Chapter 1 Safe and Dangerous

Spiderman 1994 (Opening Theme)

New York City

It was a normal day within New York, calm to storm moments within our people these days. A good number of people can say that the city had problems but it's New York, the biggest city, of course, it has problems and corruption around. Within this corruption and taking it down, we get two heroes who web-swings into action and do anything that a spider can do. Their names are Spiderman and Scarlet Spider.

We can see the Red Spider web-swinging on his patrol for the day before heading in for the night as he got a date plan out. He had a good build body of train olympian. He wore a red suit with a ripped blue hoodie that had a black spider symbol on the front, outside web-shooters, a silver unity belt, and the red mask with white eyes being lens for protected to night vision.

Scarlet Spider had been web swing for a while and so far no action but most action happens at night and sometimes are slower than others. Our hero was fine with it as tonight was a big night for him and didn't want it to be ruined.

The second spider soon webswinged to his apartment which was a great place that housed three to four people, two of which are not around at the moment as they are helping their friends on a mission. That is a story for another time but back to our hero as a climbed into his home while making sure no one follows him and is very lucky to have spider-sense as a backup.

Once things were quiet and all good, Scarlet Spider sighed as he walked over to his phone message to check if he got any miss phone calls to return and should bring a cell phone with him when patrolling, but moving on.

Our hero then decided to take his suit off for the day but pack it in his bag to a hidden area that only he knows, just in case he needs to swing into action. He was a young man in his early twenties with red hair that was spikey & had some blonde streaks and blue eyes that sparkled to life like the ocean or the sky. He now wore an orange t-shirt, blue jeans that were held up with a brown belt, white running shoes, and then put black coat with orange sleeves on. He also grabbed his back, swing on his right shoulder, and left the apartment before locking up. This was Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, heir of his family company and second spider theme hero of New York.

Naruto in one life wasn't so great but was given a new life here in this new world where he was reborn and have a wonderful life to enjoy finally. He had great parents to look up to, a younger sister to protect, a baby brother, friends, and now a girlfriend, yeah that part he didn't see coming but it happen and was glad it did. He is going to see her today for a dinner date as she wants to treat him to a new dish and maybe see if he can know it so that he can cook it one day, being a top star cook.

However, before knowing who this special girl is, how about we go into Naruto's new life and how he become a costumed hero, shall we?

From what Naruto can remember, something happens in one life and took an offer to be reborn in a new life that is far better than his last life which he can agree to that. He has had trouble remembering first life and would agree it's for the best for now as something told him that his past life might not be something he would like.

But anyway, moving on.

Naruto's parents were famous people named Minato Namikaze who is the CEO of the family company who has great friends and Kushina Uzumaki who is a proud woman to fashion making. He had two siblings, a sister name Naruko Uzumaki who starting high school and being at top of her classes to basketball. His brother or baby brother who was born a month ago is a great addition to the family named Menma Namikaze.

Naruto had graduated high school, doing online college classes in which he is ahead and passes a good number of them. He took part-time jobs as an inventor and a few other things.

During and after high school, Naruto had a lot of friends that he is happy to be with and care about. His girlfriend, the one that took his heart and make his life very special who he is going to have dinner with, Felica Hardy.

Naruto smiled and felt at peace when just thinking about Felica. He looked foward to their dinner date tonight and would be a great night of peace. He was about to take a taxi but change when a blue car with orange was parked outside of his place with a card that his name on it.

Naruto just smirks at this gift and knows that he so rewarding Felica big time after dinner tonight. He put his bag in the backseat and climbed into the front to find the kegs on the dash for him to use.

The mix-haired teen starts the engine, getting a good start-up and drove to his girl's place, looking foward tonight but unknown to him that tonight was not going to be something no one expects.

Something menacing is making it's move very soon.

Time Skip

The drive to the place to pick up Felice was good and easy to find due to how many times he visits or went to the place. Naruto soon parked and thought about taking his bag, not sure if he wanted too or leave it behind.

The young man sighed and was about to make his choice but all of a sudden his spider-sense was going nuts and made him high alert to a danger that was coming. He looked around, seeing no danger around but should know better and took his bag with him, just in case if it something. Better safe than sorry.

"This is very strange and something is going to happen. My spider-sense is going nuts from what's around here," Naruto thought as he walked to the gate but noticed something was off and saw a mess up ahead.

