Hermia Harmony, 16 years old woke up. Today was the start of a new term, the spring term at Canterlot High. She had been in the human world since she was born, as her 2 month older sisters, Adagio, Sonata and Aria had been in the human world 2 months less than her. Today, she and her sisters would be starting at CHS.

Hermia slung her school bag over her shoulder and her guitar case. She walked to school, humming a tune. Her pendant wasn't scarlett red like her sisters, she didn't have one. Hermia was determined to find out about the source of Equestrian Magic. She walked into the school where she and her sisters saw a red-gold haired girl, Sunset Shimmer, come in, smiling.

"Hey," she said friendily. "Are you the new kids I supposed to show around?"

Hermia smiled, "We are," she said. "I'm Hermia, this is Adagio, Sonata and Aria."

"Pretty," said Sunset. "So, what's your locker number?"

Hermia showed Sunset her locker number. "Why, you're all to the right of me!"

"So, that's the locker room. Here's the Science lab. On your right is the computor lab."

"Oh, those are nice," said Sunset, looking at Adagio's pendant.

"thanks," said Hermia.

"So, it's lunch now. Do you guys wanna join us?"

Hermia nodded. "I've heard so much about the Sonic Rainbooms. I've got their first album, you know Shake your Tail?"

"I haven't known about that," said Sunset. "I just help prepare everything."

Sunset and Hermia were lining up. In front of them was Rarity. Hermia was singing, "Beauty comes from oceans,

animals and water,

love from the heart of warmth."

Rarity turned. "Hey, you're really good. I'm Rarity."

"I'm Hermia Harmony, I'm new here. Thanks." said Hermia shyly.

Rarity, Sunset and Hermia plonked their trays onto the table.

"This is Hermia," said Sunset. "She's new."

Rainbow Dash smiled. "Hey, Hermia!"

Suddenly, the 3 girls Sunset met earlier came in, singing. Suddenly, everyone started arguing, that, apart from the table at the far end, the Equestria Girls.

"Those are my sisters," explained Hermia. "They're evil. I don't have anything to do with them. I write my own songs about animals and oceans and things. That's why my cutie mark is a dolphin, see. Do you think we should report them?"

When the 7 girls went to Principal Celestia, she had been blanked.

"Looks like we're on our own," said Rainbow Dash.
