To Class 1-A's thankfulness, Bakugou was a relatively hard sleeper and he woke up just as Sato was starting to cook breakfast. No one else was awake except for a bleary-eyed Kirishima, who had woke up as soon as he had noticed Bakugou not near him.

"Up," Bakugou ordered, pointing at the counter. Sato fumbled, looking at Kirishima for answers.

"He wants to sit on the counter. Let him help you with breakfast, it'll keep him out of trouble," Kirishima sighed, taking a sip of his coffee.

Sato set Bakugou on the counter, setting him to work on mixing the pancake batter. It was a simple task that didn't require much, but it was obvious that to Bakugou's currently five year old mind, that the pancake mix was the most important job.

"Thanks Bakugou, but it's mixed enough now! You can stop whisking it!" Sato laughed as Bakugou furiously beat the mix, smiling gleefully.

"Aww, how cute! Girls, look! Baby Bakugou's helping with breakfast!" Mina cooed, squishing her cheeks together.

The girls had awoken, each of them fussing over a delighted Bakugou. Momo gave him a soft grin as he tugged her sleeve, pointing at a peach.

"Momo," he muttered.

"Yes Bakugou, my name means 'peach'! How observant!"

"I don't get it, why are they fussing over him? He's usually such an asshole! When they could have someone like me-" Mineta grumbled, watching as Hagakure poked at Bakugou's squishy cheek.

"He's a kid right now. Girls love kids, and you're not much better. Maybe stop being such a pervert and they'll start to actually like you," Kirishima snapped.

The boys were at a loss as the girls cooed and fawned over Bakugou, who was enjoying the attention immensely. He ate it up, gleeful as Mina pet his hair and even Tsuyu gave him an affectionate hug.

Sato put a plate of the pancakes in front of Bakugou, who's eyes widened.

And then he freaking smiled.

"Holy shit I think I just gained five years to my life," Kaminari wheezed, clutching his heart.

"I know bro, he's just too damn cute," Kirishima whined. He wanted to scoop Bakugou up and shower him with attention, but the girls were hogging him!

Bakugou finished his breakfast, hopping off of his chair and wandering around the room.

He grabbed one of his books that Iida found, stopping in front of Iida himself.

"Read to me," the blond ordered. Iida stumbled, waving his hands and trying to convince Bakugou that he was hardly the person that he would want to read to him!

"Iida, do it. We need to keep him happy," Kirishima warned.

"A-alright, Bakugou! I'll read to you!" Iida said confidently. Bakugou stared at him.

"I don't wanna be read to anymore," he said, taking the book and walking away. He picked up the soft stuffed kitten that Momo had made him, beginning to play 'Rescue' with it. He had just finished his first rescue when Mineta came up to the blond boy.

"Hey, Bakugou! Wanna play something really fun?" Mineta jeered. Kirishima watched like a hawk, unsure of what the ball-headed boy had in mind. Bakugou, unable to resist the temptation of a new fun game, came running with his kitten clutches tightly in his arms.

Mineta grabbed the toy from Bakugou's hands, holding it above his head. Though they were similar in height, Mineta had just enough of a advantage that it made Bakugou grabbing the toy impossible.

"Give it back! I rescued it!" Bakugou wailed, jumping to try and save his kitten. Kirishima knew Mineta had another advantage: Bakugou wouldn't dare use his quirk to best Mineta in fear of harming his toy. He had to rescue it old-school.

"Come on! Use your quirk! I think you're scared to use it!" Mineta antagonized, leering at Bakugou as the smaller boy's eyes filled with tears.

"I rescued her! She's mine! Give her BACK!" Bakugou screeched. Kirishima had enough. He went behind Mineta, grabbing the toy and returning it to Bakugou's outstretched arms. The toddler sniffed, hugging the kitten tightly to his chest as he ran away.

Kirishima rounded on Mineta, growling. "What. The. Fuck. Mineta! He's a toddler right now!! All he was doing was playing a game, and then you go and make him upset! That's not what heroes do! You knew he likes the toy, Momo gave it to him, and it's soft and he enjoys it! You were being an asshole!"

"Mineta, dude, you went too far. Bakugou may normally be an asshole, but right now he's not. You were kinda being a bully, man. You knew he wouldn't use his quirk to rescue it, and you didn't give it back even if he asked," Kaminari admitted. Mineta grumbled.

