A/N: just a few swears but otherwise, family friendly ;3

Imelda let out a small exhale as she made her way through the streets, lit up by bright colors. She nodded at bypassing skeletons, even giving them small smiles. She was in a pretty good mood lately, ever since she reunited with her husband. She hadn't seen him all day, though, and was curious to know what trouble he was getting himself into.

She then figured he was probably in Shantytown with his old friends, so she was making her way there. She wanted to be nicer to people, so when she got there she decided she was going to be polite and non-judgmental.

As she made her way down the docks of the Shantytown, she kept getting greeted by the skeletons she passed. Rather they were standing outside their homes or sitting at a table playing a card game, they would acknowledge her presence and give her a welcoming smile. She wasn't used to getting so much attention all at once, but nevertheless she returned the kindness at the seemingly friendly people.

Just as she was about to ask somewhere if they'd seen Hector, she heard a soft tune of the guitar and a familiar voice coming from inside one of the small homes, near the edge of the dock. She turned her head over and instantly realized that it was indeed her husband playing something. She grinned and stepped up, but stopped upon hearing him sing certain lyrics.

"Well, everyone knows Juanita, her eyes each a different color.."

Imelda narrowed her eyes, beginning to get suspicious. Sure, it could've just been a song. But she knew Hector, and knew he really only sang songs that were near and dear to him. And those were typically songs he wrote himself, so she started to wonder to herself, Who's Juanita...?

"Her teeth stick out and her chin goes in.." He sang, making Imelda growl a bit. She didn't need to hear anymore. "And her—"

"HECTOR!"

Hector immediately jumped and yelped, seeing his angry wife storm in. "Aye mi amor, what's wrong?" He asked, frightened but also concerned.

"WHO THE FUCK IS JUANITA?!" She yelled, loud enough for the skeletons outside to hear. She stepped over to Hector, who was leaning back in his chair.

"Wh-what..?" He asked, but then realized she must've heard him singing. "Imelda, querida—"

"ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME WITH A PUTA?!" She asked, making him begin to laugh. His response only added to her fury, "WHATS SO FUNNY, HUH?! You lying, no-good, son of a—"

Before she could continue her ramble of insults, Hector pulled her down into his lap and kissed her firmly. She was taken aback and tried pulling away at first, feeling beyond pissed at him. But the longer their mouths made contact, the less angry she felt. She closed her eyes and decided to kiss him back, almost forgetting why she was even mad at him.

After almost a full minute, Hector pulled away with a small smile, knowing he'd calmed her down. It took Imelda a second to open her eyes and realize what just happened, but she wasn't really complaining.

"Imelda, mi todo, I would never cheat on you." He said in an assuring voice, caressing her face. "Everyone Knows Juanita is just a bar song I learned a few decades ago. It was my friend, Chicharron's favorite. He was forgotten, but I still sing it to him, even if he isn't here."

Imelda blinked, now feeling embarrassed from her reaction a minute ago. "Oh..I-I'm sorry, I didn't know. I was worried you were cheating on me." She said with an awkward chuckle, averting her eyes away.

Hector chuckled and gave her another kiss, brief but sweet. "I would never, amor. You're the only one for me." He assured, pulling her even closer. He began to sing softly to her, "Bésame, bésame mucho. Como si fuera esta noche la última vez. Bésame, bésame mucho. Que tengo miedo a perderte, perderte después.."

Imelda chuckled and rolled her eyes, wrapping her arms and legs around him. "Quiero tenerte muy cerca. Mirarme en tus ojos, verte junto a mí. Piensa que tal vez mañana. Yo ya estaré lejos, muy lejos de ti..." She sang, staring into his eyes.

Hector chuckled softly and whispered to her, "Bésame, bebé."

Imelda giggled and instantly kissed him again, forgetting why she was even mad in the first place.
