Chapter 27 -

Harry and Tony looked up at the aliens that appeared to be on flying chariots, they remembered that they were called the 'Chitauri' but quite frankly neither of them really cared what they were supposed to be called at the moment. The aliens riding them were mostly grey colored and appeared to be a hybrid mix of reptilians life forms and machines.

"You ready for this?" Iron Man asked Grim.

"Not my first time fighting an army," Grim replied. "just the first time fighting one from out of space." He added almost as an afterthought before he flew up towards the portal with Iron Man flying right alongside him. As they ascended higher into the air they easily caught the attention of the Chitauri.

Iron Man began firing repulsor blasts from his hands just as Grim pulled a sword out of his suit using his left hand and had his wand appear in his other. Grim began blasting them using wand while keeping the sword ready to strike any that got too close. He and Iron Man each managed to cut down several of these alien warriors. Iron Man's right shoulder pad opened and several small missiles shot out and destroyed a large amount of the Chitauri vehicles.

Grim cut down one pilot with his sword before leaving his sword in the body of another pilot after hitting another chariot with a high powered flame blast. It didn't escape Grim's notice that a great many of the Chitauri had managed to sneak past him and Stark, he was then blasted by one of the energy beams from the Chitauri weapons, it shoved him to the side a bit but thankfully it felt like nothing more than a rough push thanks to his brilliant suit. Grim aimed his wand at the chariot that had blasted him and sent a blasting curse that shoved it backwards so it crashed into two other Chitauri chariots.

Harry changed directions and descended down to chase after the ones that had gotten away, he could have stayed by the portal but knew that he would have likely gotten overwhelmed with so many coming out so fast, plus if he didn't go down and help then a lot of people would die since the Chitauri were showing no problems with blasting each and everything in sight. He cut down one chariot with a cutting curse to the pilot before hitting another chariot pilot with a killing curse. It did not escape his attention that two chariots were flying behind him. He shot a wandless blast that quickly took out one and then he hit the other with an ice blast that caused it to fall straight towards the ground.

Grim quickly chased after another trio of chariots, he barrel rolled to avoid several blasts from them. The chariots had suddenly changed directions and and headed towards him, they began firing but he quickly shielded against their blasts, after a few seconds of shielding he teleported so he was now behind them. The Chitauri were confused by the sudden disappearance of their target but did not get much time to deal with their confusion since Grim wasted no time at all and quickly killed them.

Grim was pushed forwards by one blast that hit his back, he looked back and saw at least ten Chitauri chariots heading towards him. He flew off to avoid another blast and kept flying with the chariots chasing after him, one new chariot tried to surprise him by attacking from the side but a quick cutting curse had taken that one down. Grim glanced back at the Chitauri chariots chasing after him, he aimed his wand behind him and multiple golden soccer ball sized orbs of energy shot out.

Just as the Chitauri got closer to the golden orbs the orbs exploded, each one taking down multiple chariots. Grim landed on top of a building, he span around just as his wand top glowed a bright blue, he waved his hand a big, bright, blue wave shot out and took down at least ten chariots. While he loved flying his spells were far more powerful and easier to aim at when he had his feet planted on something solid.

He aimed his hand at a chariot that was flying towards him and his suit shot a spear sized spike that pierced through the pilot and into the passenger, the chariot crashed into another thanks to the loss of control and took that down as well. Harry wasn't given much time to marvel at his work due to a blast from behind that struck the roof that he was standing on, the exploding roof sent him flying off the building.

He quickly recovered and flew off, blasting many more aliens as he did so. He teleported to another rooftop, the tip of his wand glowed a bright red just as he aimed it at several Chitauri chariots, a thick red beam blasted out from his wand and pierced through four chariots before Grim ended the spell, he then flicked his wand and sent a chariot crashing into another chariot.

Grim drew a large black colored 'X' in the air with his wand, he jabbed the 'X' and it shot forward and wrapped itself around two Chariots, causing them to crash against a third one as they fell out of the sky. One energy beam came close to hitting Grim but he managed to deflect it towards another pilot with a shield before hitting the one who had shot at him with a killing curse.