Guards threw around like ragdolls and haven't seen better days. The gates were forced open by something strong and the main door was ripped open. Something happens not too long ago and our young hero has work to do.

Naruto rushed back to his car, hiding in the back seats and quicky change out of his day clothes to his costume.

"This can't be how Captian America does it," Scarlet Spider commented as he bagged up his clothes and jumps out of his car before launching a web line to pull him up onto the building.

The Second Spider soon found a large hole in the building and crawled in to see the room a mess which made his eyes widen on remembering who lives here.

"Felicia," Scarlet Spider said in worried, being very concerned for the woman he cares about and rushed into the room to find who took her.

The Red Spider then heard someone screaming in terror which means that Felicia is indeed in danger and saw a large hole made into the wall. He made it to the hole and look to see something off to him.

A man in his 50's or 60's who had some brown hair and wore a dark green bodysuit with the shoulders & legs black armored a bit. What's the big shocking thing was that this man had four metal tentacle-like arms attacked to his back which one of them had held a certain girlfriend of Naruto's hostage.

"Hands up, all of them!" Scarlet Spider called, getting the four-armed villain's attention which had the upper arm move Felicia away from a bit.

"Scarlet Spider, second spider. I was expecting Spiderman to test my genius against but you would do," The armed villain that wore black goggles to covered his eyes said with a smirk as two tentacles went shooting at the spider who dodged in time but one changed it attacks pattern and smacked the hero into the ground.

Scarlet Spider grunted a little and was in shock a bit, noticing that these tentacles seem to be a little faster than his spider-sense which altered him of another attack. He shot a web line up on the building and pull to dodge the attack before using his agility to avoid the tentacles trying to attack him which goes on for a bit.

"Stay still you vermin!"

"If I did, you would attack me so that why they call it dodging."

The armed villain then heard police sirens coming from the other side of the building, knowing the cops are here and who called them. He can't avoid fighting an all-out war with the police, not with his hostage at risk, and must be in good condition for his plan to work. This spider would make sense worse but he has an idea.

"Enough of this child's play, Scarlet Spider. As much I would love to test your limits, I have a meeting to be at and I hate to be late for it. Now here's what's going to happen, I'm going to work out and you won't follow me," He said as left-arm bring back Felicia to short range.

"What makes you think I would allow you to walk out of here?" Scarlet Spider asked and soon regret asking as he saw the right arm folded up before a blade forms up, getting him to eyes widen in shock and worried for Felicia's life.

Felicia's eyes widen in terror as the blade comes close to her neck and did her best not to scream, well she can't scream now as the villain put tape over her mouth.

"You want to test that theory, spider?" The villain asked with a smirk, knowing that he had won and brought the blade closer to his hostage.

"Wait, wait! Fine...I won't follow you," Scarlet Spider said with a groan and hate feeling like this, beaten and seeing the woman he cares about in danger.

He looked at her before saying, "It's going to be alright, Felicia. Just hang on, I promise that I will save you."

Felicia felt at peace by the hero's words and something familiar about him when he spoke that. It reminds her of someone else that said that to her. She couldn't think more about that as the villain starts moving out of the area.

"Oh, one last thing to avoid confusion my dear spider. The name is Doctor Octopus and you better not follow or Miss Hardy gets it," The Doctor said which he knows the Red Spider gets the message and starts to leave with his hostage in hands while dealing with the fools that get in his way.

Scarlet Spider hung his head down and felt weak in watching his girlfriend taken hostage. However something was a mess and familiar with this doctor, he looks very familiar to the young man. Someone he once works with years ago but it can be as that person is dead or maybe not.

"Could he? No, it can't be, but could it," Naruto thought the possibility and should look into this more before fighting the doctor again.

The Red Spider needs to leave the area before the cops find and shoot him before asking questions. And gets his car out of here before any cops find it to later question him. Better safe than sorry and this spider was going hunting for some answers.

Time Skip

Naruto's Apartment

Naruto hummed in thought, looking a few pictures he is familiar with. He heard what happen from what Spiderman told him after his own first fight with the madman and the two shared notes of their encounters. Now it seems they want no help from him. To make things worse, Doc Ock has cut the time shorter now if they try that again and double the money. He sighed and know that this was a dangerous game to pay that mad man. The mix-haired man thought about the good man he knows back then and how much he wants brings back the man that loved science to help many, not this monster. However, it was a long shot and something needs cleary.

To better explain, the first photo in hand is an old photo of Minato celebrating his college graduation with his three freinds with him.

