowered Kamehameha as Cell began to counter it again.

"G-gohan…" Piccolo rolled himself over as he couldn't see the battle.

"Damn it…." Tien cursed his weakness. He balled his fists tightly as he couldn't do anything.

"Sorry Goku…. We couldn't save you and now we couldn't save your son. Even though we tried our best….." Krillin muttered in distress as the hopelessness grew.

"But it still wasn't enough…." Yamcha slacked.

However everyone failed to notice Vegeta's ascension to Super Saiyan, flying off towards the battle.

"Chant your prayers boy!!!" Cell yelled triumphantly as his Kamehameha grew in size.

"OH NO! The earth's gonna blow up!!" King Kai cried in horror as he saw the planet of his student end.

"Release everything Gohan! It's your last chance! Remember all the pain this monster caused!! Remember the people he hurt! Make that your power!!" Goku encouraged his son as all the crimes of Cell played in Gohan's mind. The agony and suffering of millions of people. The death of his closed friends. Trunks, Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Bulma, Vegeta, Chichi. His Dad. Android 16's murder in cold-blood. This ignited a fire in Gohan and it slowly erupted in his veins like his surging blood.

"Say goodbye boy!!!" Cell laughed mercilessly as he intended to stop playing around and end this trivial debacle and kill this boy who dared to step against perfection. He failed to notice a harsh ki blast to his skull, losing his concentration on the beam. He looked up to see a panting Vegeta as a smirk appeared on his face.

"That…..is for my son, you wicked disgraceful bastard!!" Vegeta mocked as rage flew through Cell's head.

"Vegeta!!!!" Cell heaved in shock as the father-son duo geared up for the slight opportunity.

"Now is your chance Son!!" Goku yelled as he pushed his son. Gohan unleashed every ounce of his power as his Kamehameha grew so much that it started to overpower the Android's Kamehameha as the pest gasped in horror as realization dawn on him of how he's gonna die. He could make out the silhouette of the spikey haired Super Saiyan walking towards him as his Kamehameha started to overpower his own.

"Your time is up Cell! The terror you inflicted upon all of the people is over. You're going to die now!" Gohan shouted as the beam started to overpower the Android.

"No! It can't be happening! I desist to let it end here. I'm Cell! The most powerful and the perfect creation of Dr. Gero. I won't lose to some persnickety brat!!" Cell bawled as his beam started getting bigger bringing it to equal again.

"Pay my regards to that foolish father of yours!" Cell roared.

"The evil always loses in the end. And so will you! I'll end you! WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!" Gohan screamed as the beams collision started getting bigger and bigger until it dwarfed the size of Freiza's Death Ball. Z-fighters had to fly away unless they get caught in the explosion.

"Your time ends now!!"

"See you in Hell bastard!!"

Both the combatants yelled simultaneously and pushed everything they had in the last attack. Both Kamehameha beams got so huge before they erupted as a gigantic dome of azure energy that shone so brilliantly. It even dwarfed the brightness of the sun. Both of the energies disintegrated as the two fighters whisked away along them.

"What is happening now?!" Gohan cried in pain as it started becoming unbearable.

"What on earth?! Gohan!! What's happening?!" Goku called his son but he couldn't answer as his body felt like being pulled from inside out.

"What the-?! What have you done boy?!" Cell cried as pain started to envelope his whole body disintegrating every single particle of him.

"D-dad…… I… did.." Gohan hissed as the light of the explosion started swallowing his body.

As each moment passed, his body started feeling lighter and lighter. At least he saved everyone in the end. Now he can die peacefully and reunite with his father in the afterlife.

"As long as Earth is saved, my life is a forfeit." These were the last thoughts as bright light enveloped him.

Seconds passed and then there was only darkness.

The aftermath of the clash of both titans was a huge crater embedded in the surface of Earth that spread miles away. It was so deep that you could fill it with hundreds of tons of gallons water if you wanted.

"N-no way… he did it. He did it! Gohan finally defeated it! We're saved!!" Krillin applauded in pure joy as adrenaline washed over his whole body. Tien and Yamcha also smiled heartily as they saw Gohan finally ending the evil creature.

"Damn that was tough as hell!" Yamcha stated as he was helped up by Tien who nodded.

"Yeah who knew that we'll once again be saved by Goku, not to mention his legacy saved us this time." Tien remarked, acknowledging Gohan.

The only one who wasn't happy and enjoying was Piccolo who frowned deep in thought before gasping in panic, getting the attention of the other Z-fighters.

"No it can't be!?" Piccolo panted in horror.

"What's wrong Piccolo?" Krillin asked in worry.