Suddenly Grim realized that he was surrounded on all sides by Chitauri chariots that were hovering over and around him, but he wasn't worried as he was nothing if not adaptable. He waved his wand around himself and created a transparent dome shaped shield. The Chitauri wasted no time and quickly fired at the shield, their beams crashed against it but it did not break.

What they did not realize was the fact that shield was in fact absorbing and holding the energy from the attacks, several moments later the Chitauri stopped firing and checked to see if Grim was dead, when the dust from all the blasting cleared they saw that he was standing and perfectly unharmed. Three seconds later the shield burst outwards, slapping all the nearby Chitauri away, a few recovered but most of them crashed into each other and plummeted towards the ground.

Grim ran and quickly jumped off the building and flew off before they could start blasting him again. Several chariots began chasing him, they all started firing their energy beams but Grim dodged them all and quickly returned fire.

"Stark! We're on your three and heading North East." Grim heard Natasha's voice thanks to the ear piece that he was wearing.

"What? Did you stop for drive through?" Stark asked sarcastically just as Grim dodged a trio of beams before killing three more pilots with piercing hexes. He wasn't really sure how long he had been fighting at this point. "Swing up Park, I'm going to lay them out for you." Stark said before he leaded the chariots that were chasing him into position for them to be shot by the very large machine gun that was attached to the jet that Barton and Natasha were flying.

Grim felt himself get blasted in the left side and returned the favour by flicking his wrist and sending a spike at the shooter from his suit, Grim aimed his wand behind him and allowed a thin green gas to shoot out, he waited until a few Chitauri chariots got into the gas before he lit it on fire. Grim continued flying when he saw Iron Man flying towards him from the opposite direction.

Grim didn't slow down though, instead he sped up and flew straight towards Stark. Grim leaned towards his left, Iron Man appeared to have got and understood the hint as he leaned in the opposite direction. Both waited until they were close enough, Iron Man quickly flew lower and went under the Chariots that were chasing Grim, he had managed to blast a few on the way. Grim on the other hand had teleported away and landed on top of a nearby building and shot any remaining chariots that had managed to not crash.

After he was done with that he would have liked to call it a day but knew that the fight was anything but close to being over. He quickly rolled out of the way to avoid some more blasts and shot down two more chariots before flying off and returning to the air. Four red beams shot out of his wand and took out four more chariots, he then produced a flock of birds with metal wings and directed them to attack Chitauri soldiers, and they did so.

Grim placed his left hand on his chest as his suit created a few throwing stars for him, he dodged one blast before throwing them and taking out a pilot. His suit created a knife for him which he grabbed by the handle and tossed behind him into another pilot. Grim followed up with an explosive curse that managed to take out two more chariots.

After a few more minutes of flying and blasting Grim heard a loud crash and looked down to see that the jet had crashed landed.

After a few seconds to make sure that everyone was alright, and a moment to appreciate how durable the jet was, the jet doors opened. Natasha, Clint, Steve and Padfoot all quickly walked out. They were only out of the jet for a few seconds when they saw a trio of Chitauri soldiers standing a small distance away and pointing their weapons at them.

But before either side could do anything the ground under the Chitauri soldiers exploded, throwing the trio of soldiers into different directions. Grim landed right in front of the group, Padfoot quickly rushed towards him and placed both of his paws on Harry's chest just as Harry gave the black dog a quick hug before gently pushing him off after a quick 'missed you too boy'.

"Are you all alright?" Harry asked when he looked at the other members of the jet crash.

"We're fine," Cap answered on behalf of the group. "but we need to start helping the civilians."

"You guys can take the ground then, me and Stark are dealing with the sky. Padfoot," Harry said to Padfoot who was giving Harry his full attention. "battle mode." Harry said before he took off into the air and flew back into battle.

