Genesis 0: A Creator's Love Painted with Black Ink

Old Tokyo, Japan; September XX, 1999 BSI (Before Second Impact)

The smells of fall danced in the air as rural Tokyo took in another beautiful day. The leaves were changing colors, the winds were changing from warm to cold and being around all of it made life blissful. A top one of the major look outs, Gendo and Yu I could be seen gazing into the mountains, both of thdm enjoying the pleasant air. Yui I decided to move next to Gendo, grasping his hand and joining his gaze that was cast outward.

"I was thinking...I think I'm ready to become a mother. I've even been think up their names as of lately," Yui broke the silence, both of them continuing to gaze outward. Gendo took in a good, long breath before gently releasing it, realizing it was only a matter of time before this subject would come up.

"Is that right," Gendo replied, Yu I giving his hand an affectionate squeeze before resting her head on his shoulder.

"If it's a boy, we can name him Shinji. If it is a girl, we can name her Rei. How does that sound honey?" Yui suggested with a celestial smile. Gendo looked into her eyes, pondering wether to agree with her thoughts or not. In the end it didn't really matter due to his love for You being stronger than any mountain.

"Sure. I think those are wonderful names," Gendo said, returning Yui's smile with his own. The time they spent together felt nothing short of magical. Although Gendo had his fair share of problems, Yui was able to straightened him out. This was the year of bliss, a simpler time when life was normal, innocent, and right with the world. The two of them smiled as they peered past the overlook before them, taking in the beautiful mountains and beautiful, pure skies.

Gehirn HQ, Testing Facility 018; June XX, 2004 ASI (After Second Impact)

"How do things feel inside of the plug, Yui?" One of the staff members from the control room inquired. Yui slowly began moving the controls around, checking everything as the plug began filling with LCL. Yui smiled as she confirmed everything checked out.

"Everything seems to be in order according to the specs," Yui replied, humming a soft melody to keep her nerves in check.

"Ma'am, do you...think it's wise to have Shinji here? It could be dangerous," Another staff member called in, Yui shaking her head in response.

"I want my son to see history in the making, so that he can see that there is a bright future ahead for mankind," Yui replied with confidence. Gendo saw Shinji, laughing and smiling as he waved at the Evangelion. He wasn't sure how he felt about having a child, and it wasn't because a lack of love, but he didn't like sharing Yui with anyone. She's the one who wished for a family thus Gendo happily obliged.

"Begin the contact test," Gendo ordered, the control room springing to life. All the sensors and the like began making sounds, one controller after another reporting the status readings on each of the instruments. Yui waved at Shinji from within the plug, happy as can be that she'd be able to share history with her beloved husband and loving child. Suddenly, Yui began to feel strange; the LCL began to quagulate, the sights on the display inside the plug began to fritz, shifting in and out of view. She tried crying for help as she tore at the controls, but no hails came back as the plugs heat began reaching intense levels. It happened all so fast that she could barely formulate any thoughts. Tears filled her eyes as she saw Shinji, still smiling with his face pushed against the glass of the control room.

"I love you, Shinji, Gendo...please my love...take care of Shinji..." Yui choked over and over again, desperately hoping that her words would get out to the observation command center as a bright white light began surrounding her.

"Sir! The readings in the plug are flying off the charts! Her vitals are beginning to match with the Evangelion's bio rhythm!" The monitor shouted, Gendo standing up so quickly that his chair crashed to the floor.

"Yui!" Gendo shouted, charging the glass next to his son. They watched as all the sounds coming from the Evangelion cut to silence, everyone staring at the sensors to figure out what happened.

"What's the status of the plug?!" Gendo shouted, turning to the person responsible for the readings. A grimace graced her face as she checked its readings.

"There's...no one in the plug...all that's visible is a...lab coat, sir..." The controller reported, Gendo fmcrumpling to his knees as he continued staring out the glass. It was if a switch had been flicked inside Gendo's heart, with only a few minutes passing before he felt, nothing. He glared down at Shinji, who was none the wiser to anything going on. He then stood, immediately leaving the observation room without saying another word.

NERV HQ, Commander Ikari's Office; August XX, 2014 ASI

Gendo sat behind his desk, gazing intently at the door as he finisheed signing some report documents, mostly maintenance notes. A soft knock could be heard before him, a soft voice following after.

"I'm here...Commander Ikari..." Rei's voice snuck in. Gendo immediately called out for her to enter, his heavy doors opening the closing. Rei was in her respective school uniform, clearly just having come from her institution of study. Gendo rose up from his seat, slowly walking around it as he approached Rei.

"How was school today? Gendo asked, continuing to step towards her.

