So, even though this technically is a Date A Live fanfic, this has mostly to do with my OCs from my story A Spirit Unlike Any Other and any future installment I plan to write. Many of these chapters are just short stories that group together into little bit bigger stories. I plan to make this a side project that accompanies my other lousy projects, and for all history extraordinaire, some of these stories have historical real-world aspects to them, and knowing me, there are going many inaccuracies you can ridicule me on starting with Entry 1.
\Unkown Entry 1\
Creation
All around it was...darkness. There were...sounds all around it, the...feeling of the rumble. Multiply was all it knew, yet its instincts turned a blind eye. It couldn't multiply anymore. What had happened? What was this feeling? It...questioned itself. A strong sense of something missing from the world intrigued this new entity as it drifted in the darkness.
All around it, every...second that passed it felt a feeling as if other beings had met some sort of...end. It continued its path, gathering more of these passed-on beings along the way.
Alongside this entity and its gathering nature, were other organisms. These thrived, constantly multiplying themselves as it once had in its darkness. Eventually, it felt new presences in the dark, reminiscent of a time long past yet morphed and evolved into the future, made their entry as they too, rapidly expanded their lineages. And so did these join its collection.
A sudden creature raced in front of the being. It couldn't see its path, but it sensed this organism's colossal presence and mimicked this other being. The darkness all around was swept away by the tsunami of...light. There were things around the being, colors, things that moved as if they were...alive. So this was life. An Anomalocaris was right in front of the entity, ferociously chasing a trilobite down, snatching the poor prey with its two front appendages. And violently flailing around as it crushed its entity felt it again but saw it for the first time. This was death, and a strange otherly presence was felt.
The entity remained in these places for so long that it could remember the light above it. The red ball of light, ever so slowly, seemed to dim until there was a harsh black sky. It learned this would mean constant loud sounds would roar non-stop, When the world stopped raging, calmness would return and the light would shine upon the swimming denizens. On other occasions, soft droplets of water fell upon the warm surface.
Taking the form of a primitive armored fish, the entity moved with a dominating herd. There was a noticeable decrease in space in the waters. The floor of the seas oozed a deadly green in masses, and those unfortunate enough to not realize...the entity felt them come to it. For each death by the hands of a predator, the strange feeling not of its nature was felt.
The seas were empty, the food chain now a rusted conveyer belt. The entity could only watch as life rapidly dwindled. The green, poisoned waters were uninhabitable. It looked up at the light, the light passed the barrier of water, the light that shone upon the world outside of the water. The entity moved with its herd to the edge of the barrier, the closest thing to a safehaven. Though it could not tell, the living fish could not stay here for long. One fish, so desperate for breath, poked its head out of the waters. Small breaths were taken by this living miracle.
Those unfortunate enough died off, and those with luck birthed gifted offspring. Tiny little limbs slowly formed from the fins of past fish, and lungs grew to capture the air above. These limbs and organs were made for a greater purpose as the first lifeform, and then its brethren climbed their way out of the old waters, into a new world with new, yet dangerous life. The entity mimicked these new lifeforms and followed these new explorers into the new world.