"It's Gohan! I can't sense him! He's gone." Piccolo roared as he couldn't sense a single ki signal from Gohan. The others looked shocked and started doing the same, arriving on the same result.

"Y-you are right…" Yamcha hardly whispered.

"M-maybe Gohan got swallowed in that explosion and his body got d-destroyed with it…??" Tien asked in disbelief.

"It-it can be the only r-reason…. I can't feel him anywhere…." Piccolo gasped in horror. Until Krillin started laughing out loud which drew shocked and angered looks from everyone.

"And what the fuck's damn funny here you idiot?!?!" Piccolo roared in fury as he marched towards Krillin and yanked him by his collar but his smile didn't falter.

"You guys are forgetting something. We can bring Gohan back with everyone who was killed by Cell. Remember Dragon Balls?" Krillin grinned as everyone there face faulted at their ignorance.

"Oh….right…..yeah…" Tien admitted in embarrassment as he remembered the mythical wishing orbs.

"Well guy! What are we waiting for then? Let's go to the lookout and ask Dende to wish for it." Yamcha remarked as everyone smiled.

"Gotcha!" Krillin stated as he picked up Android 18 in his arms and flew off towards the Lookout.

"See you there Piccolo!" Yamcha announced as he and Tien flew off the skies. Piccolo noticed Vegeta wiping blood from his mouth.

"That was brave what you did there." Piccolo stated, amusement clear in his voice as he praised the Saiyan Prince for his act of bravery against the Cell. Vegeta only scoffed at that.

"Hmph. Save your applause Namekian. I only did what a true warrior does. Also I couldn't endanger my family's life for my arrogance. I'm proud, not an idiot." Vegeta dismissed as his pride could only allow him to speak that. Piccolo smiled a bit at Vegeta's act of recklessness as trait of true warrior who jumped in the fight for his son, even though he knew he couldn't win.

"Well aren't you coming? Your pride can allow you to at least savor the victory. Also Trunks will be revived so you should be there for him at least." Piccolo remarked as he flew after saying it. The Saiyan Prince stared blankly in the space as the entire scenario of today's events played like a CD inside his head.

"You know you're amazing Kakarot. You have beaten me completely today. First by your actions. And then of your son's. And what's for me now? What should I do?" Vegeta gritted his teeth at his misery. This whole Cell fiasco was his fault in the first place. Had he not been arrogant, had he killed Cell then when he was weaker, this whole thing couldn't have happened. Kakarot would have been alive. His son would be alive.

"I won't allow this. I definitely won't! I'll surpass you Kakarot and I'll become a better warrior than you….I definitely will!" Vegeta vowed with a new fire igniting in his eyes as he flew reluctantly towards the Lookout.

Scene Change

Dimensional Void

Gohan's body floated aimlessly in the space. Being near-dead had forced his body out of the ascended Super Saiyan state he was in, to his base form. The said space was an endless void comprising of different colors mixed together randomly. There was nothing as far as the eye could see. All of a sudden, an opening formed between the void and light shown through it, swallowing the body of the young Saiyan.

Location: Kyoto, Japan

Yasaka was tired and bored.

Well not bored exactly but definitely weary of the typical routine of her life for the past few years. Being the leader of Kyoto and the Yokai faction had some perks of itself. But by and large, she found her daily lifestyle as quite straightforward. She didn't hate her job. Hell no. She loved her people who supported her in every action. Yeah she didn't like the bureaucratic matters that much as she hated being manipulated. Not to mention she was being pestered for the last couple of years to find a mate. Those old geezers were afraid that they might lose the last of the Kyuubi race. But she didn't pay them that attention.

She sat in her office situated in her castle, reading the documents regarding the relationships between other faction. The three factions clashes, the fallen angels activities, the Greek Pantheon. A sigh escaped her lips.

Suddenly the sky rumbled. Grey clouds started rolling in overhead. Gusts of winds started to blow around the whole city, especially around her castle's garden areas. The sky thundered heavily. She frantically stood up from her seat as she felt a surge of energy. Enough to panic her it was. She started getting goosebumps as she had never felt that kind of energy. The ominous clouds had darkened considerably and at their center, a disturbance started to form.

Suddenly the sky split open as if the crack in the fabric of reality had torn apart. Out of it, a kind dot fell. A shining dot. Falling straight down towards her garden. As if it had done it's job, the crack disappeared. Without leaving any trace of it. Yasaka's first impression of it was Dimensional gap. She had read about it and heard it from the Shinto Gods. But never really visited that place. It was home to the strongest of the beings in the entire universe. Beings like Great Red and Ophis. And that dot didn't look like either of them. So what was it?