"Satisfactory..." Rei replied, almost like an automated message. Gendo simply smiled as he stood before her, placing his hands on her shoulders.

"That is good to hear Rei. You know, I've missed you, I've been waiting all day just to see you," Gendo's tone sounded cheery at a first hearing, but at the heart of it, that couldn't be further from the truth. Rei's lifeless, ruby eyes tilted up to look into Gendo's, his faded smile appearing genuine. Gendo leaned forward, slowly but surely meeting Rei's face with his own.

"You're beautiful...just like Yui..."Gendo whispered before latching his lips onto Rei's. Rei's vacant gaze continued to face Gendo's eyes, to which were closed. A soft moan left Gendo's throat as he deepened the display of affection until he was satisfied. Removing his lips from hers, he then smiled as he stood up straight.

"Let's get something to eat," Gendo said kindly, escorting Rei out of his office.

NERV HQ, Female Plug Suit Station; February XX, 2015 ASI

"Don't worry, we will try to synch again tomorrow. Let me help you out of your suit," Gendo suggested, Rei giving him a nod. She pressed the button on her rest to release the air pressure, allowing her suit to become loose on her. Slowly but surely Gendo was able to help her out of it, leaving her slender, pale body naked as the day she was born. As if routine, Gendo sat upon the bench in the room, smiling at Rei suggestively.

"Do you mind...helping me?" Gendo said, spreading his legs slightly. Rei put on the best smile she could muster, giving him a firm nod before making her way over to him. Like a trained dog she moved down to her knees, her hands grasping his inner thighs before finding their way to the fly of his pants.

"Good...just like that," Gendo whispered as Rei managed to maneuver his sizeable erection to the open air. Looking up, her eyes filled with a little emotion, a small smile gracing her lips as she began stroke it from the base up. Slow and steady, she began to use both hands.

As Gendo's hand went through her bangs, she switched her hand with her tongue, dragging it up from the base slowly. This wasn't the first time this had happened, after taking a step in this direction for the very first time, it slowly became a routine for the two of them. With his member good and moist, Gendo then gently grabbed the hair behind Rei's head, carefully force it between her lips and into her mouth. Her eyes looked up at him as he began to use a little force, her expression not so much as even wincing as his length was slowly inched into her throat.

"Stay right there..." Gendo groaned as Rei's lips forcibly kissed his pelvis, his girth stretching out her throat. Rei's body began to tense up as her air became plugged, tears forming in her eyes as they began to roll back into her head. Gendo just looked down at her, his once kind demeanor now cold and heartless as he kept her held down. With a loud choking noise, Rei's body went limp, just as he had planned.

Normally he wouldnt do such a thing. Normally he'd just have his way with her mouth, have her "clean up" the mess and be on their way, but a nightmare about Yui the night before held onto his heart with a deathly grasp, making him fulfill what sick desires were necessary to make them go away. It didn't help that the thought of doing this kind of thing laid buried at the back of his mind, ready to be dug up at any moment.

"Good girl...he said under his breath as he moved her mouth off. Now passed out, Gendo moved up from the bench, dragging Rei's lifeless, barely breathing body onto it. He turned her so that he back laid upon the bench, her arms and legs splayed out like a rag doll. Her half opened, faded out out eyes were fixated to the tall, steel ceiling that seemed endless and dark due to the blinding overhead lights as Gendodragged her until her rear was at the edge of the bench. Without anymore hesitation, Gendo grabbed her waist tightly, forcing Rei's rear hole to stretch ferociously, small trickles of blood slowly crawling down her rear.

"You like that...don't you...?" Gendo said in a creepy whisper as he yanked her hips down the rest of the way, using his leverage to start thrusting into her ass. Lewd, sloshing noises filled the otherwise quiet room, Rei's frame bouncing and flinching instinctively without a single sound leaving her lips as he began savagely sodomising her body body. He draped her lifeless legs over his arms, giving him deeper and deeper access the harder he went. Gendo caught sight of her dead eye'd gaze, lifeless and cold which put him over the edge. After a few more harsh thrusts, he dropped her legs, quickly tearing his throbbing member out of her before stroking it desperately.

As Gendo began to calm, he stood and stared at the image of his would be daughter, smeared with his own cum like the rape victim that she was. He had a pitiful look in his eyes, almost sorry for her as he walked over to a locker to remove a towel.

"W-Wha..." Rei said weakly, her lower half twitching as she slowly came to. Gendo was gently caressing her hair with his fingers, her body now clean of any evidence of his heinous act. Gendo softly let out a hum, gently rubbing her head affectionately.

"Its OK Rei, you just passed out. You overheated when we got the plug suit off you and you collapsed," Gendo whispered as Rei's eyes began to adjust. The soft touch of his bare hand upon her head was very comforting, a small smile forming upon her lips.

