Extreme pain. That was the first sensation that he felt after groggily waking up. Looking around he could see that he was in a crater in a forest, though how he got there was completely unknown.
As he stood, blue eyes surveyed his surroundings and tried to make sense out of what he was seeing. He could only silently wonder to himself how he had gotten here, though he was only drawing a blank.
"What the hell happened to me?" He whispered to himself as he slowly began to make his way out of the crater. Luckily the pain he was feeling was subsiding rapidly. As he finally reached the top of the crater he finally took in his surroundings.
There was nothing but a red looking forest for as far as his eyes could see with a lot of mountains. Needing to get a better vantage point, Naruto quickly jumped to the top of one of the trees. He looked around and couldn't find any form of civilization.
Having no other choice Naruto quickly made his way back towards the ground. As he landed back on the floor he took in his appearance. His orange and blue jumpsuit that he wore was in tatters, with a large hole almost by his chest.
By what he could feel of the material the hole was also on the back of his clothes. It was as he looked at this particular hole that he remembered what had happened. That bastard Sasuke had left the village, and Naruto had been a part of the retrieval team.
There had been many enemies, which forced each member of the team to have to face one. Luckily Lee had arrived to take the last guy, Kimimaro if he remembered right, off of his hands.
Then he was finally able to catch up to Sasuke, though he didn't want to return home with him. A fight had ensued shortly after, and both of them had used their darker powers to try and get the upper hand over the other.
It was then, in the final moment, that he and Sasuke had used their strongest Jutsu to clash with one another. Naruto had used his Rasengan, and Sasuke had used Chidori. From there he remembered a white flash of light, then nothing before waking up.
"Oh great. Did that bastard move me away from the valley or something. Wait until I get my hands on him, I'll kick his ass." Said the blond as that was the only thing that he could think of.
It was at this point that Naruto noticed another problem, he was lost. At the moment he had no idea where he was, nor was he in the best shape since he could feel the pain his body was in, but he had no choice.
He needed to get back to the village and report his failure to bring Sasuke back to everyone. For now though he had to figure out which way to go. Naruto took a seat on the ground to both allow his body to get some rest, along with thinking on which way he should try heading.
"I have no clue where I am, but I have to get back to the village. What can I do?" Thought the blond before he remembered one thing that might be able to help him out in this situation.
The blond jumped back to his feet with a smile, before he bit his thumb. He quickly went through a practiced set of hand signs before slamming his palm onto the ground with a shout of "Summoning Jutsu!". He waited a few seconds before he realized that nothing was happening, which wasn't a good thing for him.
While he knew he was tired, he also knew that he had put enough chakra into the jutsu to at least get Gamabunta, if not one of his sons. He silently wondered to himself what had happened, but he couldn't dwell on it for too long.
His danger senses began to tingle, and the reason was soon revealed to the blond. He watched as what appeared to be a huge black wolf with, what he could only assume was, bones all over its body.
In truth the creature looked terrifying with its large, almost ten meters tall, frame and snarling maw, but what scared Naruto even more was that the creature wasn't alone. He watched as at least ten more of the creatures, though luckily none as big as the first, came out of the woods surrounding him.
Naruto instantly began slowly backing up. "What the hell are these things?" Thought the blond a little fearfully. He wasn't in top shape, and these creatures looked both powerful and hungry.
He wasn't really sure if he could fight them, and with the way his body was feeling he wasn't sure he could outrun them either. "Where the fuck am I?" He asked silently as he had never seen or even heard of creatures like this before.
It was at this moment that the largest of the creatures let out a deafening howl. Naruto was immediately more alert, a choice which proved beneficial since the other wolves immediately began rushing at him.
Naruto just tensed his legs and waited for the perfect moment. As soon as the creatures were almost upon him Naruto jumped, easily clearing them all. He watched as the numerous bodies crashed into each other with angry growls, though he wasn't keen on waiting to see their reactions.
As soon as his feet touched the ground Naruto took off in a random direction. He would have to lose these freaks before he could even begin to think about going home, which would be easy.
At least it should've been. Naruto was nothing more than a blur passing amongst the trees, but somehow the creatures were keeping up with him which showed their own incredible speed.
Naruto wanted to look back and see just how close to him they were, but the sounds of their growling and howling from behind him only had the effect of wanting to make him go faster, a notion that he was happy to oblige to.
He instantly began going faster, but the wolves seemed to be doing the same. They must've really wanted to have him for dinner, the persistent bastards. It was here that Naruto got another great idea.
He quickly formed a familiar crossed shape hand sign. With a simple shout of "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" the forest was instantly filled with two hundred more Narutos. "SCATTER!" He shouted.
And that's what they all did. They each began heading off into random directions to throw off their creator's pursuers, which seemed to work as the wolves grew confused for a second before they started chasing a few random clones and ripping them apart.
Naruto wasted no time in trying to get away. He was just glad that his plan had worked, though that happiness wouldn't last long. It was at this moment that his body reminded him that he was low on chakra and injured.
With a pulse of pain Naruto dropped from the trees and, due to his speed, rolled and bounced along the ground until he landed on something hard. As Naruto was writhing in pain on the ground he looked at what he had landed on.
It was some type of track made of metal and wood. Before he could try and figure out what it was for he heard a loud shrieking sound. As he looked up his eyes widened in horror. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me." Said the blond.
The reason for this was the large black monstrosity heading right towards him, clearly using the tracks below him to move. It was at this point that Naruto remembered where he had seen these type of tracks before.