As the dot got closer, she could draw the rough estimate of what it was. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was body of a boy. The body collided with the ground in her gardens and created a huge cloud of dust. She hurriedly went there, ordering her guards to call for medics. Getting closer to the small crater, she was shocked to see what was in it.

A boy hardly thirteen was laying in the hole, breathing calmly. His body was clearly wounded. Specifically his left shoulder which looked as if it was badly stomped on by some giant. Gashes, lacerations and burn marks littered his body. His purple outfit that looked like a gi was nearly shredded and his hair were matted with blood, probably due to the fall. The medics arrived and she ordered them to place the boy in the special care unit and monitor him 24/7. She advised them to save the boy's life at any cost. They immediately complied with it and took him.

"A human definitely can't withstand that fall unless he's related to the supernatural. And judging by that boy's ruined outfit and condition, there's no doubt that he was in some kind of battle. But what could be so grueling that he'll be this much injured?" Yasaka thought to herself. Her mind bounced between inconclusive ideas but eventually, she gave up trying to rationalize the whole situation. Her best bet was that he was some kind of sacred gear user that kept him alive….. but that was all. She left it at that and ordered the guards and servants to clean the place. She ordered her subordinates to investigate whether the other areas of the city got harmed and are all the people safe? She would have to wait for the boy to wake up if she wanted her answers. But something told her that the boy is going to be a major factor in the upcoming future.

Beep.

Beep…

Beep…..

"MmAghh…." The teenager groaned through his lips as that annoying beeping sound had woke him up from his calming sleep. A sleep he hadn't gotten since a long time. Keeping his eyes closed, he tried to move his body. Only to wince in result as his body winced a lot. He could feel that his arms, legs and the rest of his body were pretty roughed up in his fight with Cell if his bandaged body wasn't any indication of the fact.

Beep….. Beep…..

The Saiyan hybrid growled as the beeping sound coming from some kind of hospital machine didn't stop. Well, he wouldn't mind going back to sleep once again. As the bed he was in was most definitely some kind of heavenly cloud. Considering the fact that anything would be heavenly than the situation he was in before.

It was only when he remembered the past events that he opened his eyes in sudden realization. He jerked his body up causing him to wince again. He focused his vision and saw the ventilator attached to his bed that was responsible for that beeping noise.

'Figures I'd found it in a hospital.' Gohan mused to himself.

Though he frowned after looking at it precisely that he found something odd. The machine was a very old model. Like the ones you would see in the books before the invention of Dyno Capsules.

'It's odd to have these outdated machines in a hospital nowadays. Maybe the hospital I'm in, is some remote area one. But it's not a possibility because even when I went to the town where I met Lime* it wasn't technologically reclusive. How strange.' Gohan deduced in his head.

He made a note to discuss it later with his friends. He darted his eyes around the room he was in and noticed that it was rather decent sized room. Not that much inside in the room he guessed. There was the bed he was currently resting on. There was a white cabinet on the opposite side of the bed and a couple paintings hung on the wall. He wasn't that much of artistic guy but even he couldn't recognize what they were of.

The Saiyan hybrid sensed someone coming to his room. He couldn't pinpoint the energy as ki exactly. But it was a similar kind of energy. Something that was the same as ki. The room to his door opened and in came a young woman in her early twenties. She had auburn hair, reaching her shoulder. She was quite pretty for her age. From her attire, he could assume that she worked as a nurse in this hospital as she held some papers in her hands. She was quite focused in them.

"H-hello" Gohan greeted her in a somewhat hoarse voice as he was a bit dehydrated.

The woman looked up from the papers she was immersed in and let out a gasp as she saw him awake and sitting in his bed. "O-oh. Just wait a bit." She didn't wait for him to reply, turned around and left the room. Leaving him alone a bit surprised.

"Huh?" He blinked as he watched her leave. That was strange. What was all that about? Wasn't she here to treat him or check up on his wounds? Not leave him alone here!

Oh well. He can't do anything about it right now as he was still exhausted from his fight with Cell. That monster really was gone for the best this time. Why? Because he couldn't feel his enormous evil energy anywhere. His energy was so colossal that you could feel it all the way from King Kai's planet. That's how his father helped him fighting the Cell. His father. It was going to be a sore subject from now on. Especially for his mother. Poor Chichi. She had to bear this burden now. It was a bitter pill to swallow, indeed. But still there was something wrong here. He had amplified his senses as the nurse had left him. But he still couldn't feel any of his friends' ki. He was sure they weren't dead. But then why couldn't he sense them? He could feel other kind of energies. But they were odd. Some even foul. And some so huge that they could rival Cell's. But ki was still there. He tried to recall all the events of his fight. They clashed their Kamehameha. That gigantic dome of energy. His father's yelling. Cell's disintegrating. His own body getting swallow-

'No. There's no way I'm dead. Otherwise dad would have come and check on him. Then again there's no way there are hospitals in afterlife or such.'