The first was Normal Osborn, surprising and they were roommates in college which both were wanted to run a company. Both Normal and Minato are still friends but have a little rival because of their company and different ideas but don't allow that to ruin their friendship. It also how Naruto met his other friend Harry during a business trip.

The second, Curt Connors, another friend who is Naruto's teacher and one of the best in the young man's books. Curt and Minato were a very top smart mind that shared a goal of helping others which is how they become quick friends.

The third is the most shocking one, Otto Octavius, or now is known as Doctor Octopus (Doc Ock for short) the villain that took Felicia and later another after the first deal went bad J Jonah Jameson.

Also, Naruto knows Otto, well years ago he took a job for college credit and was a good help for the doctor. He had an idea for what this villain has a plan for the fusion tech as he read notes which had the promise to make and why the money as the doctor needs it to keep reaching his project.

Also, another picture that made Naruto have mixed feelings about was the photo he took with Otto after their one year on building their project they work so hard to make, a small generator that pules enough power for a whole building. He was sad when he though Otto had died all those years ago and now is a monster with four robotic metal arms.

On one hand, Naruto feels pity what happened to the man of sciences who wanted to make changes to the world and better mankind. The other, he had to stop the mad man before he harms Felicia or anyone else.

Before Naruto could take down Doc Ock, he needs answers as he going in blank and must understand the motives of one person to get a better understanding of the character he is facing. Then he can take down the four-armed menace.

Naruto put his mask back on and started to web swing to the one person that can help.

Small Time Skip

Daily Bugle

It took a short while to make it to the Daily Bugle but we see Scarlet Spider web swing and land onto the building before climbing upwards to a window of the meeting was located. That meeting would be the room to connect Otto and where the Red Spider can get his answers like from a certain someone that the mad man blames for everything that has happened to him.

Once he reached the window of JJJ's office and saw people in the room, Scarlet Spider knocked on the window to see if they would let him in and with luck one person open the window, being Joseph Robertson, also known as Robbie, who is the editor of the Daily Bugle and a supporter of Spiderman & Scarlet Spider.

"Scarlet?" Robbie said in surprised at seeing the second spider outside of the Bugle.

"That's my name, don't wear it," Scarlet Spider joked which Robbie a little easy up from the tension from earlier.

"You head from what happened?" Robbie asked, meaning what Spiderman had done and actions that are taking place.

Scarlet Spider nodded his head and said, "I did and sorry for what happened. I wish I was there."

"Why? To make things worse," Robbie said, almost snapping out of anger from what Spiderman had done last night.

"No, to help the solution, not make it worse. I have been trying to figure out who is Doctor Octopus and his motives are but I only have a few things figured out. I was hoping you or Miss. Hardy to give me information and maybe work out a plan to stop the doctor," Scarlet Spider explained, making the editor think about it and agreed with the hero.

"Yeah, I think I can help as I don't know Anastasia would. And sorry about snapping out you," Robbie said.

Scarlet Spider just waved it off, understanding it and said, "No worries, Robbie, I understand. I would have felt the same way as well. Now let's get to work."

And with that said, Robbie opens the window wider and allowed the Red Spider to come into the office.

"What can you tell me about Otto and how he survive that explosion?" Scarlet asked as he took a seat and Robbie joined him on the other side.

"Otto or Doc Ock only told us that he survived that explosion from a project that he was working on but the funds were cut off by Anastasia as it was getting too dangerous and the cost was too much," Robbie replied.

"Hmm I take it he didn't handle it very well," The spider said, remembering that Otto had some anger problems when things don't work his way and sometimes would blame others for what happened instead of himself.

"No, and got worse as the cause of the explosion was due to a safety lock he forgot to place in. The fusion generator blows up and everyone thought Doc Ork die that day...or so we thought," The editor said.

Scarlet Spider cupped in his chin in thought and could see the problem he has to face, understanding the motives and why Otto is leashing out in anger. That helps one part but beating the doctor's smarts and his arms would be a challage. However, our hero would find away.

"As there been any word yet or the changes of the deal going down?" Scarlet Spider asked.

"So far, we haven't gotten a callback but time is running out and we are losing it," Robbie answered.

"If there's a will, there's a way, Robbie. I have an idea but I'm going to need your help with this and to avoid Doc Ock getting onto me of coming to his location," The Red Spider said as he got up and reached for something in his belt.