It was during the mission to the Land of Snow, now Spring, where he was first introduced to the mechanical wonder known as a train. And, just like last time, this experience wasn't going to be a good one, though he had to wonder even more where he was to see a train. Naruto tried to get up, but his body refused to follow his commands.
"Help me out here, you stupid fox." Thought Naruto, but he received no answer from the Kyuubi. Was the fox willing to let them both die, or was something else going on. Seeing as he had no other option Naruto continued to try and get up, but was failing.
"Is this really how it ends for me?" Whispered the blond in a bit of fear as he was still on his back and unable to move. He could hear the trains whistle ringing off in warning, and soon what he assumed was brakes since the train started slowing down some, but it wouldn't be able to stop in time.
Naruto continued to try and move, using all of the willpower he could muster, but it was a hopeless endeavor. Seeing the train almost upon Naruto closed his eyes and got ready for the impact as best as he could.
"I'm sorry, everyone, I failed. I guess I won't be able to keep any of my promises after all." He thought to himself sadly as he remembered everyone he would be leaving behind.
He was both sad, since he wouldn't be able to reach his goals, and angry at Sasuke for causing this whole mess, but there was nothing he could do about any of this now. So he waited for the end, though it appeared that someone else had different plans for him.
As Naruto was laying there with his eyes closed he didn't notice the figure rushing towards his position on foot. He only took notice of the person when he felt himself being lifted in a bridal carry.
His eyes snapped open as he felt himself being lifted and moved, with the train shooting through his previous position soon after. It was then that Naruto took in the appearance of his savior.
He was an older man with graying black spiky hair and stubble on his chin. He had vermillion colored eyes and was wearing a red tattered cloak with a gray dress shirt, though this was all Naruto could see due to his position.
"Are you okay, kid? You almost got in a real nasty accident there." Spoke the man who Naruto could smell the alcohol on his breath.. Naruto would've liked to answer him, but the stress and trials of the day had finally taken a toll on him.
It was because of this that he passed out in the strangers arms, which got an annoyed grunt from the man. "What the hell happened to this kid?" The man wondered to himself as he looked over the boy.
Hopefully he would be able to get answers once the blond was in a better condition, but for now he would have to try and get him some help. He would've cursed whatever itch in his mind had brought him to this blasted forest, but couldn't bring himself to.
That itch had allowed him to save some poor kids life, so he was glad for the feeling he had gotten. "I guess I'll take you back to Beacon so that the nurse can check up on you since we're so close to there." Said the man as he took off in a seemingly random direction.
"I knew I should've stayed away from that blasted school today and just get drunk. I always get into some weird shit when I go around Oz, though my semblance might be to blame also." Mumbled the man as he continued to run with the blond in his arms.
While he was glad that he had saved the kids life, he was also annoyed by some of the weird situations he found himself in when around Ozpin, which he was earlier since he had been reporting some info to the man.
Naruto released a pained grumble which caught the attention of the man. Seeing that the kid still seemed to be in a bad condition the man decided to speed up a bit to get to his destination faster.

Blue eyes once more opened up from unconsciousness for the second time in just a few hours. Once more Naruto looked around to try and figure out where the hell he was. At least this time he appeared to be in a hospital room of sorts and not in the middle of the woods.
As he sat up and rubbed his head due to the bit of pain he was feeling he couldn't help but recall what had happened to him. "What the fuck were those things, and who was that guy who saved me?" Whispered the blond to himself.
It was at that moment that Naruto noticed that he was in just his boxers, with his belongings on a table across the room. He quickly got up out of the bed that he was laying in and walked over to the table.
He was glad that his body seemed to be in a better condition than the last time he had woken up, and his chakra reserves were almost halfway full as well. As he began getting redressed in his still dirty clothes he noticed something was missing.
Everything was still there except for his weapons pouches. That was an obvious decision to make as he doubted that people wanted weapons in hospitals. He was also glad to see that his necklace was still there.
As he finally finished redressing himself he walked out of the room to find himself in a large hallway. Looking both ways the blond shrugged before heading left, having no idea where he was or where he was going.
He was trying to find someone who worked here so that he could retrieve his weapons and get directions on how to get back home, since he was sure that this wasn't the hospital in the Hidden Leaf.
As Naruto continued to walk down the halls he noticed that there were numerous doors lining the walls, but he couldn't open any of them. The each had some weird mechanical panel on the wall beside them that would beep when he tried to open them.
Naruto continued walking until he reached one of the windows lining the corridor and looked outside and what he saw shocked the hell out of him. It wasn't just the weird architecture and everything, but the numerous things he saw flying around outside.
Naruto watched in shock as the weird contraptions landed in the yard, let people of or picked them up, and then took off into the sky again. In this moment Naruto once more found himself wondering where the hell he was, because he had never seen any flying machines before.
While Naruto really wanted to continue watching the strange flying machines, he wanted to find out what was going on and where the hell he was even more. With that Naruto tore himself away from the window and continued to try and find either someone inside the building or someway out of it.
The entire thing was huge, definitely the largest building he had ever been in, and he didn't want to break one of the windows to get out. He didn't think that whoever was in charge would like that, and so his search continued.
He continued walking down corridor after corridor while getting annoyed. "You know what, screw this entire place." Grumbled the boy as he began running through the hallways now.
He would've used his clones, but he had no doubt that they might get lost in this huge building even if they did find an exit, and even if they didn't they would've still had to come and try to find him, which they would probably get lost by doing so.