"Oh...I see...thank you...for taking care of me..." Rei whispered, letting out a sigh of relief as she rubbed her cheek atop his legs. Gendo just looked down at her, his sadistic desires finally calming from his eyes the longer he pet her head.

"You're welcome...Rei," Gendo replied, smiling down at her. The more and more bold Gendo became, he began explaining how such filthy acts were a sign of happiness, how this is how all people show they are happy or make someone happy. Rei soaked up the information like a sponge, not so much of the thought of her feeling pleasure meaning a thing. Within a month, Rei began to associate happiness with pain and anguish, still naive to the concept of herself feeling just as good. Gendo's overwhelming vow against procreation brought more and more pain to Rei's body, the ability to as much as sit causing her to wince and whine with crippling backlash. She had become broken before she even understand the meaning behind the word.

NERV HQ, Evangelion Activation Chamber 00; May XX, 2015 ASI

"Rei! Hold on!" The muffled cries of a man could be heard through the entry plug hatch. Rei winced and was on the verge of tears as hwr body felt battered and broken. Not only pain from happiness, but after the plug was forcibly ejected from Unit 00, she then plummeted to the floor, the impact causing her nervous system to tremor and tense. The muffled yells of pain and agony gruffly barraged the hatch, the loud scraping of the release mechanism grinding a churning before clicking with success. Gendo immediately poked his head, frazzled, scared and madly concerned for her. Rei found heerself in turmoil, looking away as she winced in pain.

"Rei are you alright?!" Gendo spat, Rei weakly turning her face towards his. She gave him a small nod, but trying to move caused nothing but pain. In Gendo's frenzy, he slowly removed Rei from the plug, carefully carrying her towards the observation room and then on to the infirmary. Rei couldn't shake her conflicting thoughts; after the things he'd done she felt she wouldn't ever be happy again, but with Gendo showing her such compassion, she couldn't figure out what to do for herself. Her joy was beyond words for now, and she could only hope that it would last.

NERV HQ, Medical Facility 01; May XX, 2015 ASI

Barely conscious, all Rei could do was look away as Gendo positioned himself at the edge of her bed. Lost to her was his insistant urges that he no longer bothered to control. All Rei could do was let a tear or two crawl out the corner as Gendo had his way with her. She had grown fond of him once again with the instance that led here, but she felt nothingness as Gendo took advantage of his position and her situation.

"..." Rei winced, her limbs being forced to move causing her great discomfort. Rei found herself curling up into a balk in heart, quietly sobbing as Gendo slowly stuff his greatly swollen member into her rear hole. All though she was sobbing inside, on the outside, she became emotionless, cold at a glance as if she were sleeping with her eyes open. The bed began to squeak as Gendo began to thrust, her body shaking merely from pain and nothing more. Rei couldn't do anything but to lay there and take the 'happiness' that he wished to bestow into her. Fortunately these visits never lasted too long, only long enough to fill her insides with his dispicable seed.

"..." Rei's response to his hot, sticky semen filling her rear was pure silence, as if Gendo were raping the dead. After he was finished, he would walk up to her, gently plant a kiss on her forehead, and wished her to get well soon. After he would leave, her body would begin to spasm, twitching and throbbing with pain as her limbs were laid back to rest.

"Why..." Rei whispered softly, her eyes focusing on the glasses case with Gendo's old, broken glasses in it. It was her only keepsake of a happy memory, thus she treasured it simply for that.

Operation Yoshima Epicenter, Tokyo 3; September XX, 2015 ASI

Grunts and groans could be heard outside of the mildly melted down plug of the Unit 00 prototype. These boyish groans continued until he let out a loud cry of pain. With the hatch finally opened, Shinji Ikari fell in, scared to death that Rei was harmed or heavily damaged.

"Ayanami! Are you alright?! Ayanami!" Shinji cried out, Rei slowly opening her ruby red eyes. Tears began dropping from his eyes as he saw movement, signaling she was alive. Rei looked at him, her sight finally focusing as more tears filled his eyes.

"Don't ever say good bye like that, it's...its just too sad. And don't say you have nothing else either..." Shinji sobbed loudly, prompting for Rei to sit up. She gazed in confusion, the feeling of sadness being lost on her after locking it away for many months now.

"Why...are you crying?" Rei inquired, Shinji unable to pause his gasps and whines. Rei looked away, almost guilty before deciding to say something.

"I'm sorry...I don't know how to respond to something like this..." Rei said, her eyes returning to Shinji after a long silence. Shinji put on a warm smile, tears still gliding down his cheeks.