"How can I help?" He asked before being handed a small white spider by the hero.

"It's a spider tracer, a special one I made as it lasts longer and would allow me to hear what's going around. Put it in the case of money, hidden and I would follow it," The second spider said as he walks over to the window and knows that this meeting was going to need to be cut short.

"Will do. I'll make sure this little guy is hidden and ready," The editor said as he placed the tracer in his pocket for the time being.

"Cool, good luck Robbie!"

"You too Scarlet!"

Scarlet Spider then jumped out of the window and started web swing away to a safe place until the time was right to move out. He hopes that the person handling the case of money over and Doc Ock won't find the spider tracer or things will hit the fan but he knows that Robbie will think of something.

All Naruto can do now, is simply sit and wait until his spider tracer starts moving to the location he needs to go, stop Doc Ock, and save Felicia.

Time Skip (Night)

Old Rocket Assembly

It took some time, but Scarlet Spider was following the person that was going to hand the money over to Otto and had use the shadows very good to not be seen. And he has spider camouflage just in case which he most likely needs to use.

Also, Scarlet Spider was worried about Peter getting in over his head about talking to Otto to change. He can tell that talking to the doctor wasn't going to be easy or change his mind but anyway.

The Red Spider crawled into the building quickly before activating his spider camouflage and hard to see now by the naken eye.

The lights trun on when Peter walks in, causing him to use the brown case to block the light and saw Doc Ock coming down. Nearby had JJJ and Felicia tie up on a support pillar.

"Peter/Parker," The two called out.

"Don't worried. Everything is going to be okay," Peter said as the lights trun off.

"I'll believe that when I see it," Jonah said.

One of the tentacles moves, clicking a few times and stops in front of Peter.

"Is that the money?" Doc Ock asked which was handed over to him and the tentacle brought the case back to him to the see the green bills before him, all counted for but didn't saw the white spider tracer hidden underneath in one of the bills that Robbie placed.

"Excellent, now let me show you the purpose this reserve," The doctor said.

Scarlet Spider almost let out a sigh in relief that Otto didn't found the tracer but kept quite and move to the support pillar to free the hostages when the time was right.

"What about Felicia and Mr. Jameson?" Peter asked.

"Oh them, they can hang around for a while," Otto replied as he leads Peter to the cold fusion battery generator which pules a lot of power.

Scarlet Spider then walked down from the support pillar, still having his camouflage on and know that once Otto snaps in anger the hostages would get it. He would have moved in quickly and free them at the right time which would be easy as the rope was just normal rope, not mental.

However before he could move more, Scarlet Spider's spider-sense warned him about Doc Ock and trun to see the doctor's tentacle grabbing Peter before throwing him out of the window, most likely he got upset of the young man trying to talk reason but didn't work.

"Worthless. If someone wants to change the world, you have to be the kind of man who can make the hardest decisions," Doc Ock said as placed the last piece of his work.

"You heartless freak!" Felicia cried out.

"Freak!? My dear, I merely the victim of your mother and others crimes against me, a victim of an accident. And anyone can have an accident," Doc Ock said as one of his tentacles reached up close to the blonde's face and formed into a blade that was about to stab her but was stopped in midair.

"Don't touch her!" Scarlet Spider shouted deactivating his camouflage as he grabbed onto the tentacle and launched down from the pillar to the doctor.

"Scarlet! I'm getting tired of you spiders getting involved with my plans," Doc Ock said before having another tentacle launched at the Red Spider before was stopped by someone's else webbing.

"Really now? How about we give you a vacation behind bars?" Spiderman offered as he was up above.

"Spiderman! This ends with you two dead," The doctor said having his tentacles launch at the spider theme heroes but they dodge the attacks.

Spiderman and Scarlet Spider kept moving, dodging the attacks coming from the tentacles. They are fast, yes but the pair can tell that may act quickly as the speed of thought and match their spider-senses. The downside is there are two of them and the arms can't keep up with two spiders who are better than one spider.

The two look at each other before a few things they need to do.

"You handle Doc Ock, I will handle the generator," Spiderman said.

"Cool, let's see if the doctor likes some new webbing I have in store for him," Scarlet Spider said, knowing what the fellow spider hero has a plan and could work to their edge.

"Fools, you can't stop the genius of Doctor Octopus!" Doc Ock said having his four tentacles at the hero who dodged them backflipping and landed down to only bring both hands up into a fist.

Click, Click!