Clones were good for a fight or distraction, not for intelligence gathering. That meant that he was on his own. With that he continued running down each corridor, nothing but a blur to his surroundings as he tried to find anyone or an exit.
It was a few minutes later that he finally found one. He was now standing on a balcony overlooking the yard, and he could see people walking down below. Without a second thought Naruto jumped down from the balcony.
As he silently landed before the crowd he began hearing the people before him speaking. "How the fuck did that kid take a fall from that height?"
"Is he one of the teacher's kid?"
"That brat's gotta be crazy to jump from way up there."
"Do you guys think he's some type of faunus?" It was this last question that caught Naruto's attention the most. What the hell was a faunus, and why did they think that he was one.
It was also at this moment that Naruto began noticing that everyone before him looked to be around seventeen or so. He also began noticing that some of them had strange animal features, which was another thing he had never seen before.
Of course there were people like Orochimaru, who had characteristics of a snake, along with people like the Inuzukas, but none of them had actual animal parts. Again Naruto found the main question running through his mind once more, where the hell was he? Putting all of these questions aside, Naruto decided to get some answers.
"Hi, can anyone tell me where I am?" Asked the blond while scratching the back of his head, which got several wide eyed looks from the teens before him. It was then that a girl who had what looked like a cat tail approached him from the crowd.
She had blond hair that was in a bob style and blue eyes, just like his. She wore a black battle skirt with white stripes going through and a white jacket with some weird symbol in black on the breast of it. She had on a pair of knee high boots that were black with white straps. She also had some strange metallic looking device that Naruto didn't recognize on her waist.
"Hey, kid, are you lost or something?" Asked the girl in a soothing manner. She, along with everyone else, was wondering how the fuck a kid got on the school grounds and lost. She waited for an answer, but was quick to notice that the kid seemed distracted by something behind her.
As she looked back she was quick to notice what had the other blonds attention. Seeing how his eyes moved confirmed that he was watching her tail as it moved, though his look wasn't anger or hatred, but amazement.
"How did you get a tail?" Asked the blond with his head tilted and eyes closed, something that the girl would admit made him look like a fox. Maybe he was a faunus after all.
"I was born with it, just like most of us faunus are born with their animal traits." Said the girl, but the next set of words from Naruto floored her.
"What's a faunus? I've never really heard about anything like that, nor have I ever really seen people with animal parts before in the village or outside of it, well at least not naturally for sure." Said Naruto with even more curiosity.
"You mean to tell me you don't know what a faunus is?" Asked the girl in shock, which her new schoolmates also seemed to share in if the murmurs she could hear was anything to go by. She had thought that the whiskers on the boy's cheeks might be his animal trait, but she might be wrong.
Naruto just shook his head no, which prompted the girl to ask another question. "Hey, kid, where exactly are you from?" She asked as it sounded like a place she would love to visit. If this kid was a sign of his people, and none of them had ever seen or even had an idea what faunus were, then they might not be too quick to discriminate against them.
Of course they would have to explain what a faunus was, but hopefully once they showed that they were basically the same as a human, just with a few extra features, then hopefully they wouldn't have any problems.
"I'm from the Hidden Leaf Village in The Land of Fire, and I really need to get back home to report my mission failure." Said Naruto. Once more what he said got shocked looks from everyone around him.
"Wait, are you trying to tell me that you were on some type of mission? How old are you?" Asked the girl in a mixture of shock, surprise, and confusion. Once more Naruto gave her a confused look as he answered.
"I'm twelve, and of course I was on a mission. Why does that seem to surprise you, don't you guys go on missions? Which village are you from anyway?" Asked the blond as he started noticing a lack of headbands on anyone to distinguish their village.
Before anyone could say anything a new voice interrupted. "There you are, young man. I'm surprised you're up already based on the condition you were brought here in." Said the voice from behind Naruto.
As he turned around he finally got a view of the man. He was a tall man with silver hair and brown eyes with black eyebrows. He wore an unzipped black suit over a green buttoned vest and green shirt with long dark green pants and black shoes.
He was also wearing a pair of shaded glasses, a cowl on his neck with a cross shaped pin on it, and had a cup with an unknown beverage in his left hand, and a weird looking cane in his right.
Seeing the man coming towards them the girl began to speak. "Headmaster, sir, please don't tell me that this kid is allowed on missions already?" Asked the girl while jumping to the conclusion that the boy worked for the headmaster, since he seemed to know him.
"I would think that he's a bit too young, wouldn't you?" Asked the headmaster with a raised eyebrow, which got the girl to relax a bit. "Why don't you follow me to my office and tell me what this is all about, Ms. Smith, while the rest of you new students get ready for the assembly. " Finished the man.
With that all of the rest of teens began heading into the building leaving Naruto with the two still unnamed people. "Who the hell are you?" Asked Naruto a bit rudely to the man. This caused the girl to look at him in slight shock, and the man to look at him in slight amusement.
"Of course, how rude of me. My name is Professor Ozpin, and I'm the headmaster here at Beacon Academy. If you didn't already know then the young lady beside me is Ms. Gabriel Smith. What's your name, young man?" He asked after gesturing to the girl with the cat tail.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, future Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, believe it. Nice to meet ya, old man." Replied Naruto in a boisterous tone and large smile while pointing at himself with his thumb. Once more the girl looked at Naruto in shock, though Ozpin didn't seem to mind.
"Well, I am quite old, but I've never heard of this Hidden Leaf, or even this Hokage that you speak of. Would you mind explaining them to me?" Asked the man. Once more Naruto felt his confusion rise.