He didn't get to mull over it much as he felt someone coming towards his room once again. This person was strong. He could feel it from their energy. The door leading to his room opened once again and someone walked through it. He looked towards the person, only to fight down the blush on his face as he gazed upon the inhuman beauty. He already forgot the nurse from before coming towards him to check upon him.

She had light long blonde hair, tied in a high ponytail. It went all the way down her legs and ended in a spiral. It was paler than his own when in a Super Saiyan state and seemed to have some sort of shine to it. She looked to be very young, probably even younger than the nurse. Her face was perfect with elegant and graceful features. Her eyebrows were cut short but it merely intensified her ethereal charm. Her eyes were sparkling golden that looked at him with some hidden smothering intensity.

Her outfit was a shrine maiden attire, a white haori with it over a red hakama. She had a golden crown on her head. Her outfit did little to hide her curvaceous and voluptuous figure though he did his best to not stare.

Kami! He wasn't a goofball like his father who knew nothing about the opposite sex at his age. Or even when he was about to be wed to his mom. His mother made sure that he paid as much attention to biology and health education as he did to calculus and quantum physics. She didn't want him to eat his wedding.

He wasn't a pervert, thank goodness! So he had enough self-control to not gawk at her. Hell, if it had been Master Roshi in his place, the old hermit would have met King Yenma from blood loss. Or worse molested her.

Yet as he roamed over her form, there were certain features that caught his utmost attention and caused his eyes to widen.

Behind her, swaying gently in rhythm, with each step she made were not one or two but a whole nine tales. Golden, furred fox tails precisely. Not to mention, there were a pair of fox ears that were peeking out of her hair. While it was quite shocking it only made her much more….

"…..Beautiful" The word unconsciously left from his lips before he realized what he said. It only caused his still rosy cheeks to darken a red shade and his eyes to widen a bit more. She also heard him quite clearly, considering the fact that she was giggling gently. He also noted a faint sign of blush on her face.

'Ah great Son Gohan. Just great. Not even one hour and you're acting weird.' The Saiyan teen thought.

He wanted to apologize for his unethical behavior but was beaten to it as the woman spoke up, having stopped her giggling from the rather unexpected compliment he gave her.

"You're up much earlier than I had expected." Her voice was both soothing and soft and caused his heart to flutter. "How do you feel now? Any agonizing pain?" She asked him elegantly about his well-being.

His eyes flickered to her swaying tails, that was something even he hadn't seen. And that's coming a lot from someone who lived a world where a talking dog was the King of the world.

Well even though his body ached a lot before, he could feel that his situation was getting better and better. Perhaps his Saiyan biology was starting to kick-in. "No I feel fine. A bit stiff but in one piece." He answered as politely as he could.

"Well that's great to hear. Nice to know that you're getting better. It was really brutal when I spotted you suddenly falling out of the sky, down my garden. Though I'm genuinely surprised to see you awake after that terrible state you were in. To be honest you were at death's door when we were treating you but we're glad that we could help. Do you remember anything?" She asked him worry etched on her face.

Well, he did clear as day. Gohan remembered his Kamehameha clash and then getting enveloped by that beam of light. "Yeah… I was fighting a battle for planet and…. I think I won. Probably." Gohan responded in a cheerful and polite way. " So where am I?"

The woman blinked and narrowed her eyes at him slightly, trying to find any lie in his eyes but found none. After all there weren't that many people who could claim that. Not to mention that any eleven year old could claim that. Maybe he was still somewhat drowsy under some drug. But she couldn't sense any lie from him. She could also sense a massive amount of power from him. Dwarfing her own. Was that ki? Her expression shifted into a small smile. She could see that he was waiting for her reply.

"My apologies for spacing out during this discussion. As for your question, you're currently in Kyoto, a city of Japan." She answered politely to his question.

Kyoto? Japan? Was there any kind of city or country on Earth? As much as he could remember there wasn't. He noticed that she wanted to ask him something. So he nodded to her for that.

"I know it may sound rude but I wanted to ask this since the first time I met you. Who are you? Or precisely what are you?"