"He's a brat," the ball-headed boy snarled. Kirishima glared.

"And he currently doesn't deserve you beating up on him because of it! He's trying to get better! So, if I see you near him again- I'll beat you into a pulp. Got it?" Kirishima asked.

Mineta wailed, running off and screaming that everyone was mean to him. Kaminari sighed, running his hands through his hair.

"Kiri, listen. I'm sorry Mineta did that. I mean, Bakugou's a kid right now. He didn't deserve that. I thought Mineta was funny when we first started, but now he's turned into this major jerk and now I just hang around him to control him," he muttered.

"I know, Kami. At least he has you holding his leash. He'd be a good hero if he'd get ahold of himself and stop being such a coward," Kirishima told him.

Mina appeared, a sniffling Bakugou on her hip.

"Who hurt my baby?!" She demanded, "He's crying and I'm out for blood!"

"We all are!" Hagakure demanded, "no one hurts Baby Bakugou! Bakugou Protection Squad, assemble!"

"He came to Momo in quite a panic, ribbit. It took her five minutes to calm him down," Tsuyu said dully.

"Mineta decided to be an asshole. Dad-Shima here already took care of it," Kaminari told them.

"He stole Kin," Bakugou grumbled, hugging the stuffed animal to his body.

"Aww, he named it after the color of its fur! How cute!!" Ochaco cooed. Mina pet Bakugou's hair, and then frowned.

"Kiri, he's feels awfully warm," she muttered.

"What?! Maybe it's because of his quirk? Does he run warmer than others?! What's wrong with him?!" Kirishima fussed, pressing his hand to Bakugou's forehead. Sure enough, he was a lot warmer than he had been when Kirishima picked him up yesterday.

Momo already had her phone out, quickly searching.

She used her quirk to make a thermometer, sticking it into his mouth.

"If it's over 37.7, then we have cause for concern. If not, then it's just because he was upset," she told them calmly.

39.3. Way too high. Momo sighed, brushing her hand against Bakugou's tear-stained cheek. He leaned against it, savoring the coolness against his too warm skin.

"Great, just great! First he's turned into a baby, and now he's sick too! This is it! I don't want kids! They're too stressful! He's scaring me half to death!!" Kirishima told them.

"I'll go get Todoroki, maybe he can use his ice half to keep him cool until we get Mr. Aizawa here," Momo said.

"I'll go see if we have something light for him to eat. Maybe Midoriya has some soft blankets too," Kaminari told them.

Kirishima took Bakugou from Mina, worry making his chest tight. Bakugou was practically limp in his arms, clinging tightly to his stuffed cat.

Kin. Kirishima told himself.

"You're making me worry a lot, Baku-bro," Kirishima teased lightly.

"'M sorry... tired," Bakugou sighed.

Author's Note

Ahh, now they gotta deal with SICK Baby-gou! (For Us non-Celsius users- 37.7 is 99.9 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a slight fever, but usually not concerning. It's able to be treated with cold medicine. 39.3 is 102.8, a much higher and more concerning temperature that is usually treated by a doctor. Assuming that Bakugou runs slightly higher to help with his quirk.

Mineta, you asshole, bullying a baby Bakugou playing with his stuffed toy!

Hagakure, closing her door: Alright, first meeting topic- Protect HIM! (Points a toddler Bakugou, who honestly is just there so he gets cookies)

Momo, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Mina, Jirou, and Kirishima: nodding solemnly, all wearing their 'Bakugou Protection Squad' shirts that Momo made

Kin means 'golden' in Japanese and Bakugou named his cat toy that because Momo made it with pretty golden fur and he loves it.

I can't get over how Momo means 'peach' in Japanese. It's such a pretty name for a pretty girl!

(We cannot forget Momo the lemur from Avatar. He is forever in our hearts, and Momo would be honored to share her name with him)

How Bakugou plays 'Rescue': He threw Kin onto the couch and made a very overdramatized rescue mission involving pillows as villains and then he scaled the 'mountain' (aka- couch) and laughed as he held Kin to his chest, mocking the pillows as they sat there- unable to keep Kin from him.

Toddler Bakugou could have 1000% kicked Mineta's ass. He didn't want to risk hurting his kitty though, so he didn't.