He wasn't the most academic student, but even he knew that his home was one of the five major villages, the strongest one to be exact from what he sometimes heard. So for someone to say that they had no idea what it was didn't feel right to him.
"Is this some type of trick or something?" Asked the blond suspiciously as he stopped walking. "There's no way that you've never heard of the Hidden Leaf. It's one of the strongest ninja villages."
This statement got mixed reactions from both Ozpin and Gabriel. Gabriel, for her part, found the whole scene amusing. All she saw was a kid playing ninja, which wasn't uncommon since ninjas were pretty mainstream entertainment nowadays. So to her she found nothing wrong with the situation.
Ozpin though, having way more experience, saw something else. "Ninja huh, you don't say." Said Ozpin in an intrigued whisper. He didn't know if what the boy was saying was true, but by the way the kid was acting it either was, or he truly believed it was.
It wasn't impossible for there to be groups of people out there training to be ninjas or other things, the Branwen Tribe popped into his mind, but the real question was why, and what were they being trained for.
"Well I'd like to hear all about it once we reach my office." Said Ozpin for Naruto to hear, but the boy still hadn't moved and was giving them both suspicious looks. Ozpin could see the distrust growing in the boy, and knew he had to do something about it quickly.
Before he could do anything Gabriel walked forward and kneeled down in front of the boy. "Hey, Naruto, I know that you might be a bit confused right now, but trust me when I say that you can trust the headmaster. I'm sure that he'll help you get whatever answers that you're looking for, okay." She said with a comforting smile on her face.
Naruto observed the girl for almost a full minute to try and discern if she was lying to him, but could find no traces of deceit. Seeing this the youngest blond nodded, which got a happy smile from Gabriel.
She then got up and began walking again, with Naruto now following behind her and the headmaster. As she looked at Ozpin he gave her an approving nod for how she had handled the situation.
"Now, Ms. Smith, would you kindly inform me of what I missed." Said the headmaster as the two began talking about what all had transpired before he had shown up, some of which even surprised Ozpin.
Naruto just followed behind the two silently as he vaguely listened in on their conversation. He was mostly thinking about everything that had happened so far though. He had seen a lot of weird things since he woke up the first time, and he couldn't help but wonder what it all meant.
It wasn't long before they stopped in front of what looked like a folded door to Naruto. "You have my thanks for everything, Ms. Smith. You should probably go and get ready for the assembly as well." Said Ozpin to Gabriel.
"Of course, sir. Goodbye, and to you as well, Naruto. I hope that I'll see you around again so that you can tell me more about your home." She said while waving at Naruto as she began to leave.
"Sure, I'd love to." He replied as he was always happy to talk about his home. With that the two watched as Gabriel walked down the hall before disappearing behind a corner. Naruto then turned his attention to the man who was pushing a button on the wall.
Soon the folded doors before Naruto parted to reveal a small box room behind it. "Well, in you go." Said Ozpin. He was quite surprised when Naruto jumped back and looked at him even more suspiciously.
"Is that some type of cell or something?" Asked the boy while looking at the small room. Ozpin was once more intrigued by the boys lack of knowledge of technology. He had been watching him from he was in the nurses office, and had seen all of his reactions.
"No, this is an elevator. It's used to take us to the different floors without us having to walk all the way up or down using the stairs." Said the man. Seeing that Naruto was still suspicious Ozpin stepped into the elevator.
"See, it's perfectly safe." He said while gesturing to the spot beside him for the boy to enter while also making sure to keep his arm in the way to stop the doors from closing. He watched as Naruto tentatively walked towards the elevator.
"Don't worry, I use these things every day and have never had any type of problem." Said Ozpin. Naruto finally stepped into the elevator, though he did look a bit nervous still. Seeing that the final passenger was now on board, Ozpin removed his hand and pressed the button for his office.
He watched as Naruto tensed even more as the door closed, but made no other motion. That changed as the elevator began its ascent. Naruto instantly grabbed the railing on the wall and was looking around frantically.
"What the hell's going on?" Asked the boy in a bit of a panic. Ozpin might've found some amusement from the scene, but knew he had to calm the boy down if the denting railing was anything to go by.
"Don't worry it's just lifting us up to a higher floor as I explained to you earlier. You aren't in any danger at the moment." He said while he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, his cane now being held in the same one as his cocoa.
The tension bled away a bit from Naruto as he began to calm down. Luckily it wasn't long before the elevator stopped and the doors opened, allowing Naruto to get his first glimpse of Ozpin's office.
"Wow, this is so cool." Said the boy as he stepped out of the elevator and began looking around the room. The entire office was huge, but it only had a single desk in it that was green and curved with two chairs, one for Ozpin and one for his guests.
There was also a table with a flower pot on it against the wall between the two separate elevator doors, and gears lining the walls and ceiling. He could also see the large clock hands through the clear glass.
"This is even cooler than the old man's office." Whispered Naruto as he began thinking up new designs for the Hokage office when he got it.
"I'm glad that you like it, but maybe it's time that we both try and get some information." Said Ozpin while gesturing towards the chair for Naruto to take a seat, which he did. After they were both seated Ozpin began to speak again.
"So, Naruto, would you mind telling me what you were doing in the Fall Forest, and why you were on the train tracks?" Asked the man as he was wondering if someone had put the boy there, or if he had just stumbled there by accident.
"In truth I don't really know how I got in the forest. The last thing that I remember was being in a fight in a completely different location before I woke up in the middle of the forest and was attacked by those weird creatures."