Gohan panicked a little, that this woman knew about his Saiyan heritage. But it couldn't be possible. It was his first time meeting her. So there was no way. Straightening himself, he answered, though a bit shakily.

"I-I am human." There, he said it. At his answer, he was subjected to the scrutinizing gaze of those mesmerizing golden orbs for what seemed like forever. He was afraid that anymore of this and he'll fold. Though her expression softened and she nodded. Phew! He was off the hook. For now.

"Very well. I'll accept that for now. What's your name?"

"I'm Son Gohan. And you're miss……" He trailed off and looked at her expectantly. She still hadn't told her name.

"Oh!" The blonde brought her hands to her cheeks as light blush of embarrassment adorned her face upon realizing she hadn't introduced herself yet. "I'm Yasaka, leader of the Youkai here in Kyoto. I'm a nine tailed fox." She gestured towards the nine tails behind her that swished in a gentle manner rhythmically.

Gohan seemed to stare at those appendages in awe as he wanted to touch and feel them. They looked really soft to be honest.

Ahem*

Yasaka cleared her throat which also managed to pull him out of his daydreams and he realized he had been staring.

"Uh… Sorry…Miss Yasak-" "Yasaka is fine Gohan kun" She didn't know why she allowed him to call that but it just felt right.

'Hang on Yasaka. He's just a child. A child who's far more ripped than most of the mythical Gods.'

"Wait! Kyoto? Japan? I've never heard of any city named that before. Where on earth…. Are we still near Mt. Paozu? Diablo desert?"

It was Yasaka's turn to be confused as her tailed stopped swaying. "Well I've heard about Mount Paozu but the last time I heard, Sun Wukong moved out of there and his current whereabouts are unknown. Though it's hard to believe that you lived there. And I'm sorry but I don't know about this Diablo Desert. Are you sure that you've never heard about Kyoto?"

A slight nod was her answer. She could tell from his expression that he was telling the absolute truth.

"I see. It only brings forth more questions I have though I also have a few theories in my mind. You appear in the garden of my castle covered in blood and wounds and your clothes in tatters. You speak Japanese even though you've never heard of Kyoto or Japan before. You suddenly appear out of nowhere in the sky and fell down. I'm still curious about how you got here but if my guess is correct, then you've dropped here by Dimensional Gap." Yasaka replied as look of intrigue plastered upon her face.

"Wait, Dimensional Gap? What's that?" Gohan asked his voice starting to sound tired. A sign that he still was recovering.

"Dimensional Gap is a space that exists between various worlds. Worlds such as Heaven, Underworld, Earth, Asgard and such. Nothing can survive it's density without extreme magical protection. Anything raw immediately dies in a matter of seconds. But if you happened to survive that, it means you're no ordinary being. Well I'll leave you for now as it seems you're not fully recovered. For now rest." She smiled at him in the end and got a bit close. Enough to cause Gohan to blush at their close proximity.

He thanked her once more before watching her turn around and leave. The nurse followed her but not before smiling at him. And a thorough check up of his body.

Letting his head fall back onto his pillow, he shifted his gaze so he was looking outside. Unfortunately, there wasn't any window he could look outside from. So he fixated his gaze towards the ceiling and his thoughts wandered to his discussion with Yasaka. Even though he hoped for the best, he still couldn't help but be anxious. Well Piccolo had always told him to be prepared for the worst. So he'll do that and not panic. For now.

He felt his eyes drooping with fatigue and in seconds he once again slipped into a deep slumber.

The Saiyan hybrid found himself in a transpicuous dreamscape. He didn't know where he was, but from the looks of it, it seemed kind of familiar. Like that time when he mentally sparred with Krillin on their way to the Namek, to retrieve Dragon Balls. It looked like a dark vacuum. There were no signs of life or anything else other than his floating form. Well he was a bit hazy but he knew that it was his mindscape. But strangely something didn't feel right. Like there was some kind of presence in this place. As if on cue, he felt a heavy pressure.

And a booming voice followed that.

"Son Gohan."

Turning towards the source of that noise, what the Saiyan teen found, would be etched in his memory for the rest of his life. Appearing in front of him like some specter, was the form of the largest dragon he had ever seen, not counting Porunga*. That guy was still a bit larger than this. But really. It was so enormous that it easily made Shenron* look tiny. Not to mention the power it had. Even though it was some mirage, it still oozed of power. Absolute power. It's scales were deep crimson and it's body seemed indestructible. Only seemed. However something was concerning. Even though this thing seemed quite powerful. It didn't had any energy. He didn't sense even a speck of energy. Or there was also a possibility that he couldn't sense it. Anyway it could also be his dream affecting his senses.

