Springtrap was in the passenger's seat, waiting for Steven. After Nanefua banishing them Beach City, they have to go on a road trip to get to a new place to live. After all, what place would take in a magical gem boy and a killer animatronic? If they're even lucky, they'll find a cardboard box big enough to fit Springtrap. Springtrap saw Steven coming up to the car, smiling and carrying a box. Springtrap rolled down the window, just so he can speak to Steven.

"Hey, we all ready?" Springtrap asked.

"Yup! I'm ready for our road trip! We'll visit sight-seeing places, see amazing people!" Steven said, smiling.

Springtrap chuckled. "Sure, amazing people..." Springtrap thought back to Nanefua.

"Silly Springtrap!" Steven said, going to load the box into the back.

"Ha ha..." Springtrap looked away.

Once the box was loaded into the back, Steven walked to the front and got in, starting the car.

"Thank goodness you don't have to eat! We save up much more food by that way!" Steven said.

"Yeeeaaa..." Springtrap said, placing his elbow out the window.

Steven began driving, and the two set off on their epic road trip.

Springtrap was bored to death from this road trip and he couldn't do anything about it. He just sat there and watched the trees go by. He was thinking of what would happen if they ended up in Hurricane. Will Steven get caught up in the mysteries? He sighed. That won't happen... will it? Springtrap thought. He sighed. It was starting to turn night time, and Steven seemed tired.

"Hey, Stevo? Are ya needing a break?" Springtrap asked.

"Yea..." Steven yawned.

"Alright, Steven, let's get to a hotel..." Springtrap said, looking for one.

"But how can we when your here? They'll kick us out!" Steven said, yawning a bit after.

"Don't worry: I have an idea..." Springtrap said.

"No way in he'll are you bringing in an animatronic!" the lady at the counter said.

They were in a hotel in Clayton, Delaware, and the receptionist wasn't being very nice.

"Please! He's my only friend!" Steven began to fake cry.

The receptionist groaned, and she slapped her hand to her face. Literally.

"Fine! But if he causes any trouble, you're outta here! Got it?" the receptionist asked.

"Oh thank you!" Steven smiled.

The receptionist handed Steven the key, and they made it to their room. Once inside it was like a basic hotel room, with only one bed and a couch. Steven rolled his eyes.

"She never thought of giving us a bigger room?" Springtrap asked.

"Whatever, Springtrap. Let's get comfy: we will be leaving first thing tomorrow." Steven told Springtrap.

"Well, alright. I'll crash on the couch." Springtrap said.

"Thanks buddy." Steven said, going to the bed.

THE NEXT MORNING...

Steven woke up, feeling refreshed. He looked around. Oh yea... thats right... he thought. He got up and out of bed, but he didn't see Springtrap on the couch. Oh no! Steven thought. He hurried to the room door when he heard Springtrap talking to someone. Huh? Steven opened the room door and saw Springtrap on the phone, who looked at him right away.

"Hey, Connie? I think Steven wants to talk to you." Springtrap said, handing Steven the phone.

Steven took it, confused. He put it to his ear, and heard Connie.

"Steven? What happened?! Why did you leave Beach City?!" Connie asked.

"Its a long story, Connie. How are you?" Steven asked.

"I'm fine, Steven. Why did Springtrap answer the phone?" Connie asked.

"He did?" Steven was confused.

"Yea! He answered when I called you!" Connie said.

"Oh boy..." Steven sighed.

"Steven? What's wrong?" Connie asked.

"I'm fine, Connie. Can we talk later? We are just leaving the hotel." Steven said, pulling the phone from his ear.

"O-okay, Steven. I'll wait to talk to you again." Connie said before Steven pressed the hang-up button.

"Geez Steven, no need to be rude." Springtrap said, crossing his arms.

"Sorry, it's just... I don't wanna tell her the truth." Steven sighed.

"No need: I already did." Springtrap said, looking away.

"Did you really have to?" Steven asked.

"Of course! If you wouldn't do it, someone has to!" Springtrap explained.

"Oh, alright. Thanks, Springtrap." Steven smiled.

"Hey, don't sweat it, kiddo." Springtrap smirked.

The sound of a plate dropping could be heard. Steven and Springtrap looked at who dropped it an saw a maid, with a horrified look.

"BACK INTO THE ROOM, SPRINGY!" Steven said, pushing Springtrap into the room again.

They were now leaving the hotel, and Springtrap was waiting for Steven. He saw him come out of the hotel and swing the keys on his finger. He headed to the car and got into the drivers side. He started the engine and they went to drive off, excited to get back into the road.
