YANDEREMANIAC : Do you guys remember my first dark GOM fanfiction? I am very much grateful for your support and I know that some of you are wanting to have a sequel on that story but I apologize because there won't be any sequel. There's a reason why I ended it like that in the first place. However, I won't be completely selfish. If you guys wanted to make a sequel on that story, then be my guest, but in return, you must ask my permission first and tell me the link of the continuation of the story.
Anyway, so here is another dark Generation of Miracles story where in it is set to be a vampire theme. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as enjoyed writing it.
Let me know what you think about this.
"I'm not good enough for you. But no one is. And most men, good or bad, have limits to what they would do, even for someone they love. I have none. No God, no moral code, no faith in anything. Except you. You're my religion. I would do anything you asked. I would fight, steal, and kill for you."

Kuroko is a rare vampire[1], even though he is born in an average family. Instead of having the usual bloody red eyes that most vampires seemed to had, he inherited his grandmother's scarlet colored eyes — that indicated that he could drink the blood of a human and at the same time, he could drink the blood of an animal. For a rare vampire like him, he is considered in the vampire society as Royalty.
There are different types of vampires and there are rankings based on their clan status. Let's go first with the classification of vampires. There are exactly four types. The most common vampire is the Human-Blood Sucking Vampires, the second one is the Animal-Blood Sucking Vampires, then, the third one is Human-Food Eating Vampires, and lastly, the rare kinds, the Bi-Blood Sucking Vampires.
•••
Human-Blood Sucking Vampires - they had bloody red eyes and most often got the urge to suck a human's blood. They are considered to have the least control with their hunger. However, some of them could control their urge.
Animal-Blood Sucking Vampires - they had a bright, yellow eyes and the clans with that eyes mostly stayed inside the forest or in the woods to hunt for animals. Some said that they had the worst control of their hunger and some said that they could go on without drinking blood from the animals for two weeks.
Human-Food Eating Vampires - they had the most control of their hunger because their source of energy came from the humans themselves. Their eyes were a forest green color. They could eat human food, be it meat, fruits, or vegetables, they could eat them.
Bi-Blood Sucking Vampires - the scientists haven't fully examined them actually, considering that they were really rare and that they were really great in blending with the other vampires. Often times, they are mistaken as Human-Blood Sucking Vampires because of the color of their eyes with some shade of red in it. However, the scientists confirmed that their eyes were scarlet. As for their hunger control, the scientists don't know because they can't gather enough facts.
•••
Now, for the rankings, there are only three ranks. The first one and the highest rank would be Royalty, the second one is Average, and the last one is the Basic.
•••
Royalty - the most high ranking status in the society. Clans who are considered in this rank had a permanent tattoo in their body parts. It doesn't matter where the tattoo has been placed as long as they had it. The tattoo had a shape of a crown with a small trident inserted in the crown.
Average - they could range from 8th ranking nobles down to the middle tier clans. They covered up almost half of the city with their population. They also had a permanent tattoo which was a straight line with three dots above and three dots below.
Basic - the lowest ranking. They are consisted of slaves, maids, servants, errand girls or boys, vendors, uneducated people, homeless kids or adults, and prostitutes. Their permanent tattoo was a shape of a black tear drop with a spiral in the middle.

Kuroko Tetsuya is his full name. He is just a boy.
No. He is not just a boy.
He is a beautiful creature.
Of course, he would deny that, being the humble one among his clan. He might not see it but his family surely saw it. He is definitely gorgeous. Flawless skin, moonlight skin tone, long eyelashes that flutter gently like a butterfly's wings, deep and mesmerizing, azure eyes, natural pinkish lips, a slim figure that girls would envy for, and his voice — oh my gosh, his voice is oozing with innocence and purity. All in all, he's like a seductress. Seducing the males despite not doing anything.
Currently, he's sitting in a soft cushion that was conveniently placed almost beside the balcony where he could gaze at the beauty of the night sky with the moon shining its light on him and the sparkling stars merrily twinkling at him. In his lap was a thick, leather book that he finished reading a while ago.
He gazes in his dull room, not finding everything worth his time. He is bored and his mother deliberately refused to let him help her wash the dishes or even put them away. His father was out for the whole week because of his profession as one of the Murasakibara Clan's personal doctor. Meanwhile, his clan-mates were busy with their own lives, of course. Years ago, he was quite close with them, but when he hit the Blooming Stage, they started avoiding him as if he became invisible in their eyes. They would find excuses whenever he attempted to talk to them.
•••
Blooming Stage - the stage where the vampire enhanced their assets. Kind of like the human ways when it comes to puberty. Their physical appearance changes a bit, giving them a more enticing and alluring look.
•••
His mother assured him though that because he became more beautiful than ever, they needed to get away from him. The teal haired boy couldn't really understand what his mother was saying. The older woman settled for an exasperated yet fond sigh then kissing her son's forehead, assuring him one last time that they weren't avoiding him because he did something wrong but because they needed to.