This caused Ozpin to raise a curious eyebrow. "Oh, and why were you in a fight?" He asked, which caused Naruto to give him a hesitant look.
"I'd rather not say." Was his nervous reply, and Ozpin knew better than to try and force the information out of the boy.
"That's fine, I understand. Would you be able to describe the creatures you mentioned then?" He asked to change the subject.
"Yeah, they're kinda hard to forget. The looked like black wolves with bones coming out of their bodies. One of them was even around ten meters, though I've seen bigger creatures." Said the blond with a shrug at the end.
"And do you have any idea what those creatures were?" Asked Ozpin as Naruto's answer would help him piece this puzzle together some more.
"No, I've never seen anything like those things. Do you have any idea what they were?" Asked the blond, to which Ozpin nodded. Before he answered he opened a drawer in his desk and pulled out a white rectangular object.
As he pulled it open revealing a screen between the two parts he pressed a few buttons before he brought up what he was looking for on screen. He then turned the screen towards Naruto who noticed a picture of the creatures on it.
"Is this the creatures that attacked you?" He asked. Naruto shook off his shock at the new technology when he noticed the picture before nodding.
"Yeah, that's it. What the hell are those things?" Asked Naruto as he was really interested in what those things were.
"Those creature are called Grimm, and those were just one kind of them known as Beowolves." This caused Naruto's eyes to widen.
"You mean that there are even different types of those things?"
"Yes, would you like to see them?" Asked the man, to which Naruto nodded. Ozpin then went and opened more images on his device before handing it to Naruto. The boy quickly went through the pictures and saw all of the different types of Grimm.
He noticed that they were all different types of animals that he recognized, but he had to wonder why they looked the way they did. "There are so many different kinds of them. Where do they even come from?" Ozpin sighed before he answered.
"There are many speculations, but nobody really knows. All that we do know is that they are the enemy of humanity and want nothing more than to eradicate us, along with the fact that they are drawn to negative emotions." Said the headmaster.
Naruto nodded at the explanation before he asked another question. "What is this thing anyway?" He asked curiously while looking over the device in his hands.
"That is what we call a scroll. It has many features that you can learn about if you want."
"This isn't a scroll, or at least none like I've ever seen before." Said the boy while still marveling at the device he held in his hand.
"Yes, I've noticed that you seem surprised by even the most basic information and technology, which begs the question of where you're from." Said the headmaster.
"I already told you where I'm from, the Hidden Leaf."
"Yes, but I've never heard of a place like that. Where exactly can your home be found so that we can help get you back?" Asked Ozpin.
"It's in the Land of Fire, and why do you keep saying that you've never heard of it. It's one of the five major villages, and everyone knows about it." Replied Naruto who was getting a bit annoyed that these people were acting like they had never heard of his home before.
What if they were trying to trap him? Trying to trick him or keep him hostage. What if this was an enemy village, and they wanted to try and get information or something from him? With these thoughts Naruto's apprehension rose.
Ozpin was once more quick to notice the changes in the boy's demeanor, so he would try and placate him. "What I'm saying is no trick. I have been around for a long time, and I know more about the world than almost anyone else. So believe me when I say that there has never been any record of this Land of Fire, or this Hidden Leaf Village that you speak of."
"You're lying! You're just trying to trick me, but it won't work." Said the boy as he jumped up from his seat. Ozpin could see that the situation was now well out of hand, but there might be one way to prove his theory.
"Tell me, Naruto, do you ever take the time to just look at the moon where you're from?" Naruto was once more confused by the weird question, but answered anyway.
"Of course I do, but what does that have to do with anything?" He asked suspiciously.
"Why don't you take a look at the moon now, and tell me if you see anything wrong with it." Said Ozpin. He had noticed that it was starting to get dark, and the moon was now in the sky.
According to how Naruto reacted to seeing the moon it would let him know if Naruto was from somewhere on Remnant that he just didn't know about, or if his more bizarre theories were correct.
Naruto was confused by the request, but saw no harm in doing so. He tentatively walked towards a window, while making sure to keep some attention on Ozpin, and looked out at the moon in the sky.
The moon, which now somehow had a huge chunk blown off of it, with the pieces still floating nearby. Naruto's suspicion instantly turned to shock. "What the fuck happened to the moon? I'm sure it wasn't like that the last time I saw it. What the fuck is going on here?" Thought the blond frantically as he dropped to his knees while breathing heavily.
Ozpin was by his side in an instant as he had noticed that Naruto was beginning to have a panic attack. "Just take your time and breathe." He tried to coax the boy soothingly. Based on this reaction it was now one-hundred percent sure that the boy wasn't from Remnant, which begged the question of where he actually came from and how he ended up here.
"This has got to be an illusion?" Thought Naruto as he began to try and dispel it, but nothing happened. Naruto had never cursed his inability to use or dispel Illusionary Techniques as much as he did now.
It wasn't long before Naruto passed out once more from hyperventilating, the shock being too much for him to handle. Ozpin sighed as he now held the boy's unconscious body in his arms.
Luckily for him one of the elevator doors opened to reveal two familiar figures to the man. "Glynda, Qrow, how nice of you all to finally join me." He said, which caused a cross look to appear on Glynda's face.
"My apologies, headmaster, but I had to force a certain someone to wake up after he got drunk." Said Glynda as she was shooting a sour look at Qrow, who was the man that rescued Naruto from getting run over by a train.
