I'm also not sure if there is too many scenes with Cristina and Zola together. Let me know, please.

Cristina came to the guest bedroom to kids.
"Hi, guys..." She whispered touching their shoulders. "Wake up, little bees" Zola opened her eyes first.
"Hey, Zozo" She smiled. "Get dressed, okay?" The woman handed her clothes. "And please, help your brother get dressed" She asked softly.
"Where are we going?" The girl looked at her.
"We're gonna operate with your mom" when Cristina saw the lack of happines on Zola's face she added. "And you can watch" Zozo imeediatly smiled.
"Ok, get ready" Yang left the room and look around the apartment, but couldn't see Mer anywhere. She heard some noises from the bathroom.
"Meredith, why are you still there? You okay?" She asked through the doors. She heard her friend flushing the toilet and doors opened. Cristina gave Mer asking look.
"Yeah, fine" The blonde reassured her with dry voice.
When they all got ready to leave Meredith took children's hands and explained everything to Zola who only was nodding with smile to her worried mom. They got in the car. Kids were sitting in the back and Cristina was driving.
"Zozo looks excited" Mer whispered to her friend.
"She's already surgical junky" Yang laughed. Meredith rolled her eyes with a smirk. They arrived the hospital's parking lot and entered the building.
"Wait here" Cristina stopped them next to one of the doors and disapere in the closet for just a second"
"Scrubs, stethoscope. Be a doctor, check on my patient" She handed Meredith some things.
"Cristina, here? I just... How?" Grey started to protest.
"Normally" Yang cut off "He can speak English. Tell him your name, ask him how he is feeling and if he has any questions" Cristina told her firmly. "And examine him, I'll take care of the kids" She said taking their hands. When she saw Meredith was still standing there she ordered "Go!" She kissed children's foreheads and went to the on-call room to change clothes. Shane was walking past them, but was hoping dr. Yang won't see him. He didn't want to be a babysiter.
"Shane" She stopped him anyway and turned her head to younger child. "Bailey, honey, you're gonna spend the day with Shane, okay?" Cristina pushed him softly to the other doctor. Her student sighed, so Cristina gave him a killing look. It worked. He immediately smiled to the kid and went with him in different direction. Cristina smirked to herself.
"And we..." she smiled to Zozo "We are going to prep for surgery" She took her hand again.
"We?" Zola looked at her.
Yang laughed "Maybe you can't operate, but you can prep" Cristina took a step"Ok, let's go"
They went to the office and sat down on the cougch with a scan. Cristina was focussed and actually forgot about a child next to her.
"What are looking for in this, auntie Cristina?" Zola finally asked.
Yang broke out of trance just smiled, get up and went to the desk. She pulled something out of the drawer. It was another scan. She got back to her friend's daugher and showed her two CT's.
"Do you see any difference?" Cristina asked. The kid was looking at them a minute and finally answer.
"There is a shadow" She pointed at one of the scans. Zola looked at her aunt waiting for reaction. Cristina was actually pretty impressed.
"Wow! You are good at this" She praised her with a smile. "This scan without this shape here... " Yang pointed. "Is a healthy, human heart" She smiled. "The other one is sick and we need to fix it" She explained.
"In surgery?" Zola asked.
"Yes, honey" Her aunt answered and checked the time. "We have to go now" She stood up and took kid's hand. They both left the room.
"I'll get you to the gallery, okay?" She looked at Zola when they were walking down the hol. Child smiled. When they were already there, Zozo didn't say anything, she just picked a chair and sat down excited. Cristina smiled to herself.
"You good?" She wanted to make sure.
Zozo nodded and Cristina left the gallery.
When she entered the scrub room Meredith was already there.
"How is the patient? " Yang asked coming to the sink.
"Scard" Mer replyed shortly. "But I did my best and I think he won't run away" She looked up at the OR.
"Thank you" Cristina smiled.
When two friends already ended washing their hands, they entered the operating room. Patient was already asleep.
"Everybody, this is dr. Meredith Grey, general" Cristina started. "She's gonna temporary work here, a week, a month, a year... I don't know. In short you will see her around. She is my old friend. Dr. Grey will sometimes assist and operate, so please listen to her" Yang explaned.
"Meredith Grey like Ellis Grey?" Someone asked.
"Yeah" Cristina sighed knowing Mer don't like questions like that. "Okay, let's start, guys"
They were operating in silence a long time. But it wasn't uncomfortable, they were just focussed.
"I was barely doing cardio whole internship and residency" Meredith said out of nowhere. Cristina raised her eyebrow waiting for Meredith to explain.
"You know, I mean Burke was teaching you, so was Teddy Altman... I was really rarely doing anything cardio" She said without any emotions.
"Because you chose general, Mer" Cristina laughed. "Bailey and Richard were teaching you, you were never into cardio" She said.
"Yeah, I know. I'm just saying" Meredith didn't even look up at the other surgeon. Yang didn't know what to say, but after a moment she asked.
"And with Hahn?" Grey gave her an asking look "She didn't want to teach me at all. Didn't you get surgeries?"
"Erica Hahn didn't like me either. She was working with Izzie a lot" Mer answered.
"Why didn't she like you?" Cristina questioned curiously.
"I don't know. Probably because I was Cristina Yang's best friend" She laughed, for the first time showing any emotions while this surgery. The asian woman smirked.
"By the way, do you know where is Izzie now?" Meredith changed the topic.
"I met her once on a conference. She works in the hospital in the middle of nowhere. She has specialization in oncology surgery" Meredith opened her mouth to say something but Cristina's phone ranged.
"Unknown number" A nurse informed her.
"Answer, please. Switch on the speaker" nurse did what she told her to do.
"Dr. Cristina Yang speaking" the woman informed confidently.
"Hello, I'm dr. Pierce. You gave me a job at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The head of Cardio..."
"Dr. Pierce, I'm operating right now, so I'll get back..." Cristina started firmly, but got cut off.
"It will take only a second... I assume you heard what happened?" She asked quietly.
Cristina swallowed hardly.
"Yes" She wanted to look at Mer, but her eyes were focussed on patient's chest.
"We are worried about Meredith. She disapered two days ago leaving just a letter. We thought she is with you?" Yang looked at her friend. Grey shook her head.
"Dr. Pierce, Meredith is not with me, but I'm sure she just need time to think" She said still looking at Grey. "I really can't talk right now, goodbye dr. Pierce" Cristina responded firmly.
"Goodbye" They heard a sigh on the other side of phone.