Sighing in absolute boredom, he takes off the book from his lap and stands up from the cushion that he was sitting on. He walks over to the small bookshelf and places the book in its proper place. His teal colored yukata[2] with dark blue striped patterns was illuminated by the lamp on top of his drawer. He presses his forehead on the books and sighs one more time.
"I wish Otō-sama would come home sooner," he whispers.
Then, someone knocks on his door gently. He doesn't bother to peek at the peephole, knowing very well the sound of his mother's knocking. He is so used to it that he didn't bother to be cautious. As soon as he opens the wooden door, his beautiful mother comes into his view. Long, silky, teal colored hair that reached her slim waist, her flawless skin was the same as his, deep azure eyes that gazed in to your soul, and the natural beauty that she possessed. If Kuroko didn't know her, he would have mistaken her to be his twin sister because of how identical they look like. Needless to say, Kuroko inherited almost all of his mother's physical appearance except for her gender.
"Okā-sama, please do come inside," he opens the door wider for his mother to enter.
"Arigatō, Tetsuya," she enters inside, gliding her feet on the floor as if she was a dancer.
"May I ask why you are still awake, Okā-sama? Shouldn't you be resting?" he questions in his normally blank voice, though the older woman can tell that he was worrying about her.
Contrary to the humans' belief, vampires do get tired especially if they spent up their energy. They functioned like the humans as well. However, the difference between two beings are so vast like the Heaven and Earth's distance towards one another. Vampires could go on for days, weeks probably, or even years without tiring down depending on the situation whereas the humans couldn't go on a day without taking a sleep or a rest day.
"I decided to check on you if you were asleep and it seemed you are not," she replies.
He let out an inaudible sigh. He has been sighing lately. Must be because he isn't allowed to do anything because he is very fragile. Among his clan-mates, he seems to be the only one who is easily breakable. His blood-thirst goes out of control as well if his mother wasn't always there to help him. One of his older clan-mates told him once that if he didn't manage to control his blood-thirst, vampires without mates might take advantage of his vulnerability and make him their mate instead even if it was forced. The mating process of the vampires had three stages.
•••
Connection - the first stage of the mating process. A vampire with an interest with another vampire would drink their blood and in return, they would drink their blood as well.
Chain - the second stage of the mating process where in two or more connected vampires are supposed to drink blood with one another under the Red Moon. This will strengthened their connection.
Bonded - the third and crucial stage. They had to do a sexual intercourse in order to keep their partners with them. Forever.
•••
In their society, it doesn't really matter if a vampire had more than one mate and it definitely doesn't matter if your mate is the same gender as you. How fortunate.
"I can't sleep, Okā-sama. I am worried about Otō-sama."
"Oh, my dear son, I know that you missed your Otō-sama greatly..." she caresses her son's soft hair with her delicate fingers. "... but you must persevere and wait for his return. He won't be long enough at the Murasakibara Clan's compound."
He held back the urge to sigh again. He was silent for a moment as he cherished his mother's affectionate gestures toward him. He preened at the gentle warmth that his beloved mother was emitting. It has been too long since he felt this warm. He isn't used to physical contact and that's why his mother rarely gave him hugs or kisses in the forehead.
Then, something abruptly came up into his mind. Without meaning to, he sat up quickly, surprising his mother and himself with his actions.
Seeing the puzzled expression of his mother, he decided to elaborate his concern. "I apologize, Okā-sama, for reacting like that but I suddenly remembered something."
"What is it?"
"I remembered that the Akashi Clan would be hosting our 500th Anniversary in the Capital. Do we..." he trailed off, looking at his mother's eyes and effectively passing his concerns in her mind. But nonetheless, he continued his sentence. "... Do we have to go? Can't I just stay here, Okā-sama?"
This time, she was the one sighing. "Tetsuya, you know that it's in the rules that all clans must be at the party. Even the Basic ranking clans are expected to attend. If you haven't reached your Blooming Stage, you might have to stay behind but since you attained it, you are expected to go as well as the heir to the Kuroko Clan."
"But it's my first time going there..." he muttered.
"I know, my son, but you don't have to worry about it. Our clan-mates will be with you all the time. You aren't alone in going there," she smiles pleasantly at him.
"What if they see my eyes?"
"The people there aren't that used to differentiating the color of one's eyes. Your eyes blended well with the Human-Blood Sucking Vampires like your father and I," she assured him.
When he was born, he inherited his grandmother's eyes which was surprising because his mother's eyes were a bloody-red color and his father had the same color too. And yes, vampires could get pregnant. Don't believe the humans' hypothesis about the vampires. How else could they increase their population if the females couldn't get pregnant?
He looked into his mother's reassuring gaze, then settled in believing her that everything would be all right. He hopes so.
"This isn't a crush, it's obsession. You are never not in my thoughts. Your scent carries across a room and paralyzes me with longing. I don't want to hold your hand. Part of me wants to set you on fire and hold you while the flame consumes us both, to eat your heart so I know that I only possess it entirely."
- Gwen Hayes
A handsome teen barely any older than 18 years old with silky, flame colored hair and the bloodiest red colored eyes. His smooth, pale skin tone glowed because of the numerous lights surrounding him. He was wearing an expensive kimono made from the finest silk, a golden dragon designed on his haori, and the red color of the kimono — it totally justified his luscious hair and eyes. He's the suitable model for what you called, perfection. As expected from an Akashi. They don't really disappoint in many areas.
