Prologue

Hello, my name is Elena and I was born here on Misty island where both my mother and farther live, Gol and Mia. if you would like I can give you some background on me and bits of my past...or what I can recall anyway. so about me I have long blonde hair the exact colour like my mothers, I'm wearing a long, brown rag that reached the knees it also has holes and patches. I have my mother's black splodges, ash grey skin colour as well as my father's eyes and I have a dark side due to the fact that I have fully been covered in dark Eco her name is jasmine she's my age, 4 years. there is more to me than meets the eyes but my origin begins here.

I groggily woke up to see such a beautiful sunrise and I looked out from the hole-like-window in this rocky castle it looked like a termite mound really or a Wumpbees nest not a castle to me anyway...I walked over and leaned on the edge of it as the sun rose up slowly. I took in a deep breath and sighed. The

more the sun got brighter it would eventually get dimer and that was a bummer for me. just as the sun was getting dimmer I grabbed my bag/pouch and ran down the steps of this "castle" and came out the over-sized wooden doors and hovered across the water barely touching it. This time would always be the Perfect time to go to the neighboring island Sandover and collect different Eco and plants, the plants were to see if life could be on my island and the Eco for testing its different properties and for something else and as you can tell I'm not like my parents at all. I'm not OBSESSED with dark Eco and taking over the world. Nope, never ever because I love it as it is. Anyway as I reached to coast of the beach I sat on the sand and set my bag down to grab a jar "Now all I need now is just some more green Eco and collect some red Eco" I said to myself aloud maybe I shouldn't do that remember that there's residents here they could find me and do whatever to me, "I look like a monster to them..." I whispered to myself. when I did a small tear fell before I was full on crying. I wiped the tears away but my cheeks were still wet I got my bag I walked over to these vents of green Eco and I grabbed my empty glass jar and opened the lid. "So, what are you going to with the green Eco this time, huh." jasmine asked "just wanna see something" I replied "Y'know if you don't want to get caught, just use you shape-shifting powers, it's as easy as that." I could tell she shrugged at the end of her sentence.

I sighed "You know that it tires me out and what more if I over use it again I could be out cold again, is that what you want.?" I whispered "yes" she in a sly tone. when I got to the vents I got one of my glass jars and put it over the flowing Eco. As I was putting the lid on the filled jar something spooked me a muse came out of nowhere and I tripped and fell on a loose vertical rock pillar and that seemed to cause a chain reaction of more falling and blocking the vents...again.

"Yikes." I nearly yelled while biting my lips, that was a close call if the big boulders didn't roll after the domino rocks fell one-by-one. as I ignored that and I adventured on in the village, not many people live in the village some are nearby the village, all I do is like to imagine what their lives are like here on this island as I walk by the huts, such a beautiful thing if you live on a dead island that have Lurkers 24/7 and Dark Eco, but back to my wandering.

I always walk through here because that muse the same one that jumped me lives here in the village so what I've decided to do was to take her back home and call it a day. I knew where to look for her that just makes it a lot easier for me and her. I just can't wait to have a pet muse "Hey jasmine, have mom and dad contacted you yet?" I asked in a whisper "What happened to you calling them "mother and farther" all posh like "and nope." I really hatted it when she got like with me. I started to hear something in a bush and them all of a sudden a yellow blur whizzed by me and came back in front of me it was that muse that runs wild. as I played with her before it was morning I grabbed her and got of the island together.

When I got there I got past two guards and more to get to my room and I placed my new found pet down in "Now that I own you what should I call you?" I pondered "I got it, how would you like to be called Roxy?" the Muse looked at me funny "No, well what about speedy" she looked at me with the same face "Maybe joules?" when I said that she was jumping for joy, I guess she likes that name, I kind of like it myself it suits her. I got down to Joules eye level "Now joules I can't have anyone know you're here alright" I said in a serious tone. "-or you could be taken away from me OK, so I need you to keep quiet" as I looked into her eyes I could see she was happy but a bit sad i presume from the part where she'll be taken away I gave her comfort by giving her pats on her head to let her know she's alright here.

when I got a few more Z's I decided to get up but before I did that Joules was laying on my chest, at that sight I just couldn't resist the urge to smile. You know those moments that you have a pet and it sleeps on you and you want to move or go somewhere but you don't want to wake the pet up, yeah that's how I felt but you gotta do what you gotta do and wake em' up. I nudged Joules a bit and her eyes opened slowly and did a big yawn. When she turned her head to me I had a compassionate look on my face "Sorry Joules we have to get up" I said softly. As she hopped off the bed I swang my legs of my bed and began to walk over to the washroom, I wouldn't say the waters nice and clean but not grimy and revolting is what I expected the first time, but it is what it is am I right. when I came out after washing my face, I walked over and put some food in a food bowl and water in another so that should take care of that when I leave. I rose up and went to the door and grabbed the door knob and before I exited, I poked my head out of the door and smiled "You be good now Joules while I'm gone, OK?" then I left and awaited what day I had before me "This is going to be one heck of a ride" I thought to myself.

Sorry I made this first chapter short but of course I need a green light from people so I can continue and plus I want to save the good bits for the other chapters I guess this is like a prologue but in parts again sorry that this is short and I recommend you go to my other/old account Soniclove89 and at this moment I only have 2 stories up sonic and J&D I made this because I want to practice my Grammar spelling and punctuation (SPaG) I hope you enjoyed this and I'll see you all soon Please reviews needed