"I have been asked by someone to relay some information and things to you. Do whatever you want with them."

All of a sudden, the space shifted and it changed to something more corporeal and recognizable. It gave way to colors and reality around Gohan and a smile full of excitement crossed his face.

"Hey that's the Lookout. And everyone's there." Gohan flew down towards them from his position. He could see the darkened clouds scattered around the sky. Shenron was also summoned, his giant form looming over everyone ominously. Gohan landed his feet on the floor of Lookout. Even though this was all a dream, he could feel a sense of reality in it. He wondered what was going on here.

"Shenron! Why can't you summon back Son Gohan?" Krillin called out.

Gohan watched all of this, as a sudden sense of relief hit his whole body and mind. This was the situation after he defeated Cell! It means he did it! He saved everyone! His dad didn't die for nothing! He would have jumped in joy and interacted with everyone, if not for the fact that it was all in his dreamscape. He walked beside Krillin, even though the guy could not sense his presence. He looked at his friend and seemed to notice that his height had increased a bit inches. Maybe it was just his imagination.

He glanced down at his body, only to find it translucent and hardly visible. This solidified his previous theory that all of this was a memory.

After some moments of silence, Shenron answered.

"The boy Son Gohan…..cannot be summoned back."

"What?!" Krillin looked alarmed. Everyone present there looked shell-shocked excluding Vegeta. Gohan didn't expected some kind of sympathetic reaction from the Saiyan Prince anyway. But still, he raised an eyebrow at his less colder-than-usual response.

"What do you mean you can't summon him back?!" Krillin shouted in desperation.

"The boy Son Gohan is not dead. And that's why I cannot grant this wish." The wish granting dragon informed everyone, causing their mood to brighten up.

"Wait, does it mean that the kid's alive?! Then he can be summoned to this place!" Yamcha exclaimed.

"Still, even if he's not dead, it should be possible to summon him to us. If that's case then why isn't he here?" Trunks wondered, panic evident in his voice.

"Explain yourself Dragon." Piccolo demanded. "We couldn't sense Gohan's energy after that blast. If you're saying that he's alive, then why he isn't here?"

"Son Gohan's body was displaced due to the clash between that Cell guy. The body of that Android got destroyed due to blast but somehow Son Gohan got sucked in that blast too and his body got lost in the void between worlds. And that's why I cannot bring him here because this is out of my abilities." Shenron replied in a calm manner as his words washed over everyone in an unsettling manner. Krillin clenched his fists in frustration. Trunks was doing the same, his head bowed. Piccolo was suppressing his rage, even though it was evident on his face.

"Shenron please! Isn't there anything else you can help us with?! Anything?!" Krillin pleaded in distress. Gohan could say such worry etched on everyone's face.

"All I can do is send a message through the guardian deity of the other universe. Anything beyond that is nigh impossible for me."

"Other universe?" Tien exclaimed. This got the attention of everyone there. Even Vegeta looked to be curious.

"The blast was powerful enough that it rip a hole in the very fabric of reality itself. Well it was powerful enough that the whole Otherworld could sense it, so I'm honestly surprised if the planet's still standing." A voice boomed in their minds. A familiar Saiyan's cheerful voice.

"""Goku!!!""" Everyone exclaimed. Even Vegeta looked surprised.

'Father!' the saiyan teen exclaimed in content. Even though he couldn't hear what his father said he could still listen due to some interference.

"What do you mean by that Son? Are there other universes out there?" Piccolo asked.

"Yeah. King Kai told me that. I was listening to your conversation earlier and I contacted the Namekian elder through King Kai to know if Porunga can bring back Gohan but it seems that even he can't do it. So I asked them to wish me back. I'll be there in a sec." Just as Goku finished talking, he appeared between them on the Lookout. Everyone got delighted that he was there again with them but then they remembered their situation and their expressions became dejected.

"Then what should we do now? How do we get him back?! If he's alive, that means he's lost and all alone there." Krillin asked looking around for answer.

"Unlikely," Vegeta grunted. " That kid's got one hell of luck. Most likely he's safe there for now. And don't forget that guy defeated Cell. That same Cell who could blow up this whole Solar System. I highly suggest that you contact that kid's mother if you are so focused on bringing him back." Vegeta pointed towards Trunks.

"Mom? But why? What can she do?"

"Well Bulma did make a time machine. If she gets some time, it's not impossible for her to make something that can cross universes." Goku gained a thoughtful look.

"Hey that's a great idea!" Krillin exclaimed.