Glynda was also an older woman with blond hair and green eyes that were covered by glasses. She wore dark blue pants and a navy blue frilled shirt with black heels. "I understand, Glynda." He said getting a nod from the woman.
"What the hell happened to the kid? I thought that your message said he was awake and looked fine?" Asked Qrow curiously.
"Yes, well, it seems that this boy is full of more puzzles than anyone could've ever thought." Said Ozpin as he picked the boy up and began walking towards the elevator, with Qrow and Glynda quickly moving to follow.
It was at this time that Ozpin began telling the two about his observations of the boy and what he had learned. The two found it hard to believe at first, but then they remembered what they actually knew about this world.
They all agreed that many things were possible, especially if two beings in particular had any part in it, which raised even more questions. It was as the elevator door finally opened to allow everyone off that Ozpin placed Naruto in Qrow's hands.
"Take him back to the infirmary, and stay there in case he wakes up since we wouldn't want him panicking again. Me and Glynda have to go and give the freshman their induction assembly, and we'll come and join you when we're done."
Qrow nodded at this as he left to once more take the boy to the infirmary. "Who knew that you'd end up being such a headache." Grumbled the man as he finally returned to the infirmary and placed the boy on the bed he had previously occupied.
Qrow then pulled up a chair and sat down, while pulling a flask out of his pocket and taking a large gulp. "I'm really going to need something way stronger than this to get through all this bullshit." He grumbled again as he looked at his flask.
Soon Qrow found himself looking over the boy with a bit of sadness. He couldn't even begin to imagine what he was going through. If Ozpin's theory was right, which Qrow believed it was, then this kid had probably just lost everything he knew.
The running theories for how the boy had gotten here was either time travel, or some type of alternate dimension, none of which Remnant had the technology to do. That meant that there was no way at this point to do anything for the boy.
A kid, who was the same age as his niece, was never supposed to go through something like that. Qrow released a sigh as he took another swig from his flask. "I really hope that you can get through this, kid." He whispered to himself.

For the third time today Naruto found himself waking up from unconsciousness. "Uh, what the hell happened? I had the weirdest dream." Said the blond. As he opened his eyes he saw a familiar room, and as he looked over to his side he saw three figures, two of which he had already seen.
"I see that you've finally woken up." Said the voice of Ozpin.
"So that wasn't a dream? Everything that I learned and saw was actually real?" Asked the boy as he began to panic again. This time Ozpin was more prepared as he walked up to the bed.
"Calm down, everything is going to be fine. I know that this is all a lot to take in, but I promise that I'll do my best to help you." Said Ozpin as he tried to get Naruto to calm down. Luckily it worked this time as Naruto's breathing slowed until it was back to normal.
"What the hell happened to me?" Asked Naruto, as he was really wondering how any of this was possible. A lot of what he had seen over the past few hours were beginning to make since, though.
Things that he was sure wasn't in his world, from the technology to the creatures of Grimm and faunus alike. Things like that were a little hard not to notice, after all. "Well we're still working on a few theories, but the main two are either time travel, or dimensional travel." Said Ozpin.
"Is there any way for me to get back home?" Asked Naruto with hope filling his voice. It actually made all of the adults a little sad that they would have to crush that hope.
"While this world is quite technologically advanced, we still don't have anything that would allow us to return you home. I'm sorry to tell you this, Naruto, but for now you're stuck here." Instantly the light seemed to leave Naruto's eyes.
It was at this time that Glynda decided to speak. "Don't worry, Naruto, new technology is always being invented. For all we know there could possibly be someone working on what you need right now, so don't give up hope." She said trying to get the boy out of his slump.
While normally she was strict with her students Naruto was just a twelve year old boy, who had apparently just found out that he might never see anyone or anything he knew ever again. So it was understandable why she was a little softer with him.
She was glad when she saw a spark of life appear back in the boy's eyes. "You're right. I refuse to just give up. Even if nobody else in this world is doing anything, I'll find a way home myself if I have to. Believe it! Thanks, um, who are you?" Asked the blond in confusion at the end.
"Ah yes, these are my colleagues Glynda Goodwitch, and I believe you've already met Qrow Branwen." Said Ozpin in response to the question. It was at this point that Naruto turned his attention towards Qrow.
"You're the guy that saved me from the train." started Naruto before he got off the bed and bowed at the waist. "I just want to say thank you for saving my life, even though you had no real reason to do so, and thank you all for everything you're doing for me." He finished as he stood up.
"You're welcome, kid, though your situation really sucks." Said Qrow. Naruto just scratched the back of his head with a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah, it does, but I'm not giving up. If there's any way for me to return home then I'm going to find it, believe it." Said Naruto with his signature grin on his face. The adults smiled as Ozpin began to speak.
"Well, Naruto, while you're here we're going to have to figure out what to do with you. For tonight you can use one of the dorms if you don't want to stay in the infirmary, and by tomorrow we'll hopefully have a better idea on how to proceed."
Naruto nodded at this before he was gestured to follow Ozpin as everyone walked out of the infirmary. They walked in silence, everyone immersed in their own thoughts, before they stopped in front of one of the doors that Naruto had tried to open earlier.
He watched as Ozpin pulled out his scroll, this worlds version not his, and waved it in front of the panel on the door. Instantly there was a beep as the door opened and he and Ozpin stepped inside.
The room was simple with four beds, four dressers and a single large window to see the outside. There was also two doors which were opened, one that lead into the closet and the other into what looked like a bathroom.
