Disclaimers: I own nothing except my idea. Most plot involved in this story will be based on the TV show Gotham.

This story is based on a version of Deathstroke/Slade Wilson from my creation, who hasn't taken the name Deathstroke yet, and is 17. He lost his mother when he was nine and his father at thirteen. On the street he befriended Selina Kyle, but eventually got adopted by Fish Mooney.

Slade Wilson: Child of Gotham

Slade Wilson's P.O.V.

I stand there, thinking. I pull out my father's dog tags from around my neck. I ignore one of Fish's men screaming at the back. Fish is dealing with his betrayal. I sigh. I then hear someone open the door and on instinct I pull out my sword and turn around putting it to a mysterious man's throat. "Slade," Harvey Bullock says.

I turn to him with the slightest smile. "Oh, hey Bullock," I say, lowering my blade, and putting it back on my back. "This guys with you?" I ask.

"This is my new partner, James Gordon," Bullock introduces. "Jim, this is Fish Mooney's adopted son, Slade Wilson."

"Do you always greet people by putting a blade to their neck," Jim asks. My smile fades.

"Only the ones who startle me," I reply, bluntly. "So, since you brought Jimmy here I'm guessing that you've come on business."

"Yeah, we need to talk with your mother," Harvey says.

"I'll grab her, but it might take a moment," I warn. Harvey nods and I walk over.

Fish hits the man with the baseball bat. "I still care for you, deeply, but I don't believe that you still care for me anymore," Fish says.

"I c-c-care for you!" the man whimpers in pain.

"Then where's my money?" Fish asks.

"I'll get it, I'll get it, I'll get it," the man says, Fish replies by hitting the man with the baseball bat. He groans in pain.

"Boy!" Fish shouts at her umbrella boy who was too far away for her liking.

"Sorry," the umbrella boy, Oswald Cobbelpot, apologies.

"If you let this hair go frizzy, you will be," Fish warns.

I then walk over. "Hey, mom, Bullocks here," I say to Fish.

"Thank you, Slade," Fish says. She then turns to her men. "Keep him warm," she says, before me and her walk off, back into the club. "Harvey," she greets.

"Fish," Harvey says, taking off his hat.

"Where have you been," Fish asks.

"Where haven't I been?" Harvey replies, Fish then kisses him on the cheek.

"Who's the friend?" Fish asks.

"Detective James Gordon ma'am," Gordon says.

"Well aren't you a cool glass of milk," Fish says.

"Ma'am, was that screaming we heard back there?" Gordon asks.

"Yes, my boys are watching a scary movie," Fish replies, sarcastically.

"Really?" Gordon asks.

"No. Actually, one of my staff has been stealing money from me, so we're beating his punk ass," Fish replies.

"Relax, Junior, Fish gets some leeway. Her staff are rough characters, need firm handling," Harvey says.

"So, this isn't a social visit then?" Fish asks.

"Unfortunately not. Brass sent me by to talk to you about the Wayne murderers," Harvey says.

"Terrible thing," Fish says. We all then hear a muffled scream. My eyes shift to the ground uncomfortably whilst Gordon has a concerned look in his eye, as he turns to the door outside before looking back at Harvey and Fish.

"Listen, junior, if you're worried, why don't you go back there and see if anyone wants to press charges?" Harvey says. "If that's okay with you, Fish," he adds, looking to Fish.

"Mi casa es su casa," Fish replies in a foreign language. Gordon then walks out. Harvey, Fish and me then sit at a table and talk business and once that's done we just talked in general till Gordon entered.

"Oh hey. Everything alright back there?" Harvey asks. He nods, but the look on his face says the exact opposite.

"It's always good to see you Harvey," Fish says.

"It is," Harvey says. He then turns to me. "Stay out of trouble, Slade," Harvey says.

"You too, Harvs. And good luck with the murder investigation," I say.

Scene change.

Fish asked me to watch Butch and the others deal with Gordon as she someday wants me to take over from her. I reluctantly agree to do so. Harvey then comes to where they're going to execute Gordon when Harvey finds out and talks to Fish trying to get her to let Gordon go, but stupidly threatens her while doing so and gets himself knocked out and hung upside down. So, I decided to call Falcone. He didn't like that Fish was going to execute police without his permission. When Falcone and his men enter, they fire down all of the Fish's men except me and Butch who were the only ones who didn't fight back. "Grandfather," I say. Falcone gives me a nod.

"Don Falcone," Butch says.

"Forgive me, young man, but I forget what your name is. Or perhaps I never knew it," Falcone says.

"Gilzean, sir," Butch says.

"Gilzean," Falcone repeats. "Tell Ms. Mooney she's too impetuous. If she wants to kill policemen, she has to ask permission," Falcone says.

"Yes, sir," Butch says.

Harvey groans. Falcone walks over and bends over to them. "There are rules," he says, he then gets up and walks off. "Cut them down," he orders his men before finally leaving.

Scene change.

Gordon, Harvey, and me are in a car with Oswald in the boot. We stop at a shipping harbor. "Lookit, Jim... I'm listening. I wasn't being honest with you. But you weren't ready for the truth," Harvey says.

"You didn't tell me because you were ashamed. Why are we stopping here?" Gordon asks. Harvey gets out of the car, and opens the ca boot revealing Oswald.

"No, please. Please, I beg of you!" Oswald begs.

"Shut up! This is the fool that snitched to Montoya and Allen. Falcone wants you to walk him to the end of that pier and put a bullet in his head. Then everybody knows you're with the program," Harvey explains.

"And if I don't?" Gordon asks.

"Then I'm supposed to take you out and him, too. And here's the thing, Jim. I like you. I might not have the stomach to do it, but I'll try. 'Cause if I don't, someone will get to you quick enough. Then they're gonna get to me and probably Barbara as well. Who knows what you told her," Harvey explains.

"I told her nothing," Gordon argues.

"You think Falcone cares? Come on. You've killed people before," Harvey responds.

"That was war," Gordon argues.

"This is war! We're at war with scumbags like him. Sometimes in war, you got to do a bad thing to do good, right? So do you do this bad thing or do you die and maybe your girl dies? I might be lackadaisical, hmm? But that's not a tough call," Harvey explains. Harvey then revels a gun covered by a red clothe. Gordon grabs Oswald and pulls him out of the car. He then grabs the gun. Harvey give his partner a gun.

"Walk," Gordon says, pushing Oswald. Oswald wobbles towards the pier. I then see Gordon shoot Oswald in the head and he falls into the water.