"Well that could work. But I don't know how much time it will take. Not to mention that mom's future counterpart made the time machine. Even if I gave her mine for study, it would be miracle if she managed to pinpoint the exact universe in which Gohan is right now." Trunks stressed the obstacles.

"But still the groundwork is already done. Now Gohan can only wait until we come for him. It's now evident that not even Porunga can bring him back so we'll just have to wait." Piccolo voiced sagely.

"Although it's not much, I can offer to deliver a few things with spending the rest of my energy. Rest assured, Son Gohan is safe for the time being, wherever he is now. Now say your wish and I shall grant it!" Shenron boomed.

"Hey that's great! We can send Gohan some supplies that he may need. We can send it through Capsules." Trunks exclaimed in upbeat.

"That's right! I'll go right away to Bulma and retrieve some." Goku vanished via Instant Transmission to Bulma.

A minute passed and Goku appeared, a pack of Dyno Capsules in his hand. He placed them in front of Shenron.

"Alright!" Goku exclaimed. "Deliver them to Gohan, Shenron. And please tell him that everything's all right here and he should stay safe and happy. We're trying our best to bring him back. But he shouldn't be worried about it and enjoy his life. Tell him that we love him a lot and we'll try our best!" Goku yelled out in content.

"All right. This is within my power." Shenron's ruby eyes glowed for a few seconds, his power swelled and the Capsules pack vanished. After a few seconds they returned to normal, a sign of their wish being fulfilled. "Your wish has been granted. Farewell!!"

In a flash of light, gone was the Shenron and the Dragon Balls went up in the sky and scattered all over the planet. This brought us to our Saiyan hybrid, who smiled in merrily, the fact that everyone was safe and wanted him to live his life was enough for him.

As if on cue, his surroundings started to bend and liquidate and everything vanished. He once again found himself in the void as before.

The humongous crimson dragon awaited him.

"I have fulfilled the request offered to me by your Eternal Dragon, young hatchling." The godly dragon boomed. Gohan felt grateful to him that he helped him knowing this. Now that he knew about the safety of his friends and family, a surge of joy and relief washed over his body. A huge burden that was placed on his shoulders, had been lifted off. Although he had know now the identity of this godly dragon.

"Thanks a lot sir. You've helped me so much by doing this but can you answer me something. What about that capsule pack that was sent to me? And if you could tell me your name." Gohan bowed in gratitude and asked him politely.

"You are indeed very polite hatchling. To answer your question, the capsule pack will be beside you after you wake up. And about my identity, I've been called by many names young one. But the most meaningful to answer your question would be Great Red, the Dragon God of Dreams. This would also explain how I entered your mindscape. I would have entered your dreams earlier but your mind was too weak due to your recovery."

Gohan stored that knowledge in his mind for later date. He would ask Yasaka about this Great Red more after settling in the world. He looked down towards his body, and indeed, he did find it a bit bigger than before.

"Your body is this because you were floating in Dimensional Gap for quite some time. 2 years precisely. You only survived because your life force was far stronger than most of the beings in the universe. Otherwise you would have perished. Time flows a lot different in the Dimensional Gap than other worlds." Great Red answered him as he could read his mind. Well he was in his mindscape.

It meant that Gohan was now thirteen. Well time sure passes. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself about this whole situation. Another universe. Other kind of life energies. Dragons. Foxes. Well he did landed himself in one strange world. But then it means there were other strong beings in this universe as well. Maybe as strong as Cell. He'd have to train himself again if he wanted to survive.

"Tread carefully, young dimension traveler. This world is unlike yours'. There will many who will fight you toe-to-toe of the time came. So be careful. Know that my eyes will be watching your steps as will be many others when your existence comes to known."

"Well thanks, I guess." Gohan replied awkwardly. He wasn't sure of himself how to behave in front of such powerful creature. But to know that there were other powerful beings in this universe. This pumped his blood a bit as his Saiyan heritage got him excited.

"It was a pleasure meeting you young hatchling. But let me give you a warning. You're strong. But still there are some beings stronger than you. Some who even can kill you. Your presence didn't go unnoticed by others. So beware. Your time is up now. We'll meet again when the world tears apart itself. Until then!"

"Wha-"

Gohan suddenly found himself back in his bed, eyes wide awake.

He let out a sigh. Now that he knew what was going on, he could understand this world a lot better. He looked to his side and found the pack of capsules there. He sat up noticing the neatly folded clothes at the edge of bed. Kicking off the remaining covers, he hopped out of the bed, only to almost falling on his face, if not for his last-sec balance. This confirmed his previous theory that he indeed had grown. Previously, he was 410. Now he looked to be 52. He quickly regained his balance and did a slight set of exercises. Only clad in his shorts. After a few sets of push-ups, sit-ups and crunches, he felt all his fatigue gone. Like it was never there. He could feel his ki flowing throughout his body. He decided to test his powers after changing his clothes. He unfolded the clothes to reveal white full sleeves shirt with black linings on them. There were matching black pants and red sports shoes.