With a twist of his wrist, Scarlet Spider's web-shooters fired two large balls of webbing towards the doctor who brought his tentacles up and blocks the attack which became a big mistake as those web balls are impact webbing.

The web balls struck onto the tentacles, impacting and forming into stronger webbing that had it hard to break free from.

"What?!" Doc Ock said, being in disbelieve on how such webbing can destroy his genius.

"Cool, right? Impact webbing and you shouldn't underestimate a spider as we are clear. And this will shock you," Scarlet Spider said before shooting a web line up and jumped out of the way for Spiderman to use the elector generator to stop Otto.

The wall-crawler grabbed the elector ball and throw it at the doctor which elected and blasted him into a wall with grunts and screams of pain following behind. Once it was done, smoke can be seen and the tentacles not moving, short out, and not responding. The doctor was fine but won't be moving for a while now.

"Was that your plan? Overloading him and his tentacles to a near coma?" Scarlet Spider questioned, crossing his arms.

"No, and yeah I know the risk which is why I only grabbed the quarter of the generator to short out his control over his robotic arms and themself as well," Spiderman answered.

"Good and now let's get the hostage down," The Red Spider said which his fellow spider agreed.

Spiderman got Jameson free with little trouble.

Scarlet Spider had freed Felicia who held her hand before kissing her knuckles which got her in shock a bit. He then said, "I did say I will save you, Felicia, and I'm a man of my word."

Felicia's heart and mind did a 180, having all the pieces coming together and know who was behind the mask of the red spider. She then jumped foward and hugged him which surprised him but got her in time.

"Thank you...Naruto," Felicia said, whispering the last part into the spider's ear and caused his eyes to widen in total shock.

Before Scarlet Spider could say a word, Felicia had beat him too it and said, "Please don't lie, not tonight. Take me for a swing and to a place, we can talk."

"S-s-sure, I can do that. Hold on," Scarlet Spider said, having Felicia wrapping her arms around his neck as he started to web swing them out of the building and to a place they can talk.

Spiderman watched the events took place and wonder what was that all about as he didn't hear what they were saying. He can only hope it would be a good one and should be going as the police were here, better leave now.

Tonight was a good night but not over yet.

With the Couple

After web-swinging to a safe place and landed on a rooftop of a building, Scarlet Spider didn't say a word as held Felicia in his arms and didn't know what to say but had too.

"When did you found out?" Scarlet Spider asked as he rubbed Felicia's back in comfort.

"Since the day you told me it would be alright, I had some clues but when you kiss my knuckles and have the same body type it started to made sense on why you disappeared then Scarlet appears like that night or not call back within your normal answers. How am I doing?" Felicia asked, getting Naruto a little taken back at this.

Naruto blinked a few times and said, "That hits the nail on the head. How?"

"Photographic memory, remember Naruto?" Felicia said with a small giggled.

Naruto remembers that and knows that Felicia is a very smart woman with a photographic memory which is very helpful.

"So what happens now?" Felicia asked.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked, not sure what his girl meant by that.

"What would happen between us?" She asked, not wanting it to end.

Naruto stays quiet and started to think deeply of what Felicia asked him which he wonders the same thing too. If he allows her to stay in life, he could be placing the woman he loves in danger 24/7 and something terrible could happen. If he pushes her away, he would do the right thing and keep her safe but he will also regret it for the rest of his life. This was very hard.

However, Naruto starts to remember what Peter would say to him, sometimes you just need to take a leap a faith and that's what he will do now.

"Felicia," Naruto said, getting her attention as brought his right hand up to mask.

"Yes?" Felica asked, feeling very nervous but soon relax when...

Naruto had pulled his mask up to his nose and pulled Felicia into a kiss which she greatly returns after her shock came down. She wrapped her arms around his neck, keeping him as he held had his arms wrap around her waist and almost travel down to her butt.

For the need of air, the pair broke the kiss and took breaths for air while still holding each other's arms.

"So that means?" Felicia asked.

"Yes, yes it does Felicia. I would like to see where our relationship goes. I know the risk but I'm willing to face it head-on and be with you, the woman I love," Naruto answered.

"Good, I won't leave either, Naruto," She said as she holds him closer to her which he returns and stays in the warm embrace on the rooftop under the calm peaceful night.

This was the start of something great for our hero and more to come down the road.

I would do my best to update my stories and this one but I do have trouble with making chapters due to my Learning Disability (LD).