Before Natasha and the others could say anything they heard Padfoot growl, they looked towards the dog and watched as he grew until he was the size of a dire wolf, his teeth became longer, especially his fangs, the nails on his paws became longer. Slick black armour appeared on him in the form of a chest plate, leg guards, a tip on his tail that had a silver spike on it and a helmet with holes for his ears while the rest of his body disappeared under a thin grey cloth. The final change was in his eyes which were now a bright and fiery emerald green as opposed to his usual blue eyes. Right now he looked less like a simple, everyday pet and more like a pet that belonged to a god of war.

"Whoa." Clint let out a deep breath at the sight in front of him. "Am I the only one who is seeing this?" He asked the other two.

"I thought it was just me." Natasha replied, looking at Padfoot with wide eyes. Padfoot suddenly growled and rushed forwards and straight at a group of five Chitauri soldiers, he quickly tackled one to the ground which caused the others to fall back. Padfoot's teeth ripped into the soldier who quickly died under such a vicious attack, Padfoot then turned to his right and jumped in the air. He bit one soldier as his back legs kicked the other, the soldiers throat was ripped out before Padfoot sank his teeth into the other one.

The two remaining soldiers blasted Padfoot but their blasts didn't do much besides push him slightly, Padfoot growled before charging towards the two, he quickly killed the one on the left. The one on the right tried running but Padfoot was faster and quickly caught up, he slammed his teeth into the soldier's arm and dragged him down to the ground before attacking the throat.

Once he was done Padfoot quickly rushed towards the others and stopped in front of Natasha, he bowed his head down and dropped something which upon closer inspection looked like the throat that he had just ripped out. Clint and Steve looked at Natasha who had simply leaned down and without hesitation or fear and petted Padfoot on the head.

"Good boy," She smiled. "I'll make sure Harry gives you a nice treat later." Padfoot happily barked at that.

"This is nice and all but we have to go, come on." Steve said before rushing off, the others (Padfoot included) exchanged looks before they nodded and ran off after him.

"Did you know that he could change like that?" Barton asked Natasha as they all followed behind Cap.

"No," Natasha shook her head after a quick glance at Padfoot who had chosen to keep pace with her. "no I didn't." She added, wondering what other secrets Harry had kept hidden from her and if there was anything else that Padfoot could do.

Grim was flying and blasting Chitauri chariots out of the sky when he saw one window on a building break as a beam shot through it, a second later a woman with hair so blonde that it looked white was thrown out of the building and fell towards the ground, screaming in terror as gravity pulled her down. Grim quickly aimed his wand at her and cast a spell to slow her down, he teleported to her and grabbed her before teleporting back down to the ground.

"What...what was..." The woman gasped but didn't get to say too much as she was interrupted by an impatient wizard.

"Look just get out of here, go down to the subways or somewhere safe and out of the way." Grim said before he heard a loud bang a short distance behind him, he turned and saw several Chitauri soldiers on the ground. "Fuck my life and prick in charge of it." Grim said under his breath before he teleported close to them and once he was sure that there were no civilians in the way he fired a lightning blast from his wand, the Chitauri soldiers screeched in pain before falling down to the ground.

It was not a time for rest though as one of the Chitauri soldiers had managed to dodge and two more had quickly moved in, the first soldier ran towards him with the other two following behind him. Grim quickly hit the first soldier in the stomach with a spell once he got close enough, Grim then grabbed that soldier by the arm and turned him around so he was facing the other two. The soldiers stomach exploded and his insides shot out like shrapnel and struck the other two, causing them to stumble back.

Harry dropped the dead soldier then followed up with a blood boiling curse to the Chitauri soldier on the right after hitting the one on the left with a high powered cutting curse that sliced him clean in half from the waist. The Chitauri soldier hit by the blood boiling curse was screeching in pain, Grim showed no sympathy and simply hit it with a body bind and pushed it over, he was alright with allowing the blood boiling curse to finish it off. Grim turned when he saw another group of Chitauri land, he was about to fire a spell when he suddenly became aware of something else coming.

He looked up and saw something big fly out of the portal. It was a large creature with a serpentine body and massive teeth, it was clad almost completely in armor plating that is outfitted with large fin-like blades, and had many Chitauri soldiers riding on the side of it. This intimidating leviathan was so big that it could have probably killed Slytherin's basilisk by just sitting on it, as it got closer to the buildings Chitauri soldiers jumped off of it and onto the side of those buildings.