He is next to be in line, the next clan head of the Akashi Clan. Therefore, his mother expects him to find his mate while they host the anniversary. Truthfully, the Akashi heir doesn't like the thought of being tied down with someone. He thinks that it will be a waste of time and for sure, if he did manage to find the suitable partner for life, he or she might turn out to be evil and sabotage everything the clan had. Now, now, he knows that he's being exaggerated with his thoughts but can you really blame him? He comes from an important clan and has a high status in the society. People tend to be manipulative and evil.
The party will start anytime soon. Everything is prepared, courtesy of how many servants and maids they hired in order to keep everything well-prepared and in order. His father would be the first one to greet himself in front of the audience and start the opening speech whereas his mother would take over the rest, considering that she's more sociable than his father. As for himself, he is expected to mingle with the guests, making connections and all, chatting with his long-time friends, and at the same time, looking out for potential mate or mates.
"Seijūrō-sama," a voice calls out from outside his room, snapping him out from his thoughts.
"What is it, Rei?" he asks, calmly.
"Your friends wish to have an audience with you, Seijūrō-sama," he replies, immediately.
In the back of his mind, he wonders why they decided to visit him. He proceeds to the door and opens it. The servant automatically bows and moves aside to give way to his master. Akashi stares at his submissive form before dismissing him. He headed straight to their grand living room, hearing immediately the loud noises of his friends, most likely coming from Aomine and Kise. Those two don't seem to get along very well. Kise's annoying while Aomine is easily irritated. What a bad combination.
"Kise, you bastard! Didn't I tell you to stop pulling my kimono?! Now, it's ruined!"
"What?! Aominecchi should be grateful-ssu! I saved you from humiliation because of your horrendous fashion sense. I mean, how come orange and brown mixed well together? You're worse than Midorimacchi when it comes to picking out stylish kimonos!"
"Why am I included with your stupid argument?" he could practically hear Midorima scowling.
"I wear whatever I want, Kise! It's none of your business. And how am I supposed to go back to the compound if my upper clothing is torn off?! I will be the laughing stock of the entire city!"
"Aren't you already the laughing stock before, Mine-chin?"
"Wh-What?! Shut up, you over-sized man!"
"Quit this foolish argument," a sultry and husky voice enters inside the living room, rendering the visitors into their quiet and submissive selves. There's no one other than Akashi could make them stop their loud chattering. They knew when to shut up whenever they were in the presence of an Akashi just like their long time friend and self-proclaimed leader, Akashi Seijūrō.
"Finally, you're here, Akashi!" Aomine exclaimed. His navy blue eyes showing satisfaction and underlying hint of impatience and irritation which didn't go unnoticed by the red head.
Hailing from a prestigious family, there's no doubt that Aomine Daiki is a Royalty. With that toned physique, above average attractiveness, combat achievements, wealthy background, despite lacking in the brain department, he made up from his expertise in sword fighting, hand-to-hand combat, and out-running an average vampire's speed. He may also lacked politeness, etiquette, and manners but females who had yet to obtain a mate don't mind it for their minds are corrupted with the fantasy that they might be the chosen mate of his.
"Akashicchi, do tell Ahominecchi that his fashion sense was extremely poor and terrible. How come auntie let him get out of their compound with such ridiculous colors?" Kise looks at the navy blue-haired teen with disgust which fueled the aforementioned teen's ire.
Kise Ryōta is another Royalty. His countenance is peerless, truly one of a kind. He attracted girls left and right the most among their group. All of them are attractive, yes, but Kise is by far the one who had their attention the most because of his bubbly personality and blinding smile. He often interacted with the girls and tried his best to please them, a complete opposite to his friends. Anyway, he was raised as a gentleman, so it was understandable.
Akashi decided to humor him, "Daiki, why have you worn such a distasteful clothing?"
The aforementioned man spluttered indignantly.
Kise smiles smugly at the navy blue haired heir.
Midorima rolled his eyes, "Do you have to go along with this stupid duo's nonsensical whims?" He was dressed in a forest green kimono embroidered with several bamboo shoots. Unlike Akashi's regal aura, Kise's blinding presence, Aomine's wild nature, and Murasakibara's indolent bearing, Midorima had a scholarly temperament. The only problems with him were probably his obsession with horoscopes and his habit of carrying bizarre objects everywhere.
"Aka-chin should just ignore Mine-chin and Kise-chin," the giant agreed.
Out of the five of them, Murasakibara was the tallest. Just his height alone, could intimidate others and coupled with his tendency to say: 'I will crush you', it was no doubt that he would scare them away. But nevertheless, he was still an heir and belonging to the Royalty rank, so he was used to people currying favor to him.
"Shut up, you two!" Aomine growled.
Akashi settled himself in the mahogany colored single couch. He crosses his right leg over his left leg, then leans comfortably on the couch.
"So, what brings you all here?"
Simultaneously, they look at him.
