This story was originally going to be a Marvel X Pokemon one, but since Disney owns both Marvel and the KH franchise, I thought this was a better idea. Plus, Infinity War and KH3 encouraged me even more to do it.
Enjoy!
The universe, where all existing matter and space is considered as a whole. It is believed to be at least ten billion light years in diameter and contains a vast number of galaxies; Within one of those galaxies, rest a world engulfed in a bright light. A world that consisted of tropical islands being surrounded by a calming sea of water. The home to three of the Guardians of Light.
"Ahhh…"
A young male adult with spiky brown hair let out a deep yawn during the peaceful night as he and his two friends were enjoying the starry sky on a huge tree.
The one who was really enjoying the night was a silver haired teen named, Riku. The best friend who felt more like a brother to the brown haired boy and a Keyblade Master who went through even more trouble than him during their adventures. The two of them had both experienced hurt and suffering deep within their hearts multiple times, but they managed to come back around.
"Beautiful night."
"Huh, Sora?" Riku asked, turning towards his friends.
"Y-yeah." The brown haired teen boy yawned.
"Ahh…"
Another yawn went out to the silent ocean, but it didn't come from the drowsy Sora. The person who was beginning to get tired was an auburn haired girl who had Sora's head resting on her lap. Even though she was pinned down to the large tree by his sleepy head, the sixteen year old girl couldn't help but to admire the view below her.
"Not you too, Kairi." The keyblade master responded.
For over a year, the two were separated during the final showdown against the Seekers of Darkness. Upon battling them, Kairi was taken to the leader of the seekers, Master Xehanort and got her heart split into seven fragments. Sora was able to gather the fragments and revive the fallen Princess of Heart with the help from his friends, but paid with his life in the process.
"You're not getting tired at all, Riku?" The princess wondered.
"If I was, then who would bring you two back home?" Riku replied.
"And besides, it's been awhile since we've enjoyed silent nights like this one." He exclaimed.
"That's true." Kairi nodded.
"You can say that again, Riku." Sora yawned.
Ever since the trio got separated by the darkness; which swallowed their homeworld, their lives were no longer normal. The trio who were once children who enjoyed the simple things in life had grown to be the guardians of light and hope of their universe. With their constant keyblade training, Heartless battling, and social gatherings with their friends, it became less frequent for them to enjoy the islands' starry sky.
"You know, when I waited for you guys to return home the first time, I often wondered which stars could guide you two back." The auburn haired princess mentioned.
"Huh?"
"What do you mean, Kairi?" Sora wondered, lifting his head off of his friend's lap.
"If every star in the sky right now represents the lights of a world and each star is connected to a specific world,..." Kairi pointed up.
"Millions of beacons to guide us back home." Riku replied to his friend's statement.
Upon hearing the princess's statement, Sora simply gazed at the sparkling sky above. Over a million glimmers of light were shining over the peaceful islands, overwhelming causing the sixteen year old boy. Not only was he imagining the countless worlds being presented to the islands, but he also saw the hearts that lived in those worlds.
"It makes you wonder how much of this universe we've seen during our journeys." Sora spoke.
A hand was then placed on the curious boy's, waking him back to reality from his thoughts. He turned to his right, only to get lost by the young princess's eyes. Feeling Sora's black gauntlets, Kairi gave her most special one a warm smile, calming his mind with a sweet stare.
"No matter how far we get separated, we'll always be together." Kairi said in a caring tone.
"Our hearts will always be connected." Sora replied.
After sharing a Paopu Fruit with Kairi, Sora knew that whatever fate brought him towards, he was with the young Princess of Heart. The two had tightened their destinies with one another, creating an unbreakable bond. A bond that will remain a part of them for all eternity.
"That's strange." Riku commented.
"Huh?" Sora shook.
"What is, Riku?" Kairi asked.
"Look up at the sky." The Keyblade Master pointed upwards.
The two listened to their friend and gazed up at the stars. Unfortunately, the stars showed the trio an unexpected surprise. Beyond the night sky laid a star fading into the darkness.
"Did a star go out?" Sora wondered.
"GAH!"
"Sora!" Riku and Kairi cried.
A sudden jolt struck Sora's heart upon seeing the dying star. With each passing second, the teen suffered a mild dose of pain pounding within as he felt his two friends holding him in concern.
"Sora, are you okay?" The Keyblade Master called.
"Y-yeah." Sora nodded, holding his heart.
"What happened?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know." Sora shook.
"A jolt is hitting me as if…as if I'm feeling a world being consumed." He described.
"By the Heartless?" Riku guessed.
"Whatever it is, it must be really bad out there." The brown haired teen figured, looking back up at the sky.
The other two gazed back up to the mysterious sight, wondering the same question Sora had on his mind. A few possibilities were being formed inside them, but the chances of a world being no more was likely. A plethora of lives were probably lost to an unknown force, sending pain and worry to the young guardians from the depths of space.
Meanwhile Hundreds of Lightyears Away
"Mmm…"
A booming moan of pleasure echoed through parts of a galaxy as an enormous round spaceship hovering above a field of debris. Particles of gas and solid mass cleared away from the ship's large window, giving the pilot a satisfying grin on his face. The pilot towered at around a hundred feet tall, sitting on his massive seat with a control panel in front of him. He wore a suit of purple and blue armor protecting him from cosmic rays. He was also wearing a huge purple helmet; which had pointy sides and shielding his massive head.
"Delicious!"
A tiny being stood beside the pilot's seat with no emotion. The being was gray skin, had a dark blue beard, and wore a red suit with a yellow belt. He was also holding a big scythe in his right hand.
"Has your hunger been fed enough, Master?" The tiny being called.
"Galactus has consumed the energy of that world, but the great hunger will be upon me once again." The purple suited pilot answered.
"And that time is sooner than you think, my Herald!"
"Shall I go and find another world suitable for your nourishment?" The gray skin underling asked.
"You must!" Galactus ordered.
With a flick of his giant right hand, a beam of energy shot the tiny minion, trapping him from where he stood. The beam then drew him into the huge hand as Galactus closed it, squeezing him with his massive palm. It didn't take long to release his grip on his herald, sending him off with a floating piece of matter for him to ride on.
"Go forth, Terrax the Tamer!" The huge pilot roared, pulling a lever in front of him.
"And show those who are foolish enough to go up against my power."
A beam of energy was shot out of Galactus's forehead, striking his herald into oblivion. Terrax then reappeared outside of his master's ship with his solid platform keeping him from drifting to the depths of space. Without hesitation, the lone herald set off on an unknown path in search for another meal for Galactus to feed upon.

Although this will be a KH X Marvel crossover, it won't have a bunch of Marvel heroes and villains. Maybe GotG and Dr. Strange, but it's going to basically be the Guardians of Light.