Grim was thankfully still mentally present enough to dodge out of the way when one Chitauri soldier fired at him, Grim rushed towards five Chitauri soldiers. He quickly killed the center one with a piercing hex through the chest, he was about to fire off another spell when a familiar shield flew past him and bounced off the ground then slamming into one soldier's face, taking him out. Grim didn't even stop at that, another Chitauri soldier was taken out by an arrow, three guesses as to who shot that arrow.

The three remaining soldiers aimed their weapons at Harry who had blocked their blasts with a shield, before they could fire again one of them was struck down by a double tap. Grim became aware of Padfoot running alongside him, Padfoot tackled one soldier just as Harry hit the last one with an elbow that sent him up into the air where Harry grabbed him and slammed him down to the ground. Grim looked towards Padfoot who had just ripped out a soldier's throat, he looked back behind him and saw Cap, Hawkeye and Black Widow. Cap was picking up his shield, just as Hawkeye pulled out another arrow from his quiver and Black Widow nodded at him.

Grim nodded back right before finishing off the Chitauri soldier under him with a killing curse then turning his attention back to another group of Chitauri that just landed.

A.N: Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter. This is just part one of the battle of New York, what do you guys think so far? What worked? What could be better? If people want to give ideas for what happens next chapter or spells used in the next chapter then feel free.

Also one person has asked me what I plan to do after this battle, I do plan to make a few chapters outside of canon events, hopefully you will all enjoy it, then after that I will move on to Thor the dark world.

Also I just want to say I love the fact that my last chapter had more reviews about the omakes than the actual story, I don't know how to feel about that. I'm just going to be happy about it...yeah, happy works for me. In fact I'm so happy that I will gift you all with some more omakes.

"Hello?" Harry asked as he answered phone.

"Oh sorry," Fury apologized. "I selected the wrong motherfucker." Fury said before ending the call.

"The fuck?!"

Omake 2 :

"Hey Harry." Tony said.

"Yeah?" Harry asked.

"You can just use your magic to make anything you want change shape, is that right?" Tony asked.

"Yeah, why do you ask?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

Ten minutes later and after a lot of convincing Harry found himself with his wand aimed at Tony's crotch.

"Just do it!" Tony yelled right as Pepper walked into the room.

"Tony?" Pepper blinked

"Pepper!" Tony gasped.

"I can explain!"

"Not without sounding like a dumbass." Harry commented.

Omake 3 :

"Can someone toss me my will to live?" Tony groaned.

"If you want." Harry shrugged before he yeeted Pepper at Tony.

"I didn't mean do that!"

"Oh, you wanted the other one?" Harry asked as he raised Peter over his shoulders.

Omake 4 :

"You know that carrots are good for your eyesight." Steve said.

"Really?" Natasha asked.

"Yeah."

"Okay, by the way, look behind you." She said, Steve looked behind only to jump back when he saw Harry with a carrot shoved into each eye.

"You lied." Harry said in a disappointed voice.

Omake 5:

"Take this!" Thanos yelled before chopping off Harry's arm, Harry screamed in pain. "There, now stand aside worth adversary."

"Tis but a scratch." Harry replied, glad for the healing factor.

"A scratch?! You're arm's off."

"No it isn't."

"Well what's that then?" Thanos demanded as he gestured to where Harry's arm was supposed to be only to blink when he saw it was reattached to his body.

"Don't know what you're talking about." Harry shrugged.

"You liar!"

Omake 6:

"Where the hell is he?" Tony hissed under his breath, he was currently back in time with Harry, trying to get the infinity stones so they could bring them back to the future. Tony jumped slightly when he heard a noise from a closet, he opened it to find Harry naked with a woman. "Damn it Harry, I..." Tony paused as he noticed the other person in the closest.

"Oh...hi Tony..." Harry said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Harry..."

"Yeah..."

"What...the hell...are you doing a closest with my mother?!" Tony demanded.

"Um...making you I think...you're welcome."