You'll be staying here for the night. You can take a shower and I'll try and get you a change of clothes." Started the headmaster before the sound of Naruto's stomach growling caught his attention. "I'll also bring you something to eat from the cafeteria." He finished.
Naruto just blushed a bit in embarrassment before he thanked the man once more. With a nod Ozpin turned around and joined his colleagues in the hall, with the door closing automatically behind him.
They all waited before they were a safe enough distance away from the room before they began speaking again. "So, what's the plan here?" Asked Qrow, wanting to know what they were going to do with everything they had learned.
"It's quite simple, really, we're going to find out what we can from the boy and see if he'd be any help to our cause." Replied Ozpin, which caused Qrow to frown a bit.
"Isn't he a bit too young to be of any use to us right now?" He asked.
"Of course he is. I'm not planning on trying to send him out on missions or anything tomorrow, but when he's older and has more experience with this word."
"Are you sure that he'll be of any use to us? He doesn't really seem like much right now to me." Inquired Glynda.
"Oh yes he is. I managed to get a read on him when he fainted in my office and, while the boy doesn't possess and Aura, what he does possess is an abundance of power that I've never felt before in a single person. If he knows how to use that power then he can be an invaluable asset against Salem."
This got his two companions to nod in acceptance. Ozpin was a master Aura user, so if he said that he sensed great power in the boy then there was no reason to doubt him. "So what are we going to do with him for now?" Asked Glynda.
"Well, for now, I'm going to get the boy some food and a change of clothes. You two can go and wait for me in my office until I'm done." Glynda and Qrow once more nodded before they separated at the next juncture, each headed to their destinations.

Back with Naruto he had taken a seat on the bed and began contemplating all of the events that had happened. Who would've ever thought that he would somehow end up in a new time or dimension.
He then began wondering what was happening back home. He was sure that everyone was worried since he was missing, but he would be sure to get back to them all one day. Then he'd go and drag Sasuke's arrogant ass back home for Sakura if he hadn't returned yet.
It was a few seconds later that Naruto realized he was silently crying when he felt his tears falling. He couldn't help it, why the hell did something like this have to happen to him?
It was at this moment that he began having another thought. The last thing he remembered before waking up in the forest was him and Sasuke clashing jutsu, so maybe Sasuke was somewhere here as well.
If that was the case then he'd have to find him so that they can try and find a way home together. While he was having these thoughts Naruto heard a knock on the door. He quickly wiped his tears away and walked towards the door before opening it.
It was revealed to be Ozpin with a tray with some food on it in his right hand, and some clothes, a towel, and a few hygiene products in his left. "These clothes might be a bit too big, but they should work for now. Tomorrow I'll arrange for you to go to the city so that you can get whatever you might need." Said Ozpin.
Naruto was once more surprised and thankful for the man's generosity, but he still didn't fully trust him. He had already learned that this was some type of school, and all of the people he had met so far were teachers, though he wasn't sure about Qrow.
He had made the decision to never trust people too much when they seemed too nice, since the last time he had done so had almost ended with him losing his life to Mizuki. So instead he would keep his eyes and ears opened just in case.
"Thank you, again, for everything. I don't know how I'll ever repay you." Said the blond with a smile.
"It's no problem at all. Just rest up and tomorrow I'll have someone come and find you so that we can let you know what's being done." As Ozpin finished speaking Naruto nodded in affirmation to him. Before he left Ozpin decided to say one final thing.
"You know I've been alive for a while, and I thought there was nothing else that could surprise me, but then you showed up and proved me wrong." He said in an amused tone.
"Yeah, I've always been known for being unpredictable and seemingly doing the impossible." Said the blond while scratching the back of his head. Ozpin just gave him an amused smile before turning and walking away.
With that Naruto headed into the shower to get cleaned up. When he was done he quickly ate the food he had received and the picked a random bed to try and get some sleep, even though he had done so much sleeping already.

It wasn't long before Ozpin returned to his office to find Glynda and Qrow waiting for him as they were instructed to. As he entered he immediately had the two of their attention on him.
Ozpin quickly took the seat behind his desk before he began to speak. "So, do any of you have a plan for what we should do with the boy? I would've suggested he stay here at the school, but he's too young and has no knowledge of this world which would draw too much attention."
The two other adults nodded before Glynda spoke. He's going to need to be taught all of this stuff, which means he'll have to go to school." She said while looking towards Qrow, a look that he quickly saw and knew the meaning of.
"Hell no, I'm not taking the kid back to Patch with me. Besides I'm already busy with my own students, and I'm teaching the pipsqueak, so one of you will have to do it." He said defiantly.
"We're both fat too busy to do so, along with having a larger workload. I also don't want too much people knowing of the boys situation as they might try and do something stupid." Said Ozpin.
"Plus you would have the best chance to get the boy to trust you since you saved his life." Replied Glynda as they all could tell that the boy didn't fully trust them.
"No, I'm not doing it. Get someone else to watch the kid since I really don't need the responsibility." Said Qrow once again denying the request.
"Qrow, you are one of the best Hunters in Remnant, so you'll be able to get a good reading on the boys abilities and what he can do. I also never said you had to train him, just make sure that he learns what he need to." Said Ozpin.
Qrow just scowled at the two as he knew what they were saying was the truth. Both Ozpin and Glynda would be far too busy to properly observe the boy, especially with a new batch of freshman having just arrived.
His job as a teacher at Signal was far less hectic, which meant he would have the best chance to keep an eye on the kid. He could also make sure that the kid learned about the world, along with seeing how good the kid actually was.