"You could try...smiling," Shinji replied. In that moment, it was if a torch had been pressed against her empty, cold heart. It began to beat hard as the emotion that kept her holding onto Gendo had now finally been replaced by someone else, her eyes gazing at his in complete surprise. Then slowly, as if the world were watching, a wide, genuine smile curled upon her lips, all of her thoughts filling with nothing but the very moment she was now living in.

Rei's Apartment, Tokyo 3; September XX, 2015 ASI

Standing with her back to her apartment door, she smiled softly as she placed her hands over her gleefully beating heart. For the first time, it felt real, not just a perception into fooling herself.

"Ikari..." She whispered softly, her eyes turning to her bed. Her body was completely exhausted from everything that had happened to the point of just passing out. She stripped her top section down to just her button down shirt, sliding out of the skirt to place it with the rest. As she approached the bed, she noticed the glasses case that she had treasured for what felt like an eternity. Still with a soft smile she opened it and removed the slightly damaged frames. Thoughts of Shinji continued to fill her mind, her smile shifting from warm to a new, strange feeling that she had never experienced. She narrowed her eyes on the frames, taking it into both hands.

"Ikari...made me smile..."Rei said in a creepy whisper. With only minimal resistance she made a twisting motion with her hands as if wringing out a cloth. A sudden, loud snapping noise scratched at the air as the frames were now in two pieces, one in each hand. Her smile grew wider as she dropped them to the ground, stomping on them with her right foot with great force. It was in that moment that something happened within Rei's mind and body, her cold, emotionless thoughts filled with obsession and malice. The moon shined in through her window, casting its gaze upon the shattered frames, to which Rei gave one final stomp before turning in for the night, and drifting to sleep with a smile on her face.

Rei suddenly found herself underwater, the water itself tinged red with the smell of blood surrounding her. At first it was quite tranquil, she could breathe normally with the soft warmth of the water caressing her naked body. She sighed blissfully as she gazed up towards what she assumed was the sun, its lights dancing with the glittering waves overhead. Suddenly, countless wires shot down from the heavens, the hooks shapes like crosses as they all flew past her. Rei's eyes darted towards the void that was the sea floor as the wires began to reel in. Connected to each of them were black sillouhettes, all of them formed to match each person she had ever known. The Las one up was Shinji, but unlike the others, his appearance was as clear as day.

Rei could tell that Shinji was screaming for help even if no sounds left his mouth. Rei stared in horror as she quickly grasped Shinji arm with her hands, trying use her weight to anchor him down. As the wire tugged and fought against her, it suddenly ripped Shinji from her grasp, causing her to immediately swim after him. Swam as she might, ahe couldn't catch up to him. As her head arose from the red sea, the sun had been replaced by two bright, blood red moons, the surrounding area red in hue from their glow. Rei's eyes followed the wires to their origin, a massive, white gloved hand. The wires were all attached to each finger, retracting into it like fishing lines. Once all the individuals were in the hands grasp, it began to squeeze, instead of hearing a massive magnitude of screams, all she heard was Shinji's, shrieking bloody murder and begging for Rei to help him. Rei covered her mouth as she stared in absolute horror as she watched every body above being crushed, silence filling the air as it began to downpour blood like a vicious rain storm.

The massive hand released the chunks of gore and viscera from its grasp, all of crashing into the sea in a grotesque fashion. Rei looked to her right to sed the head of of her beloved, staring catatonically at her. She grasped a hold of it, holding it to her chest tightly.

"Ikari..." Rei softly sobbed, there clear tears mixing with the blood to form a road map of clear lines on her face. Suddenly, the massive hand began to descend towards her, immediately scooping her up in its grasp. She suddenly found herself standing in the palm of the blood soaked glove, the red moons above growing larger as they came closer towards her.

"Good girl..." A familiar voice said, wires and hooks descending from the sky. They latched into Rei's arms and legs, causing Rei to panic and thrash agzinst them in vein. Rei was forced to dance upon her strings, a crude dance with no rhythm that tore at her skin. She eventually surrendered to the overwhelming force, which caused the presence moving her to stop. Then, out from the void of her vision, Gendo appeared, a wicked smile on his face. The closer he cam, the more Rei wanted to scream but nothing would come out. The very moment his had touched her she shot awake, sitting up straight in her bed. She stared at the blank wall in front of her, her gaze unphased. She sudden felt moisture on her hands. She traced the moisture back to her face, which she found had been drenched in tears.

"Why am I...crying...?" Rei asked herself in confusion. This was the first time she had dreamed and it truly was a dream she wished she could forget. The horrors followed her through the rest of the night, leaving her restless and fatigued. She tried to piece it all together, but all it did was confuse her more.