He put on them and to be honest, he looked quite nice in them. Although the shirt was a bit tight around his chest. Sparing the room one last glance, he picked the capsule pack in his pocket and opened the door. The guards at the door went to notify Yasaka about his situation. In a few minutes, he saw Yasaka coming towards him, a smile on her face after seeing him ok. His own eyes lightened up after seeing her.

She looked him over and nodded in teasin manner. "I was right when I thought you'd look good in those clothes."

"You picked them for me?" At her nod, he looked over himself once again. "Well I do like them. They're nice but a bit tight around the chest area. Though that's nothing to worry about. But I must ask, how did you know my size?"

"Oh that. I had someone measure them while you slept."

" " He had no retort to that one.

"Well I guess if you are hungry, we can get lunch. If you want that is."

"Sure why not. But if you don't mind. I can eat a lot. And by that, I mean A LOT."

"Sure, no problem. Our palace food is very delicious, so I hope you'll enjoy it to your heart." She answered him calmly. Later she'd remember this for her whole life.

They both went to the eating area of her palace. Gohan's mouth instantly watered at seeing such delightful treats in front of him. Ramen, dumplings, chicken curry, rice, roasted beef and so much more. Easily the food could fulfill the appetite of a dozen warriors. Well, dozen non-saiyan warriors that is. Gohan, in the true Saiyan fashion, had devoured all the food while Yasaka looked on in amazement and a bit of disgust. She was surprised that this boy could eat so much and not put any fat. In fact, he had the body of a Greek God, carved from marble by the hands of Great Herm-

'What on earth are you thinking Yasaka?! He's still a child! At least get to him a suitable age!' These were the thoughts going around in the resident nine tailed fox. Though Gohan didn't pay her much attention.

After an hour of a delicious treat for the Saiyan teen, Yasaka suggested that they should head somewhere more private so they can talk, probably her office. Before that, she decided to give him a detour of their city. So he followed her.

As they walked through the streets of Kyoto, Gohan let his eyes roam around as he took in every bit he could see. To be honest, it reminded him of those buildings he had seen in the pictures. They were mostly on the Eastern continent where Tien resided. Everywhere he looked, he could see people with certain animal features, others with more noticeable ones than some and they all came in different sizes. He didn't miss the looks sent their way as he and Yasaka made their way through. But then he remembered Yasaka mentioning him that she was the leader of these Youkai in Kyoto so it was uncommon that they'd see their leader walking through the streets without any bodyguard. Apparently. He could sense several energy signatures on the rooftops of various buildings though none of them was hostile towards them. Strangely though their gazes didn't held any sort of dejection or resentment towards him. Meaning that they weren't hostile towards him and were most definitely the same towards humankind. Even still, their gazes held curiosity. Like they were expecting something from him. A group of small children were pointing at him in wonder even.

"They are only interested in your ability to use ki. Apparently Youkai can sense the presence of chakra and ki. Humans don't use ki so they are surprised to find one that can, huge one at that." Yasaka answered to his inner questions.

"I see….but wait what's chakra? You mentioned that before. The energy I sense from you is kind of like ki but it's somewhat mixed."

" Chakra is the mixture between spiritual and mental energy. It's one of the energies of this world. There a lot more types of energies used by different species so you'll learn about them later." Yasaka explained.

"Ok…."

Both of them came to a halt as they reached their destination which was the same palace they ate their lunch in. Although Gohan hadn't looked much accurately earlier, probably of his hunger, but now he could see that they were in front of a mansion. It even dwarfed the building of Capsule Corp. Gohan followed Yasaka, his hands behind his head, as she lead him through the halls. She led him to a room, it's interior showing that it was a meeting place for important people. Cream colored walls, and ornate carpets while a large table with fancy cravings sat in the middle of the table. All in all, the room was completely of regal atmosphere.

He sat down on a couch after Yasaka permitted him, she sat across him on the other one. He knew that this was going to be a very long discussion.

Chapter EndSo how did you like that? Yup I'll be going with Yasaka route this time, though it's like there won't be any Rias in this. She's my favorite so she's definitely a part of harem in future. Also it won't be more than 5 girls. Leave your reviews. Whether you loved it or hate it. But those who just have only ugly criticism, they can pull the stick from their asses.