"Fine, I'll do it, but that doesn't mean that I like it." He grumbled which caused the other two to smirk.
"Great, now that that's settled I'll also need you to take him into the city tomorrow to do some shopping, and so that you can explain what will be happening and try and get him to trust you some more." Said Ozpin
"Now hold on, Oz, there's no way I'm going to waste my day going shopping." Said the man as this was where he would draw the line.
"I'm going to give you access to the Beacon account so that you can get him what he needs, along with whatever alcohol you want." Said the headmaster, which instantly caused a shift in Qrow.
"Um, what I meant to say is I'd love to take the kid shopping. I'll make sure he gets what he needs and have a good time." He finished as the prospect of getting alcohol was too enticing.
Once more Glynda and Ozpin released a smirk as the man was so easy to manipulate. Most times if you wanted to get Qrow to do something all you had to do was offer him rum, according to who you were and what it was you wanted of course.
"Well since we seem to be done here you may both leave. Make sure that you're here early tomorrow to take the boy out, Qrow." He finished as all he got was a casual wave from the man as he began leaving.
"Do you really think that this one boy is worth all of this trouble?" Asked Glynda as she needed confirmation one more time.
"Yes, I do. Believe me when I tell you that the boy has incredible power, and I fear to think of what will happen if Salem ever finds out about him or gets her hands on him." This was the last confirmation Glynda needed as she prepared to leave.
"I will get everything ready that they might need for tomorrow. I'll see you in the morning, Professor." She said as she turned around and also exited the office. As Ozpin was finally left to his own devices he couldn't help but wonder about the future and what it held.
"Naruto Uzumaki, I wonder what changes you're going to bring to this world, and if they're going to be good or bad. I guess only time will be able to tell." He thought to himself while thinking about the new enigma in his life.
With that he also began doing a bit of work that he still had to do, even though it was already so late. He would have to start making more plans and changing some he already had to include Naruto.

Deep within an area of Remnant known as the Land of Darkness, there was a castle that appeared to be made of crystal known as the Evernight Castle. Within this castle was a conference room, and in that room were five individuals sitting around a table and covered in shadows.
The person sitting at the head of the table then began to speak. "I've recently felt a massive amount of power in the Forever Falls forest, but it seems that Ozpin might've already acquired it." Said the woman, as the voice suggested.
"What do you want us to do about it?" Asked a male voice this time. There was a small hum from the female voice before it spoke again.
"I want any information that can be found about what that energy might be. It felt so vile and evil that my Grimm were immediately drawn to the scene, but whatever it caused it was already gone."
"I'll do the best that I can." Stated the male voice once more.
"I know you will, after all you don't want to disappoint me, right?" Asked the female in an overly sweet tone, one that everyone present knew what it meant.
"Of course not, never." Replied the male, this time with a bit of fear in his voice.
"Good, I didn't think so." Replied the woman in a calm manner.
"Is there anything that I can do?" Asked another voice, this one also female.
"No, for now we stick to our current plans. I'll send a few Grimm out to watch that blasted school for extra insurance. Is there anything else that any of you would like to report?" Inquired the first female voice again.
Once again the second female voice answered. "I'm getting closer to finding the Fall Maiden, so hopefully it won't be long until you have her power at your disposal."
"Excellent news. Now, if there's nothing else, then leave me." With that command the other four shadowed figures got up and left leaving the woman to her thoughts. "What exactly are you playing at, Ozpin?" She wondered to herself.
She wasn't lying when she had said that she had sensed an enormous amount of power from whatever it was, one that even dwarfed the power of any Maiden she had ever encountered.
This was the main reason that she didn't really react to the news about the whereabouts of the Fall Maiden, as she was sure that it would probably be a few years until they got an exact location.
This new power that she sensed was what she was wondering about right now. Whatever it was she could tell it was evil. The malice and hate that had been felt was exponential, though it had vanished just as fast as it had appeared.
Whatever this new power was she would have to get it for herself, even if she had to march into Beacon and pry it from Ozpin's cold dead fingers. She had no doubt that the power she felt could help make all of her goals a reality.
She probably wouldn't even need the Maidens, or the Relics, but she'd collect them all the same. All the power of the world would then be in her hands, and she can do as she planned.
With those final thoughts the woman closed her eyes and began to focus. She had some reconnaissance to do, and a new power to obtain. Her schedule could be so hectic at times, but that was a price she was willing to pay.

Alright that's the end of my prologue. I brought in end of part one Naruto since it would make things interesting. As I've mentioned in the chapter Naruto is the same age as Qrow's niece, though I didn't say which one.
That's one of the things I want to think about, if Naruto should enter Beacon at fifteen or seventeen. He will be joining the same year as the main cast though. You can also kinda tell from this chapter that Naruto will be getting trained from Qrow, though it won't be known by Ruby or Yang.
I'm doing this for a reason as I have two ideas already for this situation. I also changed Glynda's appearance since this is a few years before canon starts, and I figured that she'd be the most likely one to get an outfit change. It will be the same as canon when it starts.
Also, something I know you're all going to ask, no Sasuke is not in Remnant. This is a crossover with Naruto Uzumaki in Remnant alone, nobody else from his world. For the harem I've decided on Team RWBY, along with Pyrrha.
I might add two more women that I know would be a surprise, or I might not. It all depends on how I feel, so if you're going to complain about the harem go right ahead, 'cause I really don't give a fuck. So please read, review, and enjoy.
